You know, I dont know why, but i really can't get into that type of tournament. I had did a mini version a while ago, but only with four guys. Also, JJ going heel? Dont like. I really hope theres a bigger story, and not just joining for thee sake of being heel.

Painting a RainbowBe the Best 2012: Week 2 Qualifying1) BLOCK D: Jordan Devine vs. Cody Rejaro: A good match to kick off the show, Devine battled hard to gain the two points but Cody wasn’t going to let Devine win easily. In the end, Cody couldn’t take much more falling to a Lariat and a Devinity combo. 2) BLOCK C: Bret Thomas vs. Mike Bockwinkel: This match never really got started. There were some decent exchanges in the early goings but then Thomas’ stable mates arrived. Not wanting to be out-numbered like last week, Bock feigned being hit by Spade which made the referee call for the bell. Result, DQ win for Bock. Very confusing ending and the fans hated it. However, Thomas and his Milita group had the last laugh, beating down Bockwinkel and leaving him knocked out in the ring. 3) Fire and the Fury vs. Tom Gerard and Travis Cantrell: A break in the qualifying action in this tag match. Cantrell worked well with Gerard in this match despite limited teaming. The highflyers caught F&F on the ropes a few times. However, experience paid off for Arsenic and Fury who won following a Fury Strike. 4) BLOCK B: A.J Matthews vs. Safu: It is unlike SNW to put on a big hard hitting bout but they pulled it off here. Lots of stiff strikes and a slow pace aided the match. However, Safu is much more suited to this style of match and picked up the win with a Burning Hammer after the Samoan Drop failed to put AJ away. 5) BLOCK A: Zakk Static vs. Carson Clark: A surprisingly good match, Clark has been impressing so far this year in singles competition. And the match was kept fairly short to hide any weaknesses. Zakk attempted a Brainbuster only for Clark to knee Zakk while upside down, land on the apron and springboard in with the Swan Dive DDT for the 3-count. Mike Bockwinkel was backstage, walking furiously though the corridor before he bumped into Henry Edwards. Edwards told Bockwinkel that there’s a reason why he’s being beaten up every week and it’s because he’s not part of a group. Bock laughed asking if that was an invitation for him to join the Resistance. Edwards answered “it could be” before Edwards walked off. 6) BLOCK D: Jason Williams vs. Ace Bennett: A great match to end just before intermission. The match was fast paced from start to finish and filled with high risk spots which broke up the action. Highlights included Jason landing feet first from the Syracuse Drop and Ace’s Dive to the outside. The action continued with Jason looking like he would steal the match at the end but Ace countered into a Syracuse Lock. However, Jason held on and got a time limit draw. Intermission. Fans have enjoyed all the matches so far, SNW has displayed their depth in roster with underdog matches, a tag match, a big man brawl, a fast paced highflyer and a great time limit draw. Only the AJ/Safu match disappointed due to the booking, but it was likely done to keep both men strong. 7) BLOCK C: Steven Kagemann vs. Jack Joseph: The good action continues, both men have been trying to push away from the mid-card and rise to main event but Kagemann has been the most successful of two so far. It’s a very even bout which the fans were enjoying and ended suddenly with a Pele Kick as Kagemann attempted a springboard. 8) Jack Powers and Jet Jaguar vs. Gareth Ashdown and Rory Wiseman: Absolute squash. Powers just dominated and tagged in Jaguar finish off. Wiseman and Ashdown sold well for the United Front members and fell to a Power Suplex. 9) BLOCK B: Evan Pagano vs. Kevin Hart: Another top quality match, a pure technical wrestling match which had both men giving their all in attempts to gain 2 more points. Both men put on performances which showed they could easily hold the World title in the future. With the time limit approaching Hart had the Sharpshooter locked in but fearing the time limit would hit he climbed the ropes going for a 450 Splash. He missed and Pagano rolled up Hart with just a second remaining! 10) BLOCK A: Riley Shamrock vs. Henry Edwards: What a main event, the show has already had some great matches but the fans knew this had the potential to top them all. In the opening exchanges Edwards dominated, wanting to put Riley away early. However, Riley held on, waiting for his opportunity to strike. He did and nearly shocked Edwards 11 minutes in with the Irish Welcoming. The match wore on with Riley now getting more offence, getting many near falls. Edwards became frustrated with not being able to put away the Irish young gun away so he took Riley away from the ring and hit the HE Driver on the concrete. Strangely the fans do like Riley, despite him being a RevX member. So they rallied behind him to get back in the ring, which he did. The action continued into the last few minutes with both men teasing finishers. Riley countered the HE Driver several times but then attempted one himself, which was a rookie mistake as Edwards hit the HE Driver with only seconds to go. But Riley kicked out! The remaining few seconds then ticked away as Edwards couldn’t believe the Riley had held him to a draw.

NEXT SNW iPPV: BE THE BEST 2012Live from the FUSE Arena only on Go Fight Live 2 Shows AwayBLOCK A SUMMARY: This week, Clark picked up his first win of the completion over Zakk, who still remains on zero points. Riley held Edwards to a draw putting both men on 3 points. The next show is the final show and could prove crucial. Zakk is already out of the competition but can still earn some points, he’ll be hoping to do that and to stop Riley winning the block. Meanwhile, Edwards will face Clark with 2 points in the balance which could decide the block winner. BLOCK B SUMMARY: Evan Pagano earned a big win at the last show over Kevin Hart to put him in the lead of the block. Also Safu got his first win over AJ to bring himself level on points with Hart. The last qualifying show has Safu going up against Hart which could allow them to draw with Pagano as winners of the group. However, they’re efforts could be in vain if Pagano earns a win. Standing in his way is AJ, who will want to ensure that this tournament wasn’t a complete disaster. BLOCK C SUMMARY: Block C has been thrown wide open. In qualifying night 1 Thomas and Kagemann earned themselves 2 points. But at the most recent show, Jack defeated Kagemann and Bockwinkel got the two points off Thomas meaning that all men stay on 2 points. Before the competition started the fans called this the hardest block and it seems so, as we go into the final night with everyone still in the running to become Block C winner. Jack will take on Bock, while Thomas takes on Kagemann. BLOCK D SUMMARY: At the most recent qualifying night, Jordan continued his winning ways sending himself to the top of the group at the expense of Cody, who now is eliminated. Jason then held Ace to a draw but eliminated himself in the process. In the final qualifying night, rivals Cody and Jason face off, will Cody fight his former BFF? Meanwhile, Jord could go undefeated with a win over Ace but if Ace wins he’ll win the group.

