Riot Act IVLive from the “FUSE Arena” only on Go Fight LiveWe cannot be sure of having something to live for unless we are willing to die for it- Che GuevaraIt’s SNW’s biggest show of the year and the fourth in the series of SNW’s summer spectacular, Riot Act. SNW has gone all out on production to make the FUSE arena look like a proper arena. There’s plenty of seating but all sold out. Riot Act posters are placed all around the arena and the merchandise table is stacked. A little addition to the show is the match listing’s which are placed on the walls around the arena. It tells the fans which order the matches go in but is mainly there to tell the fans that there will be two intermissions in tonight’s big event.
S1)
Travis Cantrell, X Matt and El Hijo de Angel Custodio vs. Cain Jackal, Christopher Kennedy Jones and Zakk Static: Six man action to get the crowd pumped for the iPPV from the students. The face team of Travis, Matt and El Hijo all go spotfest style in their offence. They get broken up when CKJ makes the tag to Jackal who uses his power to simply destroy all three men. Zakk gets the most heat when he enters mocking the fan favourites as he dishes out the punishment. The highflyers make a comeback and hit stero dives before Travis hits a SSP in the ring to pick up the win for his team.
S2)
Phenom vs. Zeke: This match really killed the crowd’s enthusiasm after such a hot student opener. Zeke and Phenom tried to make the match a stiff brawling contest but ended up boring the crowd. The fans began to boo both men as the match went on and this further hindered their performance. They cut down their match realising that it was failing and ended with a Trance Out for a rare win for Zeke.
Despite the bad match the crowd were back in full swing for the opening of the show. A video was shown showing past Riot Act events and highlighting the special guests, the wild angles and the amazing match-ups. There was then a hype video for the card on tonight’s show, calling this Riot Act the best yet and it seems to be right.
1)
AirDevils vs. Cody Rejaro and Jason Williams: The main show kicked off with four of SNW’s fastest wrestlers. The AirDevils are known as one of the fastest wrestlers on the planet while Williams just won “Best Highflyer” at the SNW awards so everyone knew this would be a fast paced spot fest. Right from the bell all four men began the fight eventually the referee brought order and kept to men in the ring. At first the Canadians took control isolating Clark from making the tag. Clark made the hot tag and Gerard knocked both of his opponents down with a double missile dropkick. The AirDevils then took control isolating Jason from making the tag. After some innovative offence Jason made the tag and Cody came in on fire. The finish came as Cody superkicked Clark so hard he leaped backwards on Jason’s shoulders which led into a Psycho Driver for the 3-count.
“Born to be Wild” played as Jason and Cody celebrated. They made their way around the ring celebrating with fans before heading to the back. Back in the ring Clark was upset with the loss. He asked why Gerard didn’t break up the count. Gerard explained that the last blow he took kept him down. Clark was upset and called his partner “pathetic” being leaving alone. Gerard looked worried at where his SNW career goes from here.
We then cut to backstage where FUSE Champion, Jack Joseph is hanging out with the New Age Lady Killers. Jack wishes the Lady Killers luck on winning the Duos titles. Sinn says it won’t be easy defeating Thomas and Kagemann but they will have nowhere to run as they’ll be attached to chains. Sinn says he would wish Jack luck for later on but he knows he doesn’t need it because he is talented enough. Jack thanks Sinn and walks off to prepare. Sinn turns to Parkland (who for once is acting serious) and they try to decide who will be chained to who in their Double Chain match.
2)
Trial 3: Jacob Ryler vs. Riley Shamrock: Riley becomes the first student to appear on the full iPPV as he has his third trial against former FUSE Champion Jacob Ryler. Although Ryler may be seen as lesser competition sometimes he certainly packed a punch against Riley. However the young Riley fought tooth and nail to get every piece of offence out to stun the more established wrestler. Ryler started to become confident that he could pull out a win and slowed down the pace. He methodically took apart Shamrock and utilised numerous submission holds. Riley fought back with a few kicks and followed this up with a jumping armbreaker. Ryler had a counter sorted out but was caught by surprise as Riley used Ryler’s own counter to lock in his Ode to Shamrock submission hold. Ryler had worn himself out too much being on the offence to move to the ropes and had no choice but to submit.
