First of all, I apologize for the lateness of the reply, and second, sorry if this reply is a little short. I'm somewhat lost. Riot Act was a huge write up and a good show as well. Good way to kick off the show with a highflying tag team match. The finish worked perfectly. The Warfare IV was decent, a little too much detail imo but still readable. Nice to see Safu return! Bockwinkel getting the win was somewhat surprising, but I could see this being the beginning of a new character for Red Dragon. We'll just have to wait and see. Massive main event, not too happy that Ace Bennett lost the belt but a good match nevertheless. Overall a good show, but some of the match write ups could be a tad shorter. Other than that, I have no issues! Good to see this last so long and next time I'll leave a much better reply.

Student NightThe show kicked right off with the introduction of all ten students. They all entered the ring and got varying amounts of reaction from the crowd. Current SNW Owner Marc Ryland then came out with the Students Cup. An official picture was taken of all the competitors with the cup before they all left for backstage. The ring announcer went over the rules and the three rounds of the tournament. The matches would have a 20 minute time limit in the first round, a 30 minute time limit in the second round and no time limit in the final round. Since there are 10 students one will get an automatic bye into the finals from the first round. To earn the automatic bye you must beat your first round opponent in the shortest time possible. 1) Round 1: Cain Jackal vs. El Hijo de Angel Custodio: The match was a complete mismatch with the power of Jackal facing the speed of El Hijo. El Hijo went for a top rope Spanish Fly only to be shoved off and hit with a diving Spear to put the Mexican away at 13:23Following the bout Cain Jackal had an post match interview. He said that he has been the most dominant in SNW as of late and that’s why he will win the trophy. Jackal’s promo’s are decent at best. 2) Round 1: Phenom vs. Riley Shamrock: This match was a real hard hitter, possibly the best we’ve seen from Phenom. Riley went at him strike-for-strike and always looked the better man. So it was no surprise seeing Phenom tap to the Ode to Shamrock in a great time of 8:023) Round 1: Zakk Static vs. X Matt: Matt was really up for this match and the enthusiasm he had was unparallel in any other competitor on the card. Zakk was the opposite and played it cool keeping to a game-plan of exiting to the outside and striking only when the time was right. The plan worked as Zakk struck a quick Brainbuster to advance to the next round. However he failed to beat the time finishing up after 18 minutes of action. Following the match, Zakk took to the mic. He berated all the other competitors, individually picking their faults before moving onto the crowd to draw even more heat. Zakk is easily the best at promos in the student division, he could teach the main roster a thing or two. 4) Round 1: Christopher Kennedy Jones vs. Travis Cantrell: These two rivals faced off in the first round but only one could go through. Travis impressed with his high flying arsenal but managed not to look as one dimensional as he has had in the past. CKJ was decent but was overshadowed by Travis. Travis’ SSP got him the win but failed to get the quickest time as he put Jones away after 15 minutes. Travis was quick to exit the ring before CKJ could do anything. He was blaming everyone but himself for the loss, from the referee to the crowd. He stormed to the back as the crowd mocked him. CKJ can do a good promo. 5) Round 1: Jet Jaguar vs. Zeke: Jaguar was once again on top form, Zeke could hardly get a move in. This reinforces the idea that Jaguar is ready to join the main roster despite being the youngest student. Zeke couldn’t handle Jaguar and ended up being pinned after a KO style head kick in a super quick time of 7:33. Meaning that Jet Jaguar gets the automatic bye into the finals. Intermission. The talk among the fans is a predicated win for Jet Jaguar to bring him into the main roster. He looked the most professional out of all the competitors tonight, followed by Shamrock and Static. All the fans seem happy with tonight’s show so far, especially since the ticket prices were reduced as it was an all student show. 6) Round 2: Cain Jackal vs. Riley Shamrock: The first match back following intermission was a good one. Jackal was aggressive right from the start while Riley went more tactical. Cain looked like he had it won several times but fan favourite Riley always got out. Jackal was very hard hitting but Riley would always strike back as hard. As the match went on Jackal began to tire, since he had a longer match than Riley earlier on. Riley saw this and attacked, earning himself a spot in the finals with the punishing submission, Ode to Shamrock. 7) Round 2: Zakk Static vs. Travis Cantrell: This match was a really good bout with Zakk working over Cantrell but the highflyer not giving in. Zakk piled on the punishment and locked in submissions but Travis would not give in. Travis had his moments of offence which almost caught Zakk off guard several times including a sly small package. Travis got his leg on the rope following one Brainbuster so Zakk hit another to earn himself the win. Although time now doesn’t matter the match finished at 26 minutes and was easily the best match we’ve seen from either man. The main event was up next as all three finalists made their way out. First out was the fresh, Jet Jaguar entering to "El Distorto de Melodica" by Everclear. Next out was Riley Shamrock, who already looked quite beat up entering to ‘Slowride’ by Foghat. Last up was Zakk Static, looking exhausted and physically beat. Entering to ‘For the Radio’ by Dead Season. They had one official final photo before the match got underway. 8) Final: Jet Jaguar vs. Riley Shamrock vs. Zakk Static: The story of the match was that Jaguar was the more dominant since he was the least fatigued after only having one match tonight. Zak and Riley did get their offence but Jaguar had the most. Jaguar walked the line between face and heel, sometimes hitting big spots for the crowd amusement then mocking fan favourite Riley as he beat him down. The match continued as Jaguar failed to put either man away and gave more chances away to the other competitors. All three men it their finishers as they attempted to win the match but all were broken up, the Ode to Shamrock looked like it had won it for Riley but it was broken but by Jaguar. Jaguar later hit his second T.T.M this time on Riley, he thought it must be it as he covered Shamrock. Two seconds later Zakk charged in and booted Riley in the temple. Zakk lifted him up and hit a sudden Brainbuster, which not only earned him the win but also the Student Trophy. Following the bout, Zakk was exhausted. He had gone though the most tonight after punishing long matches from X Matt and Cantrell in the first and second rounds respectively. Nobody came out to celebrate with him as nobody likes him. Instead he took the mic and cut a promo telling everyone that he proved them wrong. Not just the crowd but everyone who ever told him he would never amount to anything.