The Final SamuraiBe the Best 2012: Week 3 Qualifying1) BLOCK A: Riley Shamrock vs. Zakk Static: With Zakk already out of the competition, he had the opportunity to earn some points and also, stop Riley’s chance of winning. Zakk did well against Riley but still fell to the Ode to Shamrock. Riley’s win now eliminates Carson Clark from the competition, but puts the pressure on Henry Edwards to win later tonight. Edwards must beat Clark later onto tonight to stay in the competition. But Clark has impressed and will see this match as a big opportunity to shine. 2) BLOCK B: Kevin Hart vs. Safu: A match that could have semi-main evented any show but it was the second match of the night tonight. Safu’s powerhouse style forced Hart to use his speed and skill to outperform Safu. Safu battled well but eventually fell to the 450 Splash. Hart’s win eliminates the Samoan monster, Safu from the competition. Hart win only puts him on even points as Pagano, meaning if Pagano gets a win or a draw tonight Hart’s win would be in vain. 3) Tom Gerard and Travis Cantrell vs. El Hijo de Angel Custodio and LyNN: The non-tourney action continues with a pair of strange tag teams facing off. But, while the El Hijo/LyNN teaming fell apart Travis and Tom looked very good. They earned the win with Tom and his tag partner’s finisher, the Sky High. Following the match, Carson Clark came out to congratulate his tag partner and Cantrell. Clark and Gerard held up Cantrell’s arm, as if to indicate a new alliance. 4) BLOCK C: Steven Kagemann vs. Bret Thomas: With everyone in Block C level on points, this match was of high importance. Once known together as the Fatality Squad, these former Duos Champions faced off. However, the build up failed to live up to expectations as after a few minutes of good wrestling the two brawled to the outside causing a double countout. The draw means both competitors drop points and leave the Block open for Bockwinkel and Joseph, either of them could win the block if they get a win tonight. But, a draw would take all four men to a tiebreaker next week! 5) BLOCK D: Cody Rejaro vs. Jason Williams: As it has been in recent weeks Jason hates Cody, but Cody can’t bring himself to attack his former best friend. So the match was just Jason beating down Cody continually. But Cody just would not give in, the crowd rallied behind Cody and this angered Jason. It angered Jason so much that he took a chair from ringside and smashed it over Cody’s head, resulting in a DQ win for Cody. Jason continued his chair beat down on Cody until the chair was bent and broken. Both men were already out of the competition, so the Block could either be won by Bennett or Devine, who face off in tonight’s main event. Intermission.6) BLOCK A: Henry Edwards vs. Carson Clark: The pressure was on Edwards, after Riley won his match earlier tonight, Edwards must win to stay in the competition but Clark has been putting on great performances as of late. Edwards looked fully focused on getting the win but Clark was no push over, he caught the former World Champ off guard several times but finally fell to the HE Driver. Edwards win puts him on 5 points, on level points with Riley. This means that the two will face off one-on-one in a tiebreaker, with a winner taking Block A. 7) BLOCK B: Evan Pagano vs. AJ Matthews: AJ has had a torrid tournament losing both matches so far while Pagano has had the opposite, winning both of his matches. All Pagano has to do is get a win or draw to win the group, otherwise he will be taken to a tiebreaker with Kevin Hart. But this match was not as simple as it first sounded. It was a very even contest, but it was AJ’s hunger to win that gave him a shock win following a Eastern Execution. 8) New Age Lady Killers, Mike Hogan and Jacob Ryler vs. Jack Powers, Jet Jaguar and Fire and the Fury: Big eight-man non-tournament tag team action. The two tag teams tore into each other fiercely, while Powers stayed away from his title challenger, Hogan. But Hogan was mighty impressive with some good chain wrestling, big signature moves and even a dive to the outside. Despite his efforts the heel team cheated their way to victory, with both a low blow by Jaguar in the ring and a ring bell shot by Fury onto Parkland. After the match the Fire and the Fury, Powers and Jaguar beat down Sinn in the ring. Parkland, Hogan and Ryler rush the ring and the heels retreat up the ramp. Parkland takes a mic and challenges the Fire and the Fury to a take match at the iPPV. Ryler then takes the mic and adds that he challenges Jaguar to a rematch one-on-one on the iPPV. 9) BLOCK C: Mike Bockwinkel vs. Jack Joseph: The draw from earlier gives both men the opportunity to win this Block with a win here. But a draw would mean another tiebreaker but between all four competitors! Bock was dominant in this match but Jack played a good underdog role, getting plenty of near falls and rallying the crowd behind him. Despite this, the Bockwinkel Special finished off Jack. Bockwinkel’s win takes him to the top of his Block on 4 points and leaves Jack undeservedly at the bottom on 2. Bockwinkel wins Block C, and is the first to book his place in the final four of the Best of the Best iPPV. 10) BLOCK D: Ace Bennett vs. Jordan Devine: A win for Jord would make him winner of the group and undefeated through the Block stage, but if Ace wins he stops Jord and advances himself. A draw would send Jord through, since he is one point in the lead. This was a good back and forth match with both men doing everything they could to get the win and top the group. Jord tried to stall the match, knowing a draw would win it for him. However, Ace kept the pace up and forced Jord to fight back. Ace attempted a Syracuse Drop but Jord held on then hit a lariat for 3-count. Jordan Devine wins Block D and goes undefeated through the Block stage. He now hopes to continue that in the final four at Be the Best iPPV.

