Hangman’s WrathS1) X Matt vs. Jet Jaguar: The student show kicked off with some fast paced action. Jaguar was on top form and brought the best out of Matt but still managed to put him away following a TTM. S2) Cain Jackal vs. Enrique Rodriguez Jr: “Ricky” had a tough challenge going in against the beastly Jackal, he used his quickness to get the better of him but Jackal caught him and pinned him down in a German Suplex. We kicked the main show right off with “Children of the Revolution” which signals the arrival of Revolution X. The RevX leader walked out with his eyes focused on the ring. Amy Lee was at ringside with him 1) Chris Hammers vs. Jason Williams: This match was all Hammmers. With Hammers in the form he is in Jason stood no chance. A wicked diving rana attempt by Jason turned into a Liger Bomb which kept Jason down for the 3 count. 2) New Age Lady Killers vs. Revolution X: Amy Lee stayed out for the next match and after Hammers told stable mates Devine and LyNN to win he made his way to the back. The Lady Killers wanted to prove themselves after losing the belts and after a back and forth contest the Pin Pointer gave the Killers a win. In a DVD/YouTube exclusive we see Ace Bennett walking through the corridor. He is stopped by Jack Powers who informs him that he will be facing him tonight. Ace tells him that he hasn’t been informed of a title match. Powers responds saying that the title isn’t on the line “but after I beat you tonight I will have a title shot.” 3) Jack Joseph vs. Alex Diamond: “The Flying Saint” came out swinging tonight, Jack’s new persona has helped him reinvent his character and style. Diamond was a little bit off and Jack capitalised winning with a Pele Kick. Intermission. The ring announcer told the crowd that information about Be the Best 2011 will be released later tonight on the SNW website. This will include details on the show, the qualifiers, how to order and how to buy tickets for the show. 4) The Fatality Squad and A.J Matthews vs. Cody Rejaro and the AirDevils: Huge six man tag to restart the show following the break. Lots of good action in the match from all six men, as expected lots of spots especially from the Devils and Kagemann. The Duos Champions luck continued with their ever awesome Fall/Double Stomp combo. In another DVD/YouTube exclusive we see Jack Powers stretching for his non title match against Ace Bennett. He is interrupted by an unknown figure. The man is dresses in a dress shirt and jeans. He wishes Powers luck and moves along. Powers looks confused then continues stretching. 5) Kevin Hart vs. Mike Hogan vs. Jacob Ryler vs. Matt Spade: A great four way bout. Highlights of the match deffinatly came from exchanges between former student rivals Hart and Hogan but Spade and Ryler were no slouches either. Hart hits a 450 on Ryler and locks in the Sharpshooter, meanwhile Hogan hits a Futurism. The referee counts Spade’s shoulders on the matt but notices Ryler tapping at the 2 count giving Hart the win. 6) The Gentlemen’s Club vs. The Olsen Twins: Colin Olsen and Jimmy Olsen come to SNW to try and defeat the most successful champions in SNW history as the Club have a record of 16 title defences as a team. The Olsen’s put on a good show but as the final stretch came Bockwinkel hit his trademark Piledriver on the former ECW superstar to pick up the win. 7) Ace Bennet vs. Jack Powers: In this non title match Powers tried everything to get the better of Bennet but Ace had him scouted. In the early goings Power’s technical prowess prevailed over Ace but he soon fought back. Bennett tried his own submission the Muto Lock but Powers always wriggled out of it before Ace could lock it in. Powers put Ace down with his trademark Power Suplex but was unable to lock in a submission afterwards like he is accustomed to because the man who Powers met backstage was now at ringside. With some strength left Ace lifted himself to his feet ad charged at the kneed Powers hitting a Shinning Wizard to put Jack away for the pinfall. Ace was quick to make his escape knowing that Powers could have locked in a submission following the Power Suplex and probably got the win. As Powers came to his senses the mysterious man was walking away.

Be the Best 2011 Update
How Be the Best 2011 works: There are four competitors in each block. Each competitor will face each other once inside their own block. The match result will correspond to certain points. The competitor with the highest score in each block will advance though to the final four. The final four will then face off on the Be the Best iPPV to truly decide who will Be the Best. The matches will take place over three shows in three weeks.
How the blocks work: A win earns the competitor 2 points, a loss earns a competitor nothing and any type of draw will give both men 1 point each. Draws will include a time limit draw of any match which exceeds 20 minutes. If there is a draw for first place at the end of the competition then the drawing competitors will face off the following week.