Riley was absolutely exhausted following his bout while Ryler regaining his breath. This was the first loss in the Student trials by a main roster member and Ryler was certainly shocked. Ryler got to his feet and offered to help Riley up. Ryler held up his opponents arm and congratulated him on the win.
Vincent Fury was backstage talking about all he has been through to get here in SNW. And now he’s here at Riot Act the biggest event of the year for SNW. He said it’s a big achievement for him but he’ll have another when tonight is over and that will be the destruction of SNW “homeboy” Jack Powers. Fury cryptically ended “the thing is Powers. If you play with fire, you’re going to get hurt”
3)
DUOS: Double Chain Match: The Fatality Squad vs. The New Age Lady Killers: The Lady Killers looked ready for a fight wearing jeans, they knew tonight would be an all out war. After Kagemann and Thomas had made their entrance the referee attached the chains to the competitors. Kagemann and Parkland were joined together while Thomas and Sinn were also chained around the wrist. The action kicked right off and within the first three minutes the first blood was spilled. Kagemann was busted open following punch after punch from a chained fist from Parkland. The next man busted open was Parkland after Kagemann used his own beer bottle against him, smashing it over his face! Sinn was next to be busted open following a collision with the steel ring post on the outside. The Fatality Squad were in full control after busting both men up and tried an ambitious move, this backfired as the Lady Killers yanked their chains sending both members of the Squad crashing out on the outside. The action split in half as Thomas locked Sinn in chain assisted camel clutch while Kagemann attempted to hang Parkland using the chain! Before Kagemann could keep Parkland hanging for too long Sinn saw his teammate in trouble and tapped out.
The referee’s were quick to stop Kagemann’s madness and save Parkland before any serious damage could be done. Despite their attempts Parkland looked injured and had to be carried out on a stretcher, Sinn was also badly beat up but refused medical attention as cared for his tag partner. Sickingly as the Fatality Squad celebrated to “Bulls on Parade” Kagemann leaned over the top rope and spat on Parkland who was laid out on the stretcher. Sinn saw this but was held back before he could re-enter the ring, despite Kagemann’s attempts to further annoy Sinn.
The first intermission of the night took place. There were a few special guests spotted such as Austin Aries, Alex Shelley and Mike Quackenbush. All who had just come just to watch their former students/opponents and promised the fans they weren’t here to get involved in any way. They are all here after last night’s awards ceremony and have been backstage all night but decided to come out during the break. There are also a few former SNW stars who also attended last night’s ceremony.
4)
Jack Powers vs. Vincent Fury: This feud came to a head tonight as the stalker-ish Vincent Fury promised to “burn” the technical wizard that is Jack Powers. What is meant by Fury’s cryptic clues no-one knew but everybody did know that Fury was going to give it his all against Powers. Previous matches between these two had been solely controlled by Powers but Fury was going move-for-move with Powers. The match worked well technically and was a refreshing change from the previous styles of matches. Fury attempted the Fury Strike numerous times throughout the match but Powers had it scouted and was able to take control after each counter. This physical game of chess took an interesting twist as the referee collided with Powers. A mysterious man decked out in half cut camo jeans ran out and distracted Powers. As Powers asked the man what he was doing out here the man threw a fireball into his face! Powers was rolling about in agony as Fury awoke the ref to make the 3 count.
“Wonderman” by Tinie Tempah hit the speakers as Fury celebrated. He then welcomed the fireball man into the ring to celebrate. As they left referee’s were checking on Powers and then later helped him backstage.
We then cut backstage to the locker room of Revolution X. Hammers is doing a game plan of tonight’s Warfare bout but Devine interrupts. Devine tells Hammers that his plan is useless, instead they should just train hard and be ready to fight. Hammers disagrees and tells Devine to listen to him. There is some tension in the air which Amy dispels. Hammers just tells Devine to stick with the plan and everything will go to plan.