Clash of the Duos 2011 Update Live from the “Hammerstein Ballroom” in New York 5 Weeks Away
Following SNW’s special student event we announce the first three teams to be selected to compete in the Clash of the Duos tournament 2011.
The Current SNW Duos Champions The first team in SNW tag team tradition is the reigning SNW Duo Champions. However this does not mean that the spot will go to the Fatality Squad, Steven Kagemann and Bret Thomas since they may not be champions when Clash of the Duos roll round in 5 weeks time. SNW officials have made it clear that there will be 2 Duos titles defences before Clash of Duos meaning that the Fatality Squad could lose their titles before then. For now the spot belongs to Kagemann and Thomas but if they lose the title, they could also lose their spot. Can the Fatality Squad keep the belts and go onto win Clash of the Duos? Odds: Unknown
New Age Lady Killers: Daniel Sinn & Drew Parkland 2009- Clash of the Duos Winners 2010- Clash of the Duos Winners “The boys are back in town.” Although they enter to this fun rocky theme and their other have mad cap antics when Clash of the Duos roll around there isn’t anything more serious that a pair of Lady Killers. These two are the favourites to take the tournament. Although they come off multiple big losses to the reigning champions they were in the same position last year and walked away with the belts for a second time. Could these two do the impossible and win the Duos titles for a fourth time and win the Clash of the Duos three times in a row? Odds: 1:2
Cody Rejero & Jason Williams 2009- Eliminated in the Round of 16 (Jason only) 2010- Eliminated in Quarter-Finals Next up, a shock choice to be confirmed so early on in the announcements for Clash of the Duos 2011. Cody and Jason have never really had that much success in SNW. Aside from the odd win their two lost souls were destined to job to the stars. That is of course, when they’re not teamed together. Since they began teaming, the Canadians have picked up some vital wins. Most recently on the Riot Act IV iPPV over the AirDevils, this win confirmed to SNW that the “King of Pepsi” and SNW’s ariel expert deserved a spot in the tournament. Can they go all the way and become the underdog champions? Odds: 1:10
Motor City Machine Guns: Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley 2009- Eliminated in Finals The first of the outside teams has now been announced and the team is none other than the boys from the Motor City, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. Shelley’s roots lay in SNW as alongside Austin Aries he helped train the first classes of students. Shelley has returned several times to SNW and many times he has brought Chris Sabin. The most notable time is at the first Clash of the Duos Event in 2009, in which the Guns ran through three teams before being slain by the Lady Killers in the final. After missing out last years event the Guns return with one thing on their mind. To win SNW’s Clash of the Duos, they have the skills and the experience but can they do it? Odds: 1:3