Tiebreak Time1) Revolution X vs. Gareth Ashdown and Rory Wiseman: The two rookies face off against the experienced RevX. The former Duos champions dominated but the Scotsman and the Welshman played underdog roles well. After a slight comeback they fell to the Samoan Drop/Neckbreaker combo. 2) Ace Bennett vs. Vincent Fury: A completive match as Fury proved he’s more than just a tag competitor. It’s ironic to say that since Ace is currently one half of the Duos champions but is known more as a singles competitor. Ace’s experience edged it as he hit the Shinning Wizard for the three count. 3) Jordan Devine vs. Dean Caufield: This was a trial match for the young Caufield. Caufield is a 18 year old from Boston. We didn’t get to see much of Dean since Devine dominated. A lariat and a Liger Bomb finished off the youngster. 4) New Age Lady Killers vs. Militia: Sinn and Parkland as always represented the Lady Killers while Bret Thomas and A.J represented the Milita. Despite their teaming inexperience Thomas and AJ did well and kept the Killers on the ropes for a long while but the Killers fought back with Parkland hitting the KFC for the win. 5) Mike Bockwinkel vs. DJ Hughes: The second trial match of the night, DJ is a 20 year old from New Jersey. Like the earlier match, Bockwinkel dominated. Bock toyed with him which caused DJ to slap Bock and try a roll up which infuriated Bock. Bock finished off the youngster with a Bockwinkel Special. 6) Johnny Arsenic vs. El Hijo de Angel Custodio: Unlike the two single trial matches this match was a bit more even. Arsenic was still the better in the match but El Hijo won the crowd over with his high flying offence. Hijo missed a springboard allowing Arsenic to hit the Arson Driver. Intermission. Three big matches after the break, there’s two tiebreak matches with the winner advancing to the final four of the Be the Best iPPV. Plus, there’s a huge six man tag between the United Front and the Resistance. 7) BLOCK B: Kevin Hart vs. Evan Pagano: A good back and forth match with plenty of big spots and counter reversals. Both men were in top form and the crowd appreciated the effort shown by both men. With the 20 minute time limit turned off due to this match being a tiebreaker the match went on longer than other BtB matches. Hart attempted the 450 Splash after Pagano kicked out of the Small Package Driver. But Pagano got the knees up to counter, hit the ropes for a SicKick and followed up with the Calling to win the block. 9) BLOCK A: Henry Edwards vs. Riley Shamrock: Absolutely brilliant match, this match speaks volumes of how much Riley has grown to be able to stand toe-to-toe with SNW’s biggest star and not be intimidated. As you would expect there was plenty of hard hitting as both men went all out for the win. Late on in the match, Riley began to weaken and Edwards hit the HE Driver but somehow Riley kicked out. Riley then hit a quick comeback hitting Edwards with a massive combo. Edwards was able to kick out and the match continued. Edwards hit the 2nd HE Driver of the match then followed it up with Riley’s own move the Ode to Shamrock for the win. Edwards win means he wins Block A and advances to the final four of the tournament on the iPPV. 8) United Front vs. Resistance: Representing the United Front were Powers, Williams, Jaguar, Kagemann, Static and Jackal. Representing the Resistance were Joseph, Rejero, Cantrell, Ryler and The AirDevils. Lots of action, too much to write about in such a small space. There were some obvious points to focus on, moves such as a 3-way dive from the AirDevils and Cantrell, Cody still unable to fight Jason and the underling feeling that the UF were the better team. The Resistance lacked that star quality, Joseph tried to fill in and put in a good shift but was unable to lead his team as well as Powers did. All 12 men got their time in the ring and at the end the action led to everyone hitting their finishers in a series of moves ending with Powers hitting the Power Suplex on Rejaro.