5)
FUSE: Jack Joseph vs. A.J Matthews: AJ goes right on the attack. Aggressively charging at the “Flying Saint in the early goings. Jack used his speed to get away from the larger and much more powerful AJ. However Jack walked straight into a Lariat. From there on AJ continued his dominance using his size and strength to keep the advantage going. Jack made a comeback using his feet and toppled his opponent to the outside after a dropsault. Jack followed up with a tope con hilo but AJ caught him and transformed it into a running crucifix on the outside against the steel railings! Jack looked like he would get counted out but knowing that the title can’t change hands via countout he rolled Jack back in the ring. AJ then attempted to go high risk with a frog splash but Jack moved and was back up to his feet. Jack kept AJ at bay before unleashing the Pele Kick. Somehow AJ kicked out and brought the fight to Jack. AJ then attempted his Eastern Execution but Jack countered it while upside down into a small package. Another 2-count for Jack so he attempted another Pele only to be caught in a leg capture suplex. AJ then locked in the Fujiwara Armbar, or so he thought as Jack rolled out of it and hit another Pele Kick but AJ was still on his feet. A second Pele sent a shaky AJ down for the count giving Jack the win and another defence of his title.
“Break” by Three Days Grace plays as a weakened Jack celebrates. It’s a big win for the man who last night was voted “One to Watch” in the 2011 Sims Awards. He begins to celebrate before an irate AJ Matthews attacks Jack and lays him out with an Eastern Execution. AJ goes to leave then returns to the ring to lock in the Fujiwara Armbar. AJ keeps the hold locked in until staff and students come out to stop the attack. AJ goes to leave again but returns, instead of attacking he takes the FUSE Championship.
Two different clips are shown. They are of Mike Bockwinkel and Red Dragon getting ready for their match separately. Bockwinkel nervously speaks about why he will win tonight. As he speaks he seems like he is to convincing himself that he will win. Meanwhile in a separate locker room Red Dragon is exactly the opposite. Dragon sits alone solitary and in silence.

6)
Warfare IV: Revolution X vs. Kevin Hart, Mike Hogan and Evan Pagano: It was announced before the match that Revolution X had won the coin toss and will have the man advantage in Warfare.
Jordan Devine was the first man out for Revolution X accompanied by Amy Lee, while
Kevin Hart was the first man to represent his team. The action kicked off with some technical action with both men going to the ground to outwit their opponent with their submission expertise. When it became apparent that Hart had the advantage in the technical department Devine decided just to slam Hart into the steel. Amy cheered on from ringside as Jordan slammed Hart into the cage over and over again. Hart mounted a comeback and hit a drop toe hold on Devine then dropkicked Devine’s face into the cage!
Enter LyNN. The Nashville born Revolution X member made his way out and quickly took out Hart. As LyNN used up his energy taking out Hart, Devine recovered and soon joined in on the beating. LyNN and Devine then decided to continue Devine’s strategy of using the cage as a weapon as they threw Hart against the cage three times. The second time busting him open with a cut across the forehead.
Enter Evan Pagano. Pagano made a big entrance taking out both RevX members with a springboard clothesline. While the cage was open Amy tried to slide a chair in to aid her RevX comrades, however it was intercepted and Pagano was soon swinging for the fences with the chair as Amy had a tantrum on the outside. Pagano busted open LyNN with the chair after crushing his head between the cage and the chair with a wicked high dropkick.
Enter Chris Hammers. The Former two time SNW World Heavyweight Champion immediately made an impression taking out Pagano. Then the Irish man followed up with by taking out an already weakened Hart. RevX were back in control. LyNN went right after Pagano trying to bust him open in return for giving him a crimson mask. The match continued with Hammers nailing a Liger Bomb against the cage on Hart.
Enter Mike Hogan. The last competitor came running out wanting to aid his team but Amy Lee was standing in the way. Hogan nicely moved her aside but was met by a suicide dive through the cage door by Devine! RevX continued their dominance until Hart made a comeback, his inspirational effort inspired his teammates and they quickly turned the tables.
After a few minutes of control Pagano, Hart and Hogan all had their opponents down and decided to scale the cage. All three got to their feet on the top of the cage and looked around at the sold out FUSE arena before diving down onto their opponents. Pagano hit a big body splash off the top, Hogan nailed a senton but Hart took all the attention with a show stealing 450 Splash onto LyNN below.