Family ReunionSNW has promised a good show after taking one week off, allowing the students to step in. Tonight’s show has two title matches booked and 8 matches on the main card despite missing the New Age Lady Killers, Jack Joseph and Jack Powers after injuries following Riot Act IV. S1) Travis Cantrell and El Hijo de Angel Custodio vs. Cain Jackal and Christopher Kennedy Jones: Decent enough tag match, the faces were flying high while Cain looked like a monster. CKJ continues to unimpress. A Spanish Fly earns El Hijo the win for his team. S2) X Matt vs. Phenom vs. Zakk Static vs. Zeke: A basic student four-way. Student cup winner Zakk and Matt held the match together as the others fell apart. Zakk continues his run of wins with a Brainbuster. Revolution X makes their way out and for the first time in 9 months they are a 4 man group again, since Safu returned from injury at Riot Act IV. Hammers took the mic and said that the family is back together again, he hinted at allowing a new addition into the group. 1) Revolution X vs. Mike Hogan and Jacob Ryler: RevX were represented by LyNN and Devine, sadly they still don’t have much chemistry between them. A good enough tag match with Devine shinning through hitting the Devinity on Ryler to win. The new team of the Fire and the Fury, Johnny Arsenic and Vincent Fury made thier way to the ring. Fury introduced Arsenic for those who missed their video on SNW’s website. They said they were here to make Jack Power’s life hell and go after the Duos titles. 2) Johnny Arsenic vs. Jet Jaguar: Both men were making their official debuts since Jaguar has only competed in trial matches but now he is an official full time roster member. Arsenic had a good showing and dominated the former student finishing him off with a Dishonorable Discharge. The team of Jason Williams and Cody Rejero were backstage. Jason seemed quite serious saying that the team is picking up steam and is challenging for the Duos titles soon. Cody was joking around and spilt some Pepsi. Jason finished the promo and walked off but slipped on the Pepsi. 3) Evan Pagano vs. A.J Matthews: AJ brought out the FUSE title he stole from Jack Joseph. This was a really good match and showcased both men’s abilities. Although it has been 2 weeks since Riot Act some of the effects of Warfare seemed apparent on Pagano. This may be the reason why A.J scored a shock upset hitting an Eastern Execution to win. Ace Bennett came out to the ring looking pretty sombre. He said that his waist feels bare and he feels incomplete without the belt. He then snapped at the crowd, mocking them before claiming he would win back the title at whatever costs. 4) Trial 4: Riley Shamrock vs. Safu: This is to be Riley’s last trial match and is likely to join the roster right away but Safu absolutely killed him tonight. Safu’s first match in 9 months had him fired up from start to finish. After both a Samoan Drop and a Burning Hammer Safu pinned the student. Intermission. Many of the fans are disappointed with the action so far. Only one above average match in the first half but with two title matches still to go the quality looks to pick up from here. 5) Chris Hammers vs. Kevin Hart: A really good match to start off but as the match wore on it was clear that Hart hadn’t recovered fully from Warfare, he just wasn’t at 100%. Hammers took advantage and finished him off at the 25 minute mark with a Last Minute Orders. Hammers took the mic post match as Hart was helped to the back. Safu, Devine and LyNN all joined Hammers and Amy in the ring. Hammers said the family were re-united and tonight they have proven that nothing will stop them. 6) DUOS: Fatality Squad vs. RockNES Monsters: Challenging for the Duos titles were the RockNES monsters, Yuma and Goodtime who have been putting on good performances in PWG recently. They put up a good fight against the Squad. Yuma in particular took some big bumps including the Fall/Double Stomp combo which retained the belts for the champs. Post match, the Fatality Squad went to add to their statement already made by hitting another Fall/Double Stomp combo but Jason and Cody ran out to scare the champions off. Jason motioned for the belts around his waist while Cody checked on Yuma. 7) SNW: Henry Edwards vs. Mike Bockwinkel: Former SNW Champion, Bockwinkel was handed the task of dethroning the recently crowned 3x SNW World Champion. Bock earned the right to challenge for the title following his big win over Dragon at Riot Act. Bock put his all into the match and provoked the champion to step it up. Both men wrestled both on the mat and standing with strikes and t served to be a treat to watch. Edwards barley got the win following a counter from the Bockwinkel Special into a quick pin attempt. Following the match Bockwinkel was rightfully annoyed since he got very close to winning the belt. Edwards told him that he’d be happy to accept a re-match and went to help him up. Bockwinkel refused, exiting the ring but nodding his head to show that the rematch is on.