NewsReigning SNW Champions have been wrestling all over the country to defend their titles. SNW World Heavyweight Champion Jack Powers defended his title in a 20 minute match in Ohio that tore the house down. Meanwhile, SNW Duos champions Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart defended their titles twice including a stop at Chikara where they defeated the Batiri following their Syracuse Drop and Small Package Driver finishers. The relationship between SNW and TCW continues to flourish. Two SNW teams represented the company in Twin Cities Wrestling’s “Stable Wars: Return of the Trios”. Former SNW World Champion, Henry Edwards teamed up alongside former Duos Champions the AirDevils to make up “Team SNW”. The second team was SNW’s most established team “Revolution X” and was comprised of leader Jordan Devine and his stablemates Riley Shamrock and LyNN. Both teams reached the Semi-Finals but it was RevX who were eliminated first after Glamsley Enterprises defeated them. Meanwhile, Team SNW reached the final where they met the team that eliminated RevX, Glamsley Enterprises. Despite the odds, the SNW boys pulled out a huge win on TCW’s turf. BE THE BEST 2012Live from the FUSE Arena only on Go Fight LiveP1) El Hijo de Angel Custodio vs. Gareth Ashdown vs. Rory Wiseman vs. DJ Hughes: Decent enough match to start. It was just spots from start to finish to get the crowd excited for the nights action. El Hijo hit the impressive Spanish Fly on DJ for the win. A clip package played, highlighting the United Fronts rise and dominance as well as focusing on feuds such as Jason/Cody and Hogan’s return. The package aired showing how all four men advanced to the Semi-Finals of Be the Best. Clips were then shown of the four men remaining in the Bes the Best competition arriving earlier in the day. Devine arrived in a large Jeep with his Rev X teammates. Edwards parked up his Mustang, threw his bag over his shoulder and headed straight for the entrance. Bockwinkel rode up in a Ferrarri telling a parking attendant “if you scratch it, it doesn’t matter I got five more at home” before laughing then adding deadpanning “but seriously, if you do, I will kill you”. Powers was last to arrive alongside his United Front stablemates. 1) BtB Semi-Finals: Henry Edwards vs. Mike Bockwinkel: The show kicked straight off into tournament action. Edwards has been fully focused on regaining the belt while Bockwinkel hasn’t held the title for a while and is looking to kick start his title ambitions. When these two have previously met it was a very technical affair but this started very different. Edwards brought his striking game and Bock was forced to brawl. Edwards took advantage before Bock exited to the outside to have a rest. The match restarted with Bock controlling through a technical style. This continued throughout the rest of the match where Edwards countered the Bockwinkel Special with a head kick. This allowed Edwards to hit the HE Driver and advance to the finals. 2) BtB Semi-Finals: Evan Pagano vs. Jordan Devine: The action continued right away as the United Front met RevX. Lots of action right from the get go with both men looking to meet Edwards in the final. Pagano attempted the SicKick twice early on but both failed to connect. However the third was to be lucky, catching Jordan off guard and almost securing the nearfall. This seemed to be the turning point in the match as Jordan couldn’t seem to recover. After some Pagano dominance Jordan fought back reversing a superplex attempt into twisting superplex from the top. The two got back to their feet and wearily traded blows. Both men looked fatigued but it was Devine who reached into his reserve tank hitting a flurry of Hammers-esq finishers: a lariat, running liger bomb and the Last Minute Orders. 3) Revolution X vs. Adrenaline: The action and suspense slowed as we had another RevX/United Front match this time the team of Safu and LyNN took on Zakk Static and Cain Jackal. The crowd were a little disinterested in the match after two strong openers. The competitors realised that and hit a few spots and wrapped it up. Safu and LyNN getting the win with a Samoan Drop/Neckbreaker combo to make it 2-0 to RevX. 4) Jet Jaguar vs. Jacob Ryler: At first the crowd took a collective yawn when they saw who were involved but when the match got going the crowd leapt to their feet. Jaguar took an early dive as Ryler made his entrance. Ryler then took advantage throwing Jaguar into the crowd and smashing his head on the outside turnbuckle. In the ring Jaguar hit both stiff kicks and high spots to keep the crowd excited while Ryler also did well to play off Jag. In the end the two battled on the top rope teasing big falls until Ryler pushed Jaguar off and hit the Higher You Go Leg Drop for the three count. 5) AirDevils vs. Militia: The team of Carson Clark, Tom Gerard and the newest member of the AirDevil family Travis Cantrell took on the team of Bret Thomas, A.J Matthews and Matt Spade. The Devils wowed the crowd with their ariel offence while the Milita group are much more power based. The two teams worked well together with each person having some time to show off. Despite their fast pace the Devils couldn’t finish off the Milita and fell to Thomas’ Fall. Intermission. The fans enjoyed the first half. The pre-show built up the crowd for two fantastic openers, then the next match slowed the crowd down before the matches before the break built up the crowd once more. The remaining matches including three title matches and the Be the Best Final are sure to excite the crowd. 6) Jack Joseph vs. Steven Kagemann vs. Riley Shamrock: Good action to follow from the break. Fast paced action with high spots, brawling and technical wrestling, so a bit of everything really. All three men put in good performances but they didn’t really have enough time to do anything special. Kagemann picked up the win putting the United Front back in the winning ways after a Fire Tornado on Jack. 7) DUOS: Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart vs. New Age Lady Killers vs. Fire and the Fury: Great tag action with lots of action from the get go. Only one man from each team was allowed in the ring at one time which led to some interesting interactions. All three teams looked good and the tensions between F&F and the Lady Killers continued to rise until the tag rules began to break and the match turned into a free-for-all. However, these tensions led to Hart and Bennett taking the advantage while the two teams were facing off. Hart’s Small Package Driver and Ace’s Shinning Wizard proved the distance and the champs retained. 