LyNN eliminated. Hogan and Pagano went for the pin on their men but both kicked out. Hart looked absolutely beat after the dive since he took the most punishment thus far. Hammers and LyNN mounted a comeback which they were able to continue after Amy Lee slipped in a metal bar into the cage. When the referee saw this he told Amy Lee to go backstage to stop interfering.
After a metal bar shot and a Devinity on Hogan from Jordan the sides were even once again.
Mike Hogan eliminated. Despite the numbers now being even the match looked as handicap as it has been always been with Hammers and Devine teaming up on Pagano. Occasionally Jordan would come over and kick Hart as he lay broken and bleeding on the floor. Pagano started a comeback taking down both Hammers and Devine but this only fired up Hammers even more. Hammers first decapitated Pagano with a lariat, then hit a Liger Bomb before finishing off with a Last Minute Orders.
Pagano eliminated. The match looked already won for RevX as Hammers and Devine remained with only a beaten Hart in their way of winning Warfare IV. But Hart slowly fought his way back into the match taking out both men. Hart even managed to fire man’s carry lift Hammers on his shoulders and throw Hammers into the cage!
Hammers caught the side of his face on the cage ripping open a cut above his ear meaning that all three men were now bleeding. Hart battled back and took Devine out with a Sharpshooter.
Jordan Devine eliminated. The odds have now turned and as Devine was helped out of the cage, Hammers and Hart came face to face. They traded blows with the fans getting fully behind every strike. Despite Hammer’s powerful strikes Hart was giving as good as he got. Hart began a series of kicks sending Hammers back before hitting a Piledriver for what looked like would be the win. But Hammers got a leg on the rope. Even after pulling Hammers away from the ropes he was able to kick out. Hammers mounted a comeback and attempted a Last Minute Orders but Hogan reversed it into a strange and unique submission hold, a front face lock with body scissors and a kimura. Hammers was completely overwhelmed and looked like he could tap out any minute!
But meanwhile the crowd were mesmerised by the action in the ring a familiar face was marching towards the ring. He pushed aside the officials and referees that got in his way then ripped the cage door off. The intruder stomped on Hart releasing the hold then threw him up onto his shoulders for a Samoan Drop. Safu had returned! Safu continued the beat down throwing Hart into the cage and hitting a big corner kick against the cage. Hammers slowly got back up, propping himself in the corner and told Safu to finish him. Safu lifted Hart once again and brought him back to the ground with a Burning Hammer. Hammers then covered Hart to win the match.
Hart Eliminated.
As “Children of the Revolution” played Jordan, LyNN and Amy all returned to the ring. Safu threw Hart from the ring with ease as they all celebrated both their win and the successful return of Safu. Revolution X was back in full control. Amy handed Hammers the mic. “Tonight we see Revolution X at full health, at full power and full control. Now we are back, no-one can stop us. As the great Che said himself “In a Revolution, one triumphs or dies.” Tonight... we triumphed.”
The second Intermission took place. Revolution X all exited triumphantly while Kevin Hart was tended to by medical staff. Staff and students took down the steel structure while Hart continued to be treated in the ring. Mike Hogan came out to check on his friend before eventually Hart was carried to the back to a round of applause. With two matches to go it’s hard to see how SNW can top some of the last few matches.
A video played highlighting the feud long feud between, Mike Bockwinkel and Red Dragon. It showed their various meetings, both in and out of the ring. It said that tonight one will have their “greatest day” and the other will have their “biggest fall.”