Clash of the Duos 2011 UpdateLive from the “Hammerstein Ballroom” in New York 4 Weeks AwayFollowing SNW’s most recent show “Family Reunion” we announce the next four teams to be selected to compete in the Clash of the Duos tournament 2011. Revolution X1: Chris Hammers & Jordan Devine 2009- Eliminated in Semi-Finals (Hammers Only) 2010- Eliminated in FinalsThe first team announced in this update is the ever strong and ever present, Revolution X. Representing Revolution X1 will be the first ever SNW World Champion and leader of RevX Chris Hammers and his second in command, Jordan Devine. These two make a strong team, just ask all the wrestlers they have beaten. Back at Clash of the Duos 2010 this team went all the way to the finals, this year they look to go that one step more and win the entire tournament. The previous year, in 2009 Hammers went all the way to the Semi’s which is impressive considering his partner was his long term rival, Henry Edwards. At least this year Hammers gets a partner he can trust. Odds: 1:4Revolution X2: Safu & LyNN2009- Eliminated in Quarter-FinalsThe second Revolution X team follows the first but that Hammers has made it clear that it doesn’t mean team 1 is better, “Revolution X is unstoppable, at Clash of the Duos both RevX teams will go all the way to the finals and then we’ll decide who the better team is. Neither man competed in the tournament last year due to Safu’s injury but back in 2009 they made it to the Quarter-Finals. With Safu fresh off injury he looks more monstrous than ever, along with LyNN these two could go far in the Clash of the Duos 2011. Odds: 1:4Fire and the Fury: Johnny Arsenic & Vincent FuryThe next team announced may seem like an odd choice to some but it is due to their impact they have caused since arriving that has caused them to earn a spot so early on in the announcements. Fury made an immediate impact in SNW targeting Jack Powers to blame for all the bad luck he has had in recent years. After a series of brawls they met in sanctioned matches and that’s where Fury’s partner comes in, the “Fire” to his “Fury” Johnny Arsenic. Arsenic threw a fireball in Powers’ face and put him out of action. Although, it is early days yet for this team, we suspect they will lower their odds in the next few weeks. Odds: 1:18Lightning Calling: Evan Pagano & Mike QuackenbushThe final team in tonight’s update is the return of a former SNW World Champion, Mike Quackenbush returns to SNW to re-form his partnership with SNW’s own Evan Pagano, Lightning Calling. The team racked up a few big wins when they have teamed together in both SNW and Chikara. They have challenged unsuccessfully for both the Duos titles and the Campeonatos de Parejas. The strangest fact learnt from this write up is that despite being one of the original 16 members of SNW, this will be Evan Pagano’s first Clash of the Duos event. How will these two do in such unfamiliar surroundings? Odds: 1:10

Anyways you're still putting on good shows and my feud with Sinn and Parkland is pretty awesome, nice details and I like that he tapped because I was hanging him, very intriguing.