8) FUSE: Jason Williams vs. Cody Rejero: As you would suspect this match continued the way Jason and Cody’s recent altercations have been going with Jason dishing out the punishment and Cody still unable to attack his former tag partner. Jason continued to attack hitting three consecutive Psycho Drivers before making the pin. Following the match, Jason grabbed a mic. He called the barely conscience Cody “Pathetic” adding he’ll never get anywhere in life with his goody attitude. Jason uses the example of himself before he joined the United Front saying that he never won a title, no matter how hard he tried but as soon as he joined up he won the FUSE title. Jason then leant down and smashed the mic into Cody’s face repeatedly, shouting “pathetic” until the Lady Killers ran out to help Cody. Jason exited with a bloody microphone in hand. 9) SNW: Jack Powers vs. Mike Hogan: The match started slow with a methodical pace as we started a feeling out process. Powers showed off his technical style, what he has proven over the last few years he is the best at. Hogan wasn’t intimidated, being from the UK he was well versed in a mat based style. Hogan showed his European mat based wrestling and Powers fought back. The pace got quicker as the match wore on. The pace favoured Hogan, who is used to a quicker pace. Hogans high spots were the highlights of the match. Whether it be his dive to the outside or his Springboard Tornado DDT. Both moves visibly effected Powers. But Powers was by no means dominated, he had an equal share of the match hitting suplexes and slams galore for near falls. Hogan hoped he had the match won following the Springboard Elbow followed by the Futurism only for Powers to counter into the Power Suplex and straight into the Choke-Out. Hogan was forced to tap out. 10) BtB Final: Henry Edwards vs. Jordan Devine: The main event of the night Henry Edwards looked to reclaim his Be the Best crown he won last year against Revolution X leader Jordan Devine. Unlike the previous match there was no slow start, both men went all out from the opening bell. However, the previous matches both men competed in did have an effect on both men, probably more on Edwards than Devine. Edwards shockingly hit the HE Driver from a quick counter in the fifth minute but Devine still powered out. Soon after Edwards started showing signs of fatigue by holding his neck, Devine saw this and targeted the neck from then on. Edwards fought through the pain and attempted a suicide dive only for Devine to duck and Edwards smash into the crowd, four rows deep. Edwards was nearly counted out but Devine showed signs of gallantry by exiting the ring to restart the count and allow Edwards to enter the ring. The match continued with the pain still etched across Edwards face. Edwards still continued hitting a second HE Driver again out of nowhere for an even closer count. Edwards then attempted the Fatal Impact but Devine countered leaving Edwards landing on his neck. Devine saw this as the big opportunity and liked earlier in the show he hit a trio of big finishes: the Devinity, a lariat and then the Last Minute Orders to seal the deal. Jordan Devine wins the 2012 Be the Best and as a result earns a World Title Match. Devine wearily called for the mic, meanwhile, Edwards was rolled to the side of the ring and checked out by a medic. Devine said that early on in the competition that he would win it and look at him now. Devine added that he said he was going to win the title to get RevX back on track and he’ll do that too. He then called out the World Champ Jack Powers, who walked out and stood between the ring and the entrance. Devine told Powers that he’ll challenge him for the title at the very next show. The Gold Mask man who stood at the entrance and looked down at both champion and challenger.

The Devine Challenge1) Drew Parkland vs. Mike Bockwinkel: The Lady Killers man went solo here against the former World Champ. It was a competitive match but Bock always looked the better man. Bockwinkel took the mic post match and said that for too long he has been ignored. He said that he would win back the title at Riot Act V. 2) Adrenaline vs. DJ Hughes, Dean Caufield and Rory Wiseman: Kagemann, Static, Jackal took on three rookies and were dominant. The youngsters tried to fight back but fell to the United Front sub team. 3) Riley Shamrock vs. Jack Joseph: A good match of skill as the technical Riley took on the highflying Joseph. Riley’s been on a roll as of late and continued with the Ode to Shamrock. Hughes, Caufield and Wiseman are shown walking backstage, nursing their wounds. They enter into their locker-room where they someone sitting amongst their gear playing on his iPhone. Hughes asks “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” The young lad instantly springs to his feet introducing himself as Elliot Reid but Wiseman tells him to get lost. 4) Revolution X vs. El Hijo de Angel Custodio and Jacob Ryler: Safu and LyNN represented RevX and held off a highflying El Hijo and the ever reliable Ryler. However, Ryler’s rival Jet Jaguar interfered causing Safu to crush El Hijo with the Samoan Drop. 5) FUSE: Jason Williams vs. Daniel Sinn: A great match to lead into the break. Sinn looked determined to show he wasn’t just a tag competitor by winning the title but Jason held him off. Sinn looked to win the title until a Jason low blow led to a sunset flip victory for the champ. Intermission. The three AirDevils, Clark, Gerard and Cantrell couldn’t appear tonight but Clark recent performances have earned him a FUSE title match. 6) Evan Pagano vs. Cody Rejaro vs. Bret Thomas: A good three way from three good talents. They all represented different factions: United Front, Resistance and the Milita so there was plenty to fight for. Pagano’s springboard was countered by a double knee facebreaker. Thomas then snuck in to hit the Fall on Cody to get the win. Thomas leaves triumphant and Pagano seems disappointed in the loss. As Cody is leaving he is attacked by former tag partner and now rival Jason Williams. However, as Jason runs to grab a chair the New Age Lady Killers run out. Parkland takes the mic to tell Jason that they’re not going to allow Jason’s antics anymore and they’ll stand up for Cody. 7) Henry Edwards vs. A.J Matthews: A bit of a squash match here as Edwards was dominant. When he’s angry Edwards is almost unstoppable. Apart from a short A.J fight back Edwards dominated. A HE Driver dropped AJ on his head and finished off the match. 8) DUOS: Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart vs. Fire and the Fury: A great tag team match between two of SNW’s top teams. F&F have really improved since they debuted and are right at the top of the tag team ladder. The match was ruined by the Lady Killers interfering taking out Arsenic and Fury. Ace and Hart made a quick exit, expecting the remaining teams to brawl. And they did, the Lady Killers took the advantage due to them being the fresher men but then Jason Williams ran out, obviously upset over what happened earlier. He ran out with a steel chair and smacked Sinn and Parkland out as the brawl continued. Cody then ran out with his own chair and it looked like he might finally fight Jason but then he hit F&F instead. The Killers then took out Jason as Sinn, Parkland and Cody stood tall in the ring. Sinn took the mic and challenged Arsenic, Fury and Jason to a six man tag at Riot Act V. 9) SNW: Jack Powers vs. Jordan Devine: It’s the big main event as SNW World Champion and leader of the United Front, Jack Powers took on Revolution X leader and Be the Best winner 2012. This is Devine’s title shot from winning Be the Best and as you would expect he was very eager to get the match going. The match started off with Devine trying to keep up the pace while Powers would do everything to slow the pace. Powers started off the better