7)
Contract vs. Mask: Mike Bockwinkel vs. Red Dragon: The match kicked off right away with both men going for strikes. They battled each other with hard hitting strikes already turning each other’s bodies red, within the first few minutes of the bout. Dragon took control from the brawl and started to control the bout, continuing the striking theme and keeping Bockwinkel down. Bockwinkel made a comeback using submissions to put himself in the dominant position. Dragon used some of his submissions skills to work his way out by twisting and turning but Bockwinkel was always one step ahead ready to lock in another. Dragon finally got out of a modified tazmission attempt and hit a hard hitting dropkick to Bock’s head. The impact sent Bockwinkel falling to the outside. Dragon had his plan set out and set off into the ropes then came crashing into Bockwinkel after a dive over the top rope. Dragon continued with his strikes giving the fans a close up shot of the blows. Back in the ring Dragon attempted a big diving cross body which was reversed by Bockwinkel and powered through into a fall away slam. The action continued with Bockwinkel taking control, slowly taking apart Dragon, not focusing on any particular body part instead planning to dish out as much punishment as possible. Bockwinkel’s first Bockwinkel Special attempt was countered quite athletically by Dragon into a hurricanrana earning him not just a two count but the momentum of the match. Dragon continued his control of the match until Bockwinkel took the easy way out and went to exit! Dragon chased after him but it was a trap as Bockwinkel attacked then threw Dragon into the steel ring post. After throwing Dragon back in the ring, Bockwinkel started to un-do Dragon’s mask which was swiftly stopped by the referee. After being warned by the referee he walked right into an enziguri and a roll up for another 2-count. Dragon pulled Bockwinkel to his feet and hit the Red Dragon Driver! Bockwinkel kicks out and two and continues the match. Dragon immediately goes for another only for Bock to counter into a German suplex. Dragon brought the fight right back to Bockwinkel with a saito suplex but Bockwinkel found the fighting power and pulled out a belly to belly suplex. The fans were eating up this suplex attempt which ended after an attempted snap suplex from Dragon which Bock reversed by powering Dragon into the corner. Unluckily the referee was behind Dragon and got crushed between the two. Dragon seized the opportunity and hit a quick springboard kick keeping Bock down. As Dragon tried to wake the referee Bockwinkel sneaked up on Dragon to hit a low blow. Exiting to the outside, Bockwinkel grabbed a chair and entered back into the ring ready to use it. Bockwinkel came face-to-face with Dragon and pulled the chair back ready to hit him. Then Bockwinkel changed his mind and threw the chair from the ring! Everyone was confused and could see Dragon ask him why he did that for as the two continued their stare down. Just over the roar of the crowd you could hear Bock say, “Because when I beat you, I don’t want you to have any excuses” The two then went blow-for-blow one more time throwing fist after fist at each other. Two roaring elbows gave Dragon the lead to lift Bock in the Red Dragon Driver, Bockwinkel reversed Bockwinkel Special: Championship Addition, Dragon rolls through, takes down Bockwinkel and locks in the Welsh Death Lock! Bockwinkel is screaming in agony and looks like he might tap out! Bockwinkel turns it over and releases the hold. They both get back to their feet as Bock attempts another Piledriver hold only for Dragon to charge him into the corner just like earlier. Dragon lifts Bock to the middle ropes and attempts a superplex, a few strikes to the stomach and his attempt is stopped. Dragon now tries a hurricanrana from the top but Bockwinkel battles out again. Is it third time lucky for Dragon as he goes for the Red Dragon Driver off the top rope but its stopped again. Bockwinkel has control, tucks Dragon’s head between his legs and dives off the top, Bockwinkel Special from the middle ropes! Dragon crashes down onto his neck and Bockwinkel lands on top of him. The referee still feeling the effects from the collision makes a slow count but Bockwinkel still gets the three-count.
“Sharply Dressed Man” plays as the crowd get to their feet in a standing ovation. They know they’ve seen an awesome match here tonight. Both men take ages to get to their feet but as Bockwinkel does he calls for the music to stop and a microphone. Bockwinkel tells Dragon (slumped in the corner) to hand over what is now is, his mask. Dragon slowly gets up and looks around like he might disobey his order but Bockwinkel adds, “Hey don’t back out now. You agreed to this. You preach about honour, pride and doing the right thing. I played by your rules tonight. I could have used that chair. Do what is right!” Dragon bows his head and starts to and do the ties on the back once complete he looks over to Bockwinkel who is waiting for the mask. Dragon then takes off the mask and hands it over to Bockwinkel who accepts it with open hands. Dragon keeps his head bowed, looking at the floor and sombrely leaves. Back in the ring Bockwinkel orders his music to be re-played as he places the mask on his hand and celebrates his new “trophy.”