Nice show. Wondering who this mystery man who cost Powers the match was, will be cool to find out. Some pretty good matches took place on the show. Hammers is really hot right now, too bad he's a heel or I'm sure he would be getting title shots. I think a Hart/Hogan feud now would be really great and could help boost both to the main event. The BtB setup looks really good this year, I like it. Something different. I see Hammers, Edwards, Hart, and Powers coming out for the final four, where Edwards will win. Would be cool to see someone different win, a guy who could use the boost from it. Keep it up.

I'm a little disappointed with how limited Best of the Best is this year, I feel like a tournament claiming to crown the 'best' in SNW should involve the entire roster, not just a hand picked part of the roster. Still, could be interesting, hoping to see a new talent go over.

Morning ThunderBe the Best 2011 Qualifying Night 1S1) Travis Cantrell, X Matt and Zeke vs. Zakk Static, Phenom and Christopher Kennedy Jones: A big student six man tag. Like all six man tags it was a cluster of wrestling spots. Phenom gets his knees up to a SSP attempt from Cantrell and Zakk is quick to hit the Brainbuster for the 3-count. Zakk Static grabbed the mic post match. He sound positively insane! He said that the focus for too long has been on the likes of Jet Jaguar and Riley Shamrock. From now on he will prove he is best in the student division. Phenom argued with him post match. S2) Jet Jaguar and Cain Jackal vs. Riley Shamrock and Enrique Rodriguez Jr: A fun tag match leading into the main show. Cain continued his beastly dominance while the others showed off their skill. Riley wiped himself and Shamrock out with a dive to the outside leaving Jackal to finish off “Ricky” for the win. SNW World Champion Ace Bennett struts to the ring to start the main show. He once again bring up his win over the “greatest” SNW World Champion, Henry Edwards at “The Showdown II.” He says it’s a pity that all the top SNW athletes are competing in the Be the Best tournament because that means there is no one to face Ace at the iPPV. As he continues a backstage worker runs out and hands a note to Ace. He looks very angry and marches to the back. 1) BLOCK A: Cody Rejero vs. Mike Hogan: A great match to kick off with both men pushing each other to the limit. Cody can put on great matches when he’s not doing comedy and he showed this tonight. Hogan picked up the full 2 points after hitting a Futurism. 2) BLOCK B: Bret Thomas vs. Jordan Devine: The fans were a little hesitant of this match as both were heels but the fans managed to follow the match which some interest. One little mistake by Devine and the current half of the Duos Champions pounced hitting the Fall to earn the 2 points. The Gentlemen’s Club are backstage. Mike Bockwinkel is still in his suit sipping fine wine while a Butler dresses Nick Jacobs into his wrestling attire. Mike Bockwinkel tells Nick that they don’t have to worry about Red Dragon and to just concentrate on winning Be the Best to show everyone in SNW who the top two stars are. 3) BLOCK C: Kevin Hart vs. Jason Williams: Both men were getting good reactions from the crowd but Hart was very over. They traded moves well thoughout with Jason catching Hart off guard with his ariel moves. Jason hit a sick Double Moonsault to the outside which kept both men down for the 20 count resulting in a double count out with both men earning a point each. Post match Hart was upset as he was just milliseconds close to getting back in the ring. Jason Williams offered to shake his hand and after some hesitation Hart accepted and they walked to the back together. 4) BLOCK D: Nick Jacobs vs. Jack Powers: This was a good teachqual bout leading into intermission. Both men have done well in SNW but always missed out on the big one and this is the oppunity to get a shot at the World Champion. It was all going well for Powers till his “follower” made another appearance, distracting Powers and allowing Jacobs to get a roll up victory and the 2 points. Intermission. Post match Jacobs made a quick exit knowing full well that he only won due to distraction. Powers remained in the ring shouting “Who are you!” at the entrance ramp, which was also the question everyone asked during the break. In a DVD/YouTube exclusive we see Ace Bennettt arguing with some backstage workers. Kevin Hart and Mike Hogan walk by and ask Ace what is wrong. Ace tells “Barney and Fred” to move along. Hart says he know anyway, it’s that Ace is defending his title against an outside competitor. Ace sarcastically tells them well done on their performances then walks off as Hogan and Hart laugh. 5) BLOCK A: Chris Hammers vs. Steven Kagemann: Once again the in-form Hammers looked dominant from start to finish. Kagemann is a good competitor but he didn’t have the fire that Hammers had. The Last Minute Orders finished off Kagemann. Can anyone stop Hammers? 6) BLOCK B: Henry Edwards vs. Jack Joseph: This was the shocker of the night. Edwards, one of the top competitors in SNW and the favourite to win this whole thing facing off against Jack Joseph who ever since he changed his name has been looking really good. Edwards pushed Jack to the limits and it looked like Jack would go at anytime but he stayed in it to the 20 minute time limit earning himself a point as does Edwards. Edwards was upset he couldn’t get the full 2 points but respected the effort Jack put in to earn his own point. How costly will this draw be to Edwards effort of winning Be the Best 2011. FUSE Champion, Drake Fortune and manager Edward Colgate are backstage. Colgate says not to worry about his opponent tonight. Although it’s a “Mystery Guest” Colgate believes Drake can beat him. Fortune tells Colgate that he is ready and it doesn’t matter who it is he’ll beat them. 7) BLOCK C: A.J Matthews vs. Mike Bockwinkel: Another heel vs. heel match so the crowd wasn’t as interested. The crowd took A.J as the lesser of two evils and supported him. A.J did well to keep up with the Former SNW World Champion but there was no doubt that Bock would win this one. Bock earned two points following the Bockwinkel Special. FUSE Champion, Drake Fortune and manager Edward Colgate came out ready for their match against the mystery opponent in the last match of tonight’s Be the Best qualifiers. ”Wild Side” by Motley Crew hit and the returning Evan Pagano made his way out. He took hit time posing to the crowd who loved Pagano being back from Japan. Now the FUSE Champion looked worried. 8) BLOCK D: Evan Pagano vs. Drake Fortune: The first portion of the match was all Pagano. Evan controlled the FUSE Champion easily and even was joking about it. But he got distracted by Edward Colgate which led to Fortune controlling but Evan fought back even taking out Colgate with a dive and hit the Calling to get his first win back in SNW and two valuable points. Post match Evan Pagano celebrated with the crowd. He even stayed well after the show finished to meet and greet the fans. He seemed very happy to be back in the States and even happier to be in SNW to get another chance at the SNW World Title. All 16 men will be competing next week to continue their quest to Be the Best.