with submissions and his ground game to slow the pace. This weakened Devine down and as the match wore on his offence became less effective. Powers’ gameplan was working but it didn’t stop Devine exploding with quick flurries of offence to catch Powers off guard. The running Liger Bomb, Lariat and the Devinity were all used but couldn’t earn Devine the title. Devine then tried the Last Minuite Orders but Powers had it scouted it and locked in the Russian Armbar. Powers had been working over the arm all match and the counter had caught Devine off guard. Devine tried to get to the ropes but wasn’t going anywhere so he was forced to submit. Following the bell, Evan Pagano ran out to ringside to celebrate. He was followed by the other members of the United Front. At first the group were there to celebrate but then they noticed Devine holding his arm in pain on the floor and the group attacked. However, Devine’s Revolution X teammates came out to protect their leader. There was a huge brawl between the two groups until the numbers advantage gave United Front the advantage. The brawl turned into a one sided beat-down, the United Front threw all the RevX members from the ring except one, Jordan Devine. Devine’s arm was hurt and he was also physically beat. The UF held Devine on his knees and Powers stood over him with a chair in hand. However, Powers then turned to the entrance where the Golden Masked man stood. “Gold Mask” walked slowly down to the ring before entering the ring and being handed the chair by Powers. “Gold Mask” pulled back ready to hit Devine but turned and hit Static! Then Jackal, Jaguar and then Pagano across the back as he tried to exit. “Gold Mask” tried to hit Powers but only caught the ropes as Powers exited through the ropes. The United Front looked shocked as one of their own had turned on them. Safu, LyNN and Riley rolled back into the ring to protect Devine, since “Gold Mask” had now turned to face the still kneeling Devine. “Gold Mask” then offered to help Devine up but Devine looked hesitant. “Gold Mask” then put the chair aside and reached up to his mask to pull it off. He pulled off his golden mask to reveal Chris Hammers! Hammers then helped Devine back up to his feet. The rest of RevX looked delighted at having their leader back but for the United Front this was a massive blip in their masterplan to take over SNW. The show ended with a shocked United Front retreating up the entrance way. As RevX stood tall in the ring with the returning Chris Hammers at the front.

Global MourningThe show starts with Chris Hammers entering the ring to a tremendous response of “Welcome Back!” Hammers said that a few months back he was asked to go on trial with NOAH, it was about the same time that Jack Powers told him about his “plan” that would later become the United Front. Hammers said that Powers wanted him to lead the group while Powers targets the World title. Hammers further explained that it was Powers’ idea to pretend that Hammers had signed a permanent deal in Japan (which was set up thanks to some of Powers friends in NOAH) This fake deal allowed Hammers to disappear while the United Front was born. Powers then wanted Hammers to re-debut by hitting Devine with a chair and taking off his mask. But Hammers said he always knew where his trust was, not with Powers but with the group he founded Revolution X. Hammers then explained that he went along with Powers’ plan because he believed it was the best way of beating him. Hammers further explained that he realised this masterplan by Powers couldn’t dealt with easily, he had to destroy it from the inside. Hammers concluded that this is only the beginning of his own plan to stop the United Front. He then challenged the United Front to a five on five Warfare match at Riot Act V. 1) AirDevils vs. Adrenaline: The new-ish tag team of Tom Gerard and Travis Cantrell took on United Front sub-group of Zakk Static and Cain Jackal. Gerard and Cantrell continued to impress and their highflying antics earned them the win. Mike Bockwinkel made his way out to the ring and talked about how he should be the number one contender to the World title. This brought out Henry Edwards who told him he was wrong. Bock said that Edwards has had plenty of chances and it’s time to step out of the spotlight. Bockwinkel then launched a verbal attack on Edwards saying that he has always been the “Golden Poster Boy” of SNW, and now it’s time to let others have their chance. Edwards said that the reason why he gets the title shots is to do with his in ring performances. Bockwinkel then told Edwards to watch his next match to show him how it’s done. 2) Jack Joseph vs. Mike Bockwinkel: A good match, Jack used his highflying to combat the more mat based Bockwinkel. The match was pretty even but even with Edwards watching on Bock pulled out the win with the Bockwinkel Special. 3) Steven Kagemann and Jet Jaguar vs. Jacob Ryler and Dean Caufield: Mainly a squash match, Ryler and Jaguar squared off while Kagemann picked apart the young Caufield finishing with the Fire Tornado. Fire and the Fury were shown on video giving a message to the New Age Lady Killers. They apologised for not being in the arena tonight but they had much better things to do than to wrestle in front of such an unworthy audience. They said they will wrestle at Riot Act V where they will defeat the Lady Killers once and for all. They said they had a huge advantage of having “the highly talented” Jason Williams on their side while the Killers have “Coward” Rejaro. 4) Militia vs. Rory Wiseman, Gareth Ashdown and DJ Hughes: Utter squash, not the best way to lead into intermission. Wiseman had a little bit of offence against Spade and Ashdown attempted a dive to the outside which failed. Bret Thomas’ the Fall gave the Milita the group win. Intermission. It was mentioned that Jordan Devine had an arm injury from the last show and that’s why he isn’t here tonight. 5) United Front vs. Revolution X: Jack Powers and Evan Pagano represented the UF while LyNN and Safu represented RevX. The story of the match was Powers and Pagano taking out Safu to focus on LyNN. This even included taking Safu into the crowd and smashing him against a wall. The plan worked as Powers locked in the Immortality for the submission win. We cut backstage to the youngsters of SNW’s locker room. Gareth Ashdown is there chatting with Elliot Reid. DJ Hughes and Rory Wiseman walk in and notice Elliot who they met last week, DJ asking “Aren’t you that Adrian kid?”, Elliot responds by repeating his name from last week and once again Wiseman tells him to get lost. However, Ashdown stands up and tells DJ and Rory to stop being harsh on Elliot. There seems to be tension until Dean Caulfield who was in the corner of the room steps up and tells everyone to calm down. 6) FUSE: Jason Williams vs. Carson Clark: The AirDevil got his chance at the belt by performing well recently. As you would expect from these two it was a highflying spotfest. They spent more time in the air than they did on two feet. Some innovative moves and counters from both men and the uber fast pace made this a fan favourite. Jason ruins the match by distracting the ref to low blow Clark and get the win. 7) Ace Bennett, Kevin Hart and El Hijo de Angel Custodio vs. New Age Lady Killers and Cody Rejaro: A fun six-man tag. This match was in preparation for the Killers and Cody’s six man fight at Riot Act. They looked good together but they were always going to have a fight on their hand against the reigning tag champions. However the Killers focused in on El Hijo and took him out with the Pin Pointer. 