We see another video, this time highlighting the feud between the current reigning SNW World Heavyweight Champion, Ace Bennett and the challenger and former two time SNW World Heavyweight Champion. It highlights both men’s careers in SNW from the time they first stepped inside a SNW ring. It show’s their title wins and most specifically the events that led to Edwards dropping his belt down to injury. It crunches the numbers showing how important this match is in deciding who the greatest SNW World Champion is and how this is Edwards’ last chance at the title. While all these clips are show parts of sit down interviews between the two competitors are shown. The end has many different SNW wrestlers, former SNW wrestlers and guests such as Shelley, Quackenbush and Aries all making their predictions. The biggest comes from the rarely seen SNW owner Marc Ryland predicting “despite SNW’s rich history, with so much on the ling tonight, this truly is SNW’s biggest every match.”
8)
SNW: Ace Bennett vs. Henry Edwards: The match kicked off with Edwards pouncing on the MVP of 2011. Edward tried for early submission holds but couldn’t manage to lock one in successfully. Ace rolled away and got back to his feet. Edwards went in at Ace again but Ace had it scouted, he nailed a knee to the face inside a cravat hold before sending Edwards to the ground. Ace then tried his own submissions but Edwards played up the defence. As Ace went for a Sharpshooter Edwards shook free and kicked Ace in the head. Edwards got quickly back to his feet as the two circled once more. They both went in for the takedown before rolling over one another trying to maintain the advantage. Edwards got the advantage and took control of Ace with some fists from close range. So far the bout had a MMA feel as Edwards went for a leg lock, Ace wiggled his way out before jumping onto the floored Edwards. Ace then tried for an Armbar before Edwards got to his feet and kicked Ace on the floor. Back to their feet Edwards let his striking power give him the advantage. Edwards backed Ace off into the corner before delivering elbows. The referee pulled Edwards from the corner who then charged at the opposing ropes and right at Ace. Ace ducked lifting him over the top rope and onto the apron. Ace’s punch was a swing and a miss while Edwards followed with a leaping kick to Ace’s face. Ace fell into the centre of the ring as Edwards went up top. Edward dove off but was caught with a dropkick, a pin followed but only a two count. Ace then lifted Edwards to his feet and hit a scoop slam followed by a Senton, another pin and another near fall. Ace kicked at Edwards as he pushed him towards the rope before whipping him into the ropes. Ace hit the floor and Edwards ran over him, Ace then jumped and Edwards went under him but in the final run Edwards took Ace down with a shoulder tackle. Ace leaped back up and Edwards went back into the ropes. Another shoulder tackle led to Ace being on the floor once more. A third attempt at the shoulder block led to a drop toe hold reversal followed into a Surfboard. Edwards countered the tricky submission into a modified Muta Lock. Ace easily countered since he had adapted the Muto Lock to use as his own. Back on their feet Edwards continued the control with some elbows, before Ace surprised Edwards with a dropsault. Edwards staggered back and fell to one knee, Ace saw the perfect opportunity for a Shinning Wizard but Edwards was well aware of this catching Ace, turning and hitting a Powerbomb into the corner. Ace clasped into the bottom corner and Edwards hit a face wash. The fans loved Edwards making Ace taste his boot. Edwards then took Ace into the middle of the ring and hit a Spinebuster, the pin led to a 2-count. Back on their feet, Ace caught Edwards off guard and he tumbled through the ropes to the outside. Ace set off into the ropes looking for a dive but was caught in between the ropes in an attempt of a suicide dives by a wicked half Pele kick. Edwards climbed the apron and pulled Ace through the ropes to join him. An attempted Suplex to the floor was blocked in mid-air with a knee to the head while upside down. Ace then teased a fireman’s carry lift but Edwards elbowed Ace in the ear to counter. After a few strikes Edwards took the advantage and told fans in the front rows to move. Edwards German Suplexed Ace into the fourth row! Ace eventually got back to his feet but was taken down by Edwards who had hit the Suicide dive from the ring into the crowd where Ace was standing. Edwards emerged from the crowd triumphant as Ace already looked beat. Edward then dumped Ace over the barricade then went over himself. Ace propped