Be the Best 2011 UpdateWeek 1 of the Be the Best qualifiers gave us shocks, spills and a huge return. With only two weeks remaining we also saw the importance of every match. Week 2 will be a big challenge for Williams as he faces Bockwinkel meanwhile Hart will look to get the full 2 points out of A.J. BLOCK D | Drake Fortune | Nick Jacobs | Evan Pagano | Jack Powers | SCORE | Drake Fortune | X | Week 3 | LOSS | Week 2 | 0 | Nick Jacobs | Week 3 | X | Week 2 | WIN | 2 | Evan Pagano | WIN | Week 2 | X | Week 3 | 2 | Jack Powers | Week 2 | LOSS | Week 3 | X | 0 |
BLOCK D SUMMARY: Block B already has two favourites battling it out over the top spot. With the returning Evan Pagano toppling current FUSE Champion and Jacobs earning a fluke win over Powers. Fortune and Powers can still win their group but their battle against each other next week will be vital to winning the Block. Group leaders will face off in a match which could put one competitor well into the lead.[/center]

Good show. Wonder who this outside talent is. Maybe a rematch with Quack? That would be pretty cool. Now with Pagano back, that could blow this whole tournament wide open. I was quite happy with all of the results, except I really think if you had Jordan Devine shockingly win his block, he would make a really great singles face, breaking free from RevX. That's probably out of the question now with a loss to a tag team competitor. This is a pretty good tournament, keep it up.

Again, I love that I'm in the hunt for the SNW Championship. Not too happy about the draw with Jason Williams, but I'm still hoping for either a Be The Best Tournament Win or at least a good showing. And of course, praying for a Hart/Bennett SNW Title match. Keep up the good work man, this is by far my favorite sign up ever.
Kevin Hart's SNW Record
Singles Record: 34-14-3
Tag Record: 17-19-1
Overall Record: 51-33-4

Ok, haven't replied in awhile. Lets see whats happening in the world of SNW! -Sad to see me lose, but I guess I'm not really credible. I did make it to the finals of the BOTB if I remember correctly though! Glad I put on good ol' wrasslin matches though. -Was cheering for Devine. Oh well, tournys not over yet! -Surprised at a Jason/Hart tie. I would've thought Hart going over would of been the smart move, but them both getting a point is good -Jacobs winning is the right call here. -Bock winning here is predictable. -Surprised that Evan won. Thought Drake would of won after the distraction from his manager. Overall a good show. A few things I disagreed with, but they were probably for the best, and me just nitpicking.