8) Henry Edwards vs. Riley Shamrock: The underdog story of Riley Shamrock continued. He’s faced Edwards a few times before and has shown he has what it takes to fight toe-to-toe with the former 3-time SNW World Champion. Edwards looked determined at first to wrap this match up early but was unable to put away the “Irish Young Gun”. Riley fought back with a few near falls and a neat exchange of submissions could have ended the match with either man the victor. In the end exchanges both men went all out to finish each other off. The ring announcer announced that there is only 5 minutes left in the 30 minutes time limit. As the clock ticked down Riley went for a trademark stiff head kick but Edwards caught and converted it into the Crossface. But like the rest of the match Riley would not submit and the match ended a draw. Both men lay exhausted, Riley was heavily favouring the arm after the armbar. Both men got to their feet and faced off in the centre of the ring. They looked around and saw the crowd on their feet chanting “5 more minutes” Riley nodded and challenged Edwards to bring it on. Edwards then motioned to Riley’s arm, as if he was asking him if he’s alright and Riley replied by slapping Edwards in the face! Edwards was shocked at first then smiled, stood back and motioned the ref to ring the bell. 8b) 5 Minute Overtime: Henry Edwards vs. Riley Shamrock: Edwards went right for the arm but Riley kept him at bay with a selection of kicks and suplexes. Riley thought he was in control and went to wrap it up with the Ode to Shamrock but Edwards was waiting. Edwards countered, grabbing the arm and countering with a Crossface. 4 of the 5 minutes had gone and Edwards had Riley locked in the middle of the ring, could Riley hold on once more? Then Mike Bockwinkel walked out to distract Edwards. Edwards looked up to see what the crowd was looking at and Riley took the opportunity rolling Edwards over on his back for a quick roll-up.

NEXT SNW iPPV: RIOT ACT VLive from the FUSE Arena only on Go Fight Live 1 Show AwayWarfare VUNITED FRONT: Jack Powers, Evan Pagano, Steven Kagemann, Zakk Static, Cain Jackal vs. REVOLUTION X: Chris Hammers, Jordan Devine, Riley Shamrock, Safu, LyNNWarfare returns, as the invading force the United Front look to once and for all establish themselves as the top stable in SNW by knocking Revolution X off their perch. Although both big stables they have their differences. RevX was first founded by Chris Hammers on the first ever SNW show where he recruited Safu as the first member of his “project”. Hammers’ aim was to claim every title in SNW, a claim that he has been close to completing on plenty of occasions. Meanwhile, the United Front are a new stable led by Jack Powers. Powers wants to take SNW by force and he has collected a group of other SNW wrestlers who feel that SNW has treated them badly. Since joining together the United Front have been almost unstoppable, winning both the World title and the FUSE title. Now these two teams clash in the violent, horrific and dangerous WARFARE. SNW Duos ChampionshipsAce Bennett and Kevin Hart vs. AirDevilsYou might expect Gerard and Clark to be challenging for the titles but there’s a new AirDevil on the scene. With Clark going single Gerard has brought in a third member, young Travis Cantrell in the AirDevils quest to win back the titles. They have a tough challenge as they face two of SNW’s finest stars, Bennett and Hart. Both are well established single competitors but since teaming they have looked unbeatable. Can the new AirDevils topple the champions? Street Fight Jet Jaguar vs. Jacob RylerThe rivalry comes to an end in the brutal Street Fight. These two have been trading wins over the past few months but now this comes to an end. These two men first met when Ryler took Jaguar under his wing as an apprentice. They had reasonable success together before Jaguar began to change. His strange actions cost their team the match and even attacked Ryler. Ryler had had enough and challenged his former mate to a match. Jaguar officially turned his back on Ryler and the rest of SNW by joining the United Front. Now for Ryler this isn’t just a matter of settling a score with an old friend, its standing up for SNW against the United Front. Video ExclusiveSNW has released a new video on their website, it involves the 5 young rookies of SNW. It seems like SNW are building these five young athletes slowly mainly using them in squash matches. Meanwhile, this video seems to for building up the youngsters characters. Gareth Ashdown, Rory Wiseman, DJ Hughes, Dean Caufield and the newest member of the SNW roster Elliot Reid are in the gym. Hughes has his headphones on loud and spots Elliot on a running machine, he follows the power cable to the wall then pulls it. As he does Elliot runs over the top of the machine and falls flat on the floor. Hughes walks over and laughs as does Wiseman. Elliot gets to his feet and not wanting to be embarrassed grabs DJ’s headphones, throws them on the floor and stamps on them. DJ gets angry and grabs Elliot and they begin fighting around on the floor. Wiseman being a typical Scotsman shouts “Fight, fight, fight” but then Ashdown and Caufield run over and breaks up the fighting twosome.Ashdown: What the hell do you guys think you’re doing? DJ: This guy broke my headphones! Reid: And he turned off my machine! Caufield: Well we’re not going to get anywhere fighting Wiseman: Go on punch him in the chops! DJ takes a swing at Reid but Elliot moves and then pushes him back.DJ: C’mon then Elliot boy, you British B*****ds are all the same! Ashdown: Hey I’m Welsh! Wiseman: And I’m Scottish, watch what you’re saying lad Caufield: Look, we need to stick together DJ: And why’s that? Caufield: Because if you haven’t noticed everyone in SNW has grouped up. And we’re the new guys, we need to stick together Wiseman: What we need to stay with this “Adrian” kid? Elliot: It’s Elliot Reid, how many times have I told you guys my name? Caufield: We’re the least experienced guys around here, we need strength in numbers. Ashdown: I agree, we need to stick together. Elliot seems a little reluctant to be in a team with Wiseman and DJ but nods his head in agreement. Wiseman and DJ look at each other, DJ then looks down at his headphones.Wiseman: I haven’t got anything better to do. I’m in Ashdown: So what about it DJ, you in? DJ Hughes still seems like he doesn’t want to join up and picks up his broken headphones. Elliot then walks over and hands over his pair of headphones.DJ: Yeah ok, I’m in. But you (Elliot) still owe me. Wiseman: This doesn’t mean we’re a group right, we’re not the Job Squad right? Caufield: Nah man, we just got each other’s back if we need it yeah? The five all kind of agree and go their separate ways to continue training. DJ and Wiseman go off together and share a laugh possibly at the expense of Elliot.