Guts and GloryS1) Travis Cantrell vs. Phenom: A basic student bout to kick off, Cantrell wow’ed with his highflying while Phenom stuck to the ground. Cantrell won following a standing SSP. S2) El Hijo de Angel Custodio vs. Cain Jackal: This was your basic speed vs. power match which both men pulled off pretty well. El Hijo got a surprise win following an Ultra Hurricanrana. However, post match Jackal attacked. The main show then started with the announcement that the New Age Lady Killers and Jack Powers are still unable to compete and so, are not in the building. There was some hype surrounding the main event Duos titles bout. 1) Revolution X vs. Jet Jaguar, Riley Shamrock and AirDevils: Absolute squash, as much as the face team tried RevX crewed them up and spat them straight back out. Hammers finished off with the pin for his team. Following the bout, Hammers took the mic and once again proclaimed that RevX was the strongest team in Pro Wrestling. He handed the mic to Devine who talked about ‘Clash of the Duos’, where both RevX teams would do well. 2) Trial 1: Zakk Static vs. Matt Spade: It was the first trial bout of the 2011 Student Trophy holder and it turned out to be a pretty good match. Static nearly stole the win but Spade hit a small package for the 3-count. We go backstage where Carson Clark and Tom Gerard are arguing. Clark says that the two are failures and should split, giving the example of how Bennett split from the American Airforce led to his rise. Gerard tries to calm down Clark saying that he got the team a spot in the Clash of Duos. Still annoyed Clark said they will be eliminated in the first round and when they do then the AirDevils are no more. 3) Johnny Arsenic vs. Jacob Ryler: Once again Arsenic was put over with Fury at ringside. Ryler did his job well of putting over Arsenic who finished off with a Dishonorable Discharge. After the match, Fury and Arsenic started beating on Ryler. Arsenic held up a lighter signalling the fireball which put Jack Powers out injured. However, Jet Jaguar ran out and chased the team off. 4) FUSE: Jack Joseph vs. Rich Swann: The one word to describe this match is spotfest, but it was the most entertaining spotfest I have ever seen. Crazy spot after crazy spot led to a Pele on the turnbuckle! Swann fell back into the ring and Jack came down hard with a Frogsplash elbow to retain. Jack celebrated his defence of his title but remained angry at the fact that he didn’t have the actual title. The man in possession of the title, AJ Matthews ran out and smacked Jack in the back of the head with the belt. AJ then posed over Jack and left, once again with the title on his shoulder. Intermission. Big hype surrounding the main event, some are expecting an upset win for Jason and Cody. They definitely have the support in the building tonight. 5) Ace Bennett and Mike Bockwinkel vs. Henry Edwards and Kevin Hart: A top quality match to bring the crowd back from intermission. Could easily have main evented any night, the action was off the charts with all four men having alterations. Bennett threw himself into a Suicide Dive onto Edwards while in the ring a fatigued Hart fell to a Bockwinkel Special: Championship Edition. Ace and Mike celebrated making their exit while Edwards checked back on Hart in the ring. Bennett did a title motion around his waist towards Edwards which upset Bockwinkel. Bock shoved Ace and motioned that he’d get the title next. The two shoved each other at the entrance as Edwards and Hart watched in amusement. Bock kicked Ace between his legs and laid him out on the floor with a BS: Champ Edition. 6) A.J Matthews vs. Evan Pagano: The fans wanted it and they got it, in a rematch from last week these two faced off once more but Pagano looked hungrier for the victory. Another good quality match and one of AJ’s best in SNW. The match ending was ruined as Jack came out to take back his belt, this distracted AJ leading to a Calling from Pagano for the win. 7) DUOS: Fatality Squad vs. Jason Williams and Cody Rejero: A top quality main event match for the Duos titles. Plenty of near-falls and kick outs which proved Jason and Cody had what it took to become Duo Champions. Although usually comical Cody played a serious role right from the start. Both Jason and Cody took some big bumps including Kagemann’s Corkscrew to the outside which took out Jason. Cody was left with Thomas and fell to the Fall giving the Squad another title defence. The champions celebrated over their challengers bodies. Thomas took the mic and said that since they joined in SNW they have been unstoppable. They’ve taken on the best SNW has to offer like Jason and Cody, the best outside talent has to offer like last week and the supposed “Best tag team ever” in the New Age Lady Killers. Thomas questioned whether ‘Clash of the Duos’ was really needed, since they have already proven they are the greatest.