Wheelbarrows and WizardsBe the Best 2011 Qualifying Night 2S1) Enrique Rodriguez Jr and Ron Crockett vs. Christopher Kennedy Jones and Nick Lee Huntington: This match was the debut of two students. Both looked surprisingly decent although still pretty bad. Nick got the pin with a Superkick he calls North of the Border. S2) Riley Shamrock, Phenom and X Matt vs. Jet Jaguar, Cain Jackal and Zakk Static: A quite fun student 6-man tag. This felt a lot less crowded with everyone performing well. In the end Matt took out Cain with a dive and Riley looked like he would put away his rival Jet Jaguar until Zakk came in and stole the win with a Brainbuster. The main show then kicked off with “Invaders Must Die.” The ring announcer reminded the fans that all matches tonight will be Be the Best 2011 qualifiers; wins earn 2 points, draw earns 1 point and a loss gets nothing. 1) BLOCK C: Mike Bockwinkel vs. Jason Williams: Bock came out confidently knowing he could get the job done over Jason but he did not expect such a fight. As Bock lifted Jason up in a piledriver the entire arena lit up red. With Bock distracted Jason flipped up into a hurricanrana and stole the 2 points! SNW Champion, Ace Bennett walked to the ring. He said how much he is enjoying himself watching the competitors rip each other apart just to get a title shot against him. He sarcastically wished everyone luck and said he’s going to the back to get a manicure and pedicure. 2) BLOCK D: Evan Pagano vs. Nick Jacobs: The group leaders of Block D, a win here would make a distance between himself and the rest of the competitors. Once again Pagano was on top form, Jacobs couldn’t handle him and fell to the Calling. SNW World Champion, Ace Bennettt came out but not “cockily strutting” as usual instead he dragged his feet on the floor. He said he was forced to come out to make the following announcement by SNW management. Bennettt said he will be defending his title at the Be the Best iPPV in 5 weeks. As all SNW competitors are taking part in the Be the Best qualifiers he will face an outside competitor. More details will be announced on SNW’s website. 3) BLOCK A: Cody Rejero vs. Chris Hammers: One word to describe this match, short. Rejaro came out pumped up and ready for action, he even crushed his can of Pepsi on his forehead. But then Chris Hammers came out and killed him with a Lariat. Hammers put the full stop with a Last Minute Orders to get a quick 2 points. 4) BLOCK B: Jordan Devine vs. Jack Joseph: “The Flying Saint” was once again impressive but after suffering a loss last week Devine tried everything not to be on the losing side once more. Devine hit the Devinity but Jack jumped right back up to his feet and hit a Pele kick. Unluckily for Jack he could not get up after this due to a mixture of pain and exhaustion and Devine was just knocked out, meaning this ended in a double KO. Intermission. The ring announcer reminded the fans that the updated Blocks will be available on the SNW website following tonight’s show. 5) BLOCK C: A.J Matthews vs. Kevin Hart: Both men wanted the win in this bout after a loss and draw respectively last week. It was good back and forth action with both men looking like they could win at anytime. But after Hart’s 450 Splash A.J was out and Hart locked in the Sharpshooter just to make sure and he did earning himself 2 points. Evan Pagano came out in t-shirt and jeans. He thanked the crowd for being so welcoming last week when he returned to SNW. He thanked SNW for giving him this chance and said he will not fail. He was interrupted by Ace Bennettt who personally welcomed him back. Ace said he’s happy to have his “whipping boy” back after expelling him to Japan. 6) BLOCK D: Jack Powers vs. Drake Fortune: A good technical bout with all the action being contested on the matt. We haven’t really seen Fortune’s submissions skills yet but he showed he had some tonight. Powers had the 2 points in the bag with the Power Suplex but the man came out once again. Powers then got out of the ring and went after him but he took too long and was counted out giving rake the 2 points. In a DVD/YouTube exclusive we go backstage where the Fatality Squad are standing by. Thomas gets himself pumped up for his match against Edwards and tells Kagemann that he needs to win his match with Hogan tonight. 7) BLOCK A: Steven Kagemann vs. Mike Hogan: Great match due to the efforts of both men putting everything on the line for the 2 points. It looked like they would get counted out after a sick dive into the crowd by Kagemann. The match continued in the ring, Kagemann went for the Double Stomp but Hogan moved and swiftly hit the Futurism to get the 2 points. 8) BLOCK B: Henry Edwards vs. Bret Thomas: This hard-hitting contest was worthy of being the main event. One half of the Duos Champions, Bret Thomas showed his star quality in this match as he put on a great strong style match with Edwards. But in the end Edwards’ fire was too hot to handle and the HE Driver scored Edwards the win. Henry Edwards celebrated post match but still has to win next week to secure a place in the finals on iPPV. Then Steven Kagemann ran out and attacked Edwards upset over Edwards beating his tag partner. Bret Thomas then joined in on the beating. Ace Bennettt even came out to watch but Evan Pagano ran out and made the save sending the Duos champions to the back.