himself in the corner and Edwards ran at him handspringing to hit the Fatal Impact instead Ace moved and Edwards met the steel barricade. Back in the ring Ace got a close count. Ace continued the momentum with a head kick followed by a Sole Food. An exhausted Ace rolled to the apron and set up a springboard. Ace flew into the ring in a springboard frogsplash earning another close count. Edward striked back and hit a Rolling Elbow sending Ace loopy. Edwards then hit a Brainbuster then followed it up with another before finishing with a Suplex pin. Ace kicked out and Edwards tried the combo again but this time Ace jumped out of the hold while upside down, as he fell back down he caught Edwards expertly in a small package for another close call. Ace raised to his feet and ran at the kneeling Edwards hitting a Shinning Wizard, this time successfully for yet another close call. Ace then pulled the larger Edwards to the Corner, possibly for the Syracuse Dropped. Edwards countered by holding on as Ace backflipped hitting the floor. Ace got back up and went back up top trying to hit the Syracuse Dropped, he tried once again only for Edwards to pull Ace off his shoulders and lock the Crossface in, on the tope rope! The referee made the count and Edwards released. He got to his feet and deadlifted Ace up hitting a huge Backdrop Driver off the top rope. Edwards took a while getting the pin and only got another 2 count. Back to his feet Edwards went for the HE Driver only for Ace to float over and hit a midair neckbreaker. Ace followed up by going up top waiting for Edwards to get up. Ace flew off and hit a flawless missile dropkick Masato Yoshino style. Ace attempted to follow up with the Muto lock but Edwards reversed after a few transitions Edwards locked in the Crossface. Ace broke the hand clasp and rolled up, Ace then struck the still floored Edwards with a soccer punt right to the face! A pin count and Edwards got an arm up while still holding his face from the kick. Ace attempted another Syracuse Dropped, putting Edwards on the top and jumping to his shoulders. Ace hit the Syracuse Dropped well but Edwards landed on his feet to finish, he picked up Ace and threw him across the ring in a full nelson suplex. Edwards chased after him and pulled him into the ring for HE Driver. Edwards hit it and went after the pin, Ace kicked out and Edwards was in disbelief. Edwards tried for another but Ace spun around on the lift before jumping off his feet and catching Edward in the back of his head with a boot. Edwards collapsed into the ropes and Ace charged, Edwards lifted taking Ace to the apron. A fist sent Edwards into the middle as Ace springboarded in. Edwards caught him and hit a quick Powerslam straight into a pin. Ace kicked out once again but was pulled up to his feet for the HE Driver Ace jumped over him and locked up the legs and locked the Muta Lock straight in. Edwards slowly climbed towards the ropes with the full weight on Ace on his back. Ace pulled Edward back to the middle of the ring looking to lock it in again, but Edwards turned over putting pressure on Ace’s knees before releasing the hold. Both men staggered to their feet and traded blows, back and forth, back and forth until Ace pushed Edwards into the corner and hit a LungBlower. Edwards fell back into the corner and Ace went to lift him back onto the top rope, Edwards fought off reversing positions and booting Ace in the head. Edwards walked off to the opposite corner and hit a perfect Fatal Impact. The impact of the blow sent Ace staggering into the middle of the ring, perfect set up for HE Driver which Edwards hit and went for the pin. 1..2..no Ace got an arm up! Edwards quickly grabs the arm and flips a prone Ace over locking in the Crossface. Edwards continued to pile on the pressure as the fans watched on with eyes glued to the action. After attempting to pull himself near the ropes and teasing tapping out Ace finally gave in and tapped at 52:03 to become the 8th SNW World Heavyweight Champion.
Henry Edwards had done it, he’d ended the reign of Ace Bennett to become the new SNW World Heavyweight Champion. The fans were on their feet not just for the title change but also the great bout to end a stellar night. Edwards pulled himself to his feet and was obviously in great pain. He was awarded the SNW World Heavyweight Championship and celebrated. Meanwhile Ace rolled to the floor clutching his arm, he looked in jealous at the new champion. All the faces from SNW then came out to congratulate Edwards, put him on his shoulders and shower him in champagne. “The Trooper” played triumphantly as Edwards ended the PPV showing off his new title.