Clash of the Duos 2011 UpdateLive from the “Hammerstein Ballroom” in New York 3 Weeks AwayFollowing SNW’s most recent show “Guts and Glory” we announce the next four teams to be selected to compete in the Clash of the Duos tournament 2011. Fatality Squad: Bret Thomas & Steven Kagemann 2009- Eliminated in Round of 16 (Separate teams)As previously announced the holders of the SNW Duos championships will be in the Clash of Duos tournament. It looked like the Fatality Squad would get the Clash of the Duos place since they were champions but had to defend their titles twice before they could move onto the biggest night in the Duos calendar. Now Kagemann and Thomas look prepared and focused to do what every other reigning team has failed to do when walking into Clash of Duos and that’s to walk out with the belts. Currently they have 6 title defences in their reign of terror but if they win Clash of Duos they will not just win the trophy but also have another 4 title defences to add to their reign. The bond between these two is like non-other. First friends, then rivals, then friends, then rivals and now the Duos champions. With such a strong win streak as a team since re-teaming these two have got to be one of the favourites going in. Odds: 1:3AirDevils: Tom Gerard & Carson Clark 2009- Eliminated in Round of 16 2010- Eliminated in Quarter-FinalsThe AirDevils have never really broken out. Originally named the American Airforce, Gerard teamed with the now former SNW World Champion, Ace Bennett in a less than successful tag team. However, Ace’s break from the group led to his rise and now Clark finds himself in the same position. Although they are known as the fastest team in pro wrestling they can’t seem to win, always falling to bigger opponents. Clark has now given Gerard an ultimatum, start winning or the team is finished. Now the need for a win is higher than ever and it all comes down to Clash of the Duos. The AirDevils need a good performance otherwise their through and Gerard will need to look for a new partner once again. Odds: 1:12Kevin Hart & Mike Hogan2009- Eliminated in Quarter-Finals (Hart Only) 2010: Eliminated in Qualifiers (Hart Only)On paper the team of Hart and Hogan brings goose pimples to any wrestling fan however this team isn’t the Hart and Hogan you might think. Once bitter rivals as students these two have become mutual acquaintances even teaming up against Revolution X in Warfare at Riot Act. Now they look to team up as a two man group and compete in SNW’s Clash of the Duos. Many wrestling fans see both these men as future SNW World Champions, both men have come so close but fallen at the final hurdle. A good performance here could lead to title shots. But before all that due to their similarity in style they have been teamed up and now they look to compete, together as one at Clash of the Duos. Their inexperience as a team may cost them but what they lack as in experience they make up for in Heart Odds: 1:15Jacob Ryler & Jet Jaguar2010- Eliminated in Qualifiers (Ryler Only)Ryler is known as SNW’s veteran worker, despite being 23 and 3 years experience within SNW. Meanwhile in the opposite view, Jet Jaguar is one of the least experienced on the main roster and the youngest ever SNW wrestler at the age of 17. This is a huge opportunity for Jaguar who has been chosen in the tournament over other SNW wrestlers. Ryler will look to aid Jaguar in any way he can while Jaguar has already aided his vet partner, coming to his aid before the Fire and the Fury put his partner out indefinitely. Now they both have a big challenge, Ryler wants to prove that he’s still got it and in turn help Jaguar show that he has got it. But can they do it? The odds say no but they an’t going down without a fight! Odds: 1:20Incoherence: Hallowicked & Frightmare Chikara has often had a good relationship with SNW, with talent sharing and joint shows have taking place. Another indication of the good relationship is the addition of Chikara stars appearing in SNW’s annual Clash of the Duos. In 2009, the Colony came out to represent Chikara. However, they didn’t represent Chikara too well getting squashed in the first round. The following year in 2010, Chikara sent out the Osirian Portal who did better making it into the Quarter Finals but there was still room for improvement. This year along with the already announced addition of Mike Quackenbush comes Chikara’s newest entrant in the Clash of the Duos series, Hallowicked and Frightmare. These two have been tearing up Chikara in the past year with the size of Hallowicked complementing the speed of Frightmare. However, their lack of experience teaming in Chikara hinders their odds, can they turn it around? Odds: 1:12

NewsSince Kurt Angle posting a cryptic clue about appearing in the Hammerstein Ballroom the same night as SNW’s Clash of the Duos three night event the wrestling world has been abuzz. Although Angle himself haven’t given any answers there’s been a lot of questions posed. Here’s a select few from SNW roster members: Henry Edwards: Angle is one of the true icons of the ring. It would be a dream to lock up with him. Mike Hogan: Angle is one of the all time greats and can still go in the ring. He’s going to tear it up in SNW. Mike Bockwinkel: Angle is a broken down old man. He couldn’t even step in a ring without breaking something. Kevin Hart: Everybody’s dream bout, Kurt Angle vs. Bret Hart. My dream match Kurt Angle vs. Kevin Hart. Matt Spade: Why is everyone making a big thing about Angle showing up? He’ll show up, lose and never appear again. Pointless. A.J Matthews: Angle was a big influence on me when I was growing up. Angle in SNW would be unbelievable. Chris Hammers: I hope Angle shows up. Just so RevX can silence him once and for all. We’re the true power in SNW, don’t forget it. Cody Rejero: Kurt Angle, an Olympic Gold Medallist vs. Cody Rejaro, an Olympic Gold Medallist (in Pepsi drinking) Evan Pagano: Hell yeah, I’d face Angle. No doubt about it, 5 star match instantly. Jacob Ryler: Angle has done so much for this sport, him coming to SNW isn’t out of fame or money, he’s doing it just because he loves wrestling. Bret Thomas: TNA! TNA! Oh Shut the hell up! If Angle shows up we’ll show him real Impact Wrestling. Jack Powers: I’d say Angle is one of the main influences in my ring work. I’ve shaped my style to be like him, from his submissions to his unparalleled intensity. Drew Parkland: That’s Kurt Angle? I thought he had hair? Jack Joseph: I remember meeting Angle when I went to an WWF show as a kid. He was real nice, would love to meet him again. Ace Bennett: What’s all this talk about Angle in SNW? You all should be talking about Bennett’s soon to be second World title reign.

My name has been switched back to Rejero. Sweet! The Can Am Express have been doing great lately. Had a feeling we wouldn't win the title, but glad we looked strong. Congrats on keeping this strong for so long. I know I don't reply much, but I do read every show.

Loved the wrestler's input on the Kurt Angle's tweets, gonna be interesting to see who he challenges or if its just a one night appearance. Drew Parkland's response was gold. Incoherence getting signed for Clash of the Duos is a good move, although I don't see them doing much considering they're not a sign up team. Really glad you have kept up with this, man, its been getting better and better.

I haven't (officilly) replied to this in three months.
Angle doing something is very interesting, biggest guest name yet. COTD is shaping up to be a good one this year, first one without Bockwinkel, who lost his dead weight, and can now soar with the eagles! Jet Jaguar has a huge opportunity here in the tournament, hope he makes it far.

In a Galaxy Far Far AwayS1) Christopher Kennedy Jones vs. Zeke: A bore-fest to kick off the students part of the show. Neither man gets the crowd going and ends with a School Boy from Zeke. S2) X Matt vs. Cain Jackal: A much better student bout, Matt had the crowd worked up and Jackal dashed all hopes of Matt winning with a devastating Spear. Revolution X opened the show walking out to “Children of the Revolution.” Hammers takes the mic and talks about how last week they proved they were strong together. Tonight they will prove they are strong separate, starting right now. 1) Safu vs. Cody Rejaro: Safu looks more beastly than ever since returning from injury. He dominated Cody and put the Pepsi lover away with a Burning Hammer. 2) Fire and the Fury vs. Jacob Ryler and Jet Jaguar: Two teams announced for Clash of Duos face off 2 weeks early after Jaguar came to his partners save last week. A fun tag match with both teams looking well but a Fury Strike earned the heels the win. 3) LyNN vs. Riley Shamrock: A really fun technicial bout, LyNN really struggled putting away Riley and had to have help from Amy on the outside to put him away with a German Suplex Hold. Student Zakk Static made his way out and mocked the SNW locker room proclaiming that once his trial is up he’ll become the greatest start that SNW ever saw. He was cut off by “Master of Puppets” by Metallica signalling the return of Jack Powers. 4) Trial 2: Zakk Static vs. Jack Powers: A definite one sided bout but Jack still made Zakk look good in defeat. A Power Suplex rolled over into a Choke-out made Zakk tap out. AirDevils were shown backstage. Carson Clark said that they haven’t even been booked tonight and said that they should just split up now. Gerard convinced him to give the team one last shot. Carson reiterated that Clash of the Duos will be their final time as a team if they underperform like normal. Intermission. The main event was announced as Edwards vs. Bockwinkel the rematch for the title. A big six-man tag match was also announced as the semi-main event. 5) Evan Pagano vs. Daniel Sinn vs. Steven Kagemann vs. Jordan Devine: Sinn has returned but without Parkland for now who will return at Clash of Duos. All four men looked good in this bout but it was Devine who got the win after Kagemann dove to the floor on Sinn and Devine took out Pagano with a Devinity. 7) Jack Joseph, Kevin Hart and Mike Hogan vs. A.J Matthews, Matt Spade and Ace Bennett: Big six-man tag action with lots of talent crammed into one match. Lots of fast action, plenty of near falls and too much action to talk about. A seriously epic bout which ended with Spade taking the pinfall following a 450 from Hart. Following the bout, AJ and Ace surrounded Spade. Spade was wondering what was going on until AJ thumped him with a Eastern Execution and to add to the punishment Ace locked in the Muto Lock. 8) SNW: Henry Edwards vs. Mike Bockwinkel: These two did a spectacular crowd of calming down the crowd from the previous fast paced bout while keeping the crowd under their control as they set about their story. Bockwinkel worked over Edwards’ leg over and over with a selection of submissions and attacks. While Edwards used up all his energy in the first portion of the bout trying to put Bock away early. Heavily limping, Edwards still managed to counter the Bockwinkel Special and hitting a weakened HE Driver to retain the belt.

Clash of the Duos 2011 UpdateLive from the “Hammerstein Ballroom” in New York 2 Weeks AwayWith 12 teams already announced for Clash of the Duos, we now present the final 4 teams that made it into the 2011 tournament Henry Edwards & Jack Joseph2009- Eliminated in Semi-Finals (Edwards only) 2010- Eliminated in Qualifiers (Separate Teams)At first glance this team looks like a sure favourite to go on and win the 2011 Clash of the Duos, the SNW World Heavyweight Champion and the FUSE Champion, surely they have a tremendous advantage. Unlike the Duos champions thier belts won’t be on the line and instead they can focus on advancing though to the finals however it is clear that this team is missing something when it comes to making a successful tag team, chemistry. Chemistry is something every great team has to have and although Edwards and Jack may trust each other their lack of teaming together looks like it could be their downfall. They have proven that they have what it takes in singles competition due to their title reigns but now they have to see how well they do with a partner by their side. Odds: 1:15Ace Bennett & A.J Matthews2009- Eliminated in Round of 16 (Bennett Only) 2010- Eliminated in Qualifiers (Bennett Only)Following the team of reigning champions is the team of the no.1 contenders. Bennett has yet to have a rematch for the SNW World Champion and is first on the list to get a rematch while AJ has continually been annoying Jack since he was defeated at Riot Act including stealing his FUSE title. Now these two get paired together at the 2011 Clash of the Duos event. This will be Bennett’s third CotD and none of them have gone very well, while AJ makes his CotD debut and with the former champion by his side it multiplies his chances. However, just like their rivals these two have a big disadvantage to overcome, lack of chemistry. No doubt both men respect each other due to their similar attitudes but how well can they get on when SNW hosts the 2011 Clash of the Duos. Odds: 1:12Mike Bockwinkel & Katsuhiko Nakajima2009- Eliminated in Quarter-Finals (Bockwinkel Only) 2010: Eliminated in Semi-Finals (Bockwinkel Only)Bockwinkel has always done well at Clash of the Duos. In 2009 he teamed with SNW founder Austin Aries and reached the Quarter-finals, in 2010 Bockwinkel went in as the champions alongside fellow Gentlemen’s Club member, Nick Jacobs. They ended up reaching the Semi-Finals. So if the pattern follows Bock will advance to the Finals this year, so it is important that Bockwinkel has a strong partner. With Aries away and Jacobs banned it was hard to find a suitable tag partner for Bockwinkel. However, then we found an odd and but perfect match for the 3rd generation star. Representing Kensuke Office in Japan comes young star Katsuhiko Nakajima. Nakajima is exactly the kind of partner Bock needs, a hard hitting star who just wants to fight. But can Bock break the language barrier? Odds: 1:16Coast to Coast: Donnie East & Chris WestThe final team to be announced for the 2011 Clash of the Duos is a team representing Twin Cities Wrestling, Donnie East and Chris West, Coast to Coast. Coast 2 Coast is a well established team that have wrestled all round America but have found their home in Twin Cities Wrestling. The team have held numerous tag team titles but within TCW they have held the National Championship, despite the belt being primarily for singles competitors. Now featured on TCW Saturday Night the team commonly use the Red Eye Flight to finish off their opponents, which is often a common sight. However, can they pull off the unthinkable and defeat all other teams in SNW’s own 2011 Clash of the Duos? Odds: 1:13

NewsSNW is getting the attention of the wrestling world with the hint left by Kurt Angle on twitter. Angle said he will be appearing in the Hammerstein Ballroom for SNW’s annual Clash of the Duos event. The rumours say that he will be only appearing on one of the three nights which will most likely be the third. At first it was assumed that Angle would just be a special guest but now it seems he will be there to wrestle. Angle appearing seems to be a main reason why the three night event isn’t on iPPV, the other reasons are wrestlers such as the Motor City Machine Guns who wouldn’t be able to compete otherwise and the show being held over three nights. Early favourites for the tournament are the current champions, the Fatality Squad. They have been booked dominantly so far and could be the first team to retain their belts. Both Revolution X teams are also good bets to place on, since their strong wins recently with the returning force of Safu. Meanwhile the Lady Killers are unlikely to win the belts again but we said that last year and we all saw what happened then. Meanwhile, a surprise win could be booked for Jason and Cody to win the tournament or even new team, the Fire and the Fury. As predicted SNW's last iPPV, Riot Act IV did amazingly well in DVD sales and broke all previous sales records. Despite all of the press attention and build up to the big show SNW are in the process of cutting down their roster. With new students moving into main roster places it is becoming increasingly hard for management to fit all wrestlers into an 8 show event without overbooking the show with multi-man matches. It is expected some of the dead weight from the student division will be released. Obvious cuts would say that Jacob Ryler and Matt Spade would be leaving but SNW has confirmed these rumours are false.

Pretty big updates right here. In a Galaxy Far Far Away was a pretty nice show. Nice to see Safu pick up the win, hopefully he gets a good push, ha ha. Loved the six-man tag and good choice to put Hart's team over. The main event was a little confusing but still a good match. Really didn't care who won as I like both, but Edwards retaining was no surprise. Kinda an odd choice for Bockwinkel's partner, we'll have to wait and see how that goes. I'm still really interested about this Angle thing. I have no clue who he'll wrestle, maybe Hart? Hmmm, going to be good either way. Keep this up!