White WashDuos champions Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart talk about title bout against the AirDevils at Riot Act V. They said they picked some highflyers to practice against and they’ll even put the titles on the line. 1) DUOS: Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart vs. Elliot Reid and Dean Caufield: The Duos champions dominated but the rookie highflyers did wow the crowd with some offence. This was Elliot’s debut and like Caufield he’s a young highflyer, they might have a bright future together. But for now, Ace and Hart reign at the top. They won with the Syracuse Drop / 450 Splash. 2) Jack Powers vs. Gareth Ashdown: Another squash match, no title on the line this time. Powers dominated but took Ashdown too much for granted. Powers locked in submissions but would let go to mock his opponent. Ashdown nearly pulled off the shock of the century as he rolled Powers into a armbar but Powers soon got out of it and locked in his own Russian Armbar. 3) Mike Bockwinkel vs. Cody Rejaro vs. A.J Matthews vs. Rory Wiseman: Bit of an odd match, four completely different guys thrown together. It was a fun match with everyone trying to keeping it to two men in the ring at one time. Bockwinkel won after focusing on the inexperienced Wiseman hitting a Bockwinkel Special for the win. After the other had exited Bockwinkel started insulted Henry Edwards. Bock continued to question Edwards numerous title shots. He even insinuated that Edwards must be sleeping with the SNW owner to get so many title shots. Edwards then made his entrance and challenged Bock to a match at Riot Act V. Edwards said he would show Bock why he gets all the titles and accolades by beating him down. 4) Carson Clark vs. Matt Spade: Decent enough singles match. Clark’s highflying was the highlight, he continued to impress in singles competition hitting the Swan Dive DDT for the win. Following the match, A.J. Matthews attacked Carson Clark and told him that he recent display has earned him plenty of admirers but with this new found single fame he also puts a target on his back. “You’re the target, I’m the huntsman.” Intermission. Nothing from the first half has overly impressed, they’ve mostly been extended squash matches. But with Riot Act V just around the corner, you can’t expect SNW to put on showstopping matches. 5) AirDevils and Jacob Ryler vs. Fire and the Fury and Jason Williams: The AirDevils of Tom Gerard, Travis Cantrell were looking to get some more momentum going into their title match, as was Ryler in preparation for his Street fight. Meanwhile Arsenic, Fury and Jason were teaming together ready for their six man tag at the same iPPV. The faces looked good but F&F and Jason are both known for their cheating so it was no surprise to see them cheat here. Arsenic used a chair, Jason hit a low blow and Jet Jaguar took out Ryler which allowed Fury to hit the Fury Strike. We go backstage where Rory Wiseman walks into a locker room where Gareth Ashdown, Dean Caufield, DJ Hughes and Elliot Reid are. Wiseman walks in and knocks Elliot as he walks by. Elliot the plucky youngster, jumps to his feet and pushes Wiseman back. DJ then walks over and takes a swing at Elliot but Caufield sees it and pushes him away. The four men square off before Ashdown jumps between them. He reminds them that they are meant to be a team but it seems Wiseman wants to let off some steam after losing and DJ still hasn’t gotten over Elliot breaking his headphones. Caufield suggests that the four have a match to sort out their differences then they might be able to get on as a team. DJ and Wiseman agree and the four go their separate ways. 6) Jack Joseph vs. Bret Thomas: Two completely different styles, Jack went highflying while Bret was the powerhouse, so this made a good match. There was no separating these two in this match as they went back and forth until Jack took a dive to the outside which resulted in both men being counted out. 7) Evan Pagano vs. Henry Edwards: A top quality singles match here as United Front’s Evan Pagano took on the man Mike Bockwinkel called “SNW’s poster boy”, Resistance leader Henry Edwards. Lots of good action here, no slow parts at all as both men went all out to finish off the other. Just like when they have faced off before they traded their signature handspring kicks, the SicKick and the Fatal Impact before Edwards grabbed a dizzy Pagano in the HE Driver and then the Crossface. Mike Bockwinkel ran out post match and attacked Edwards from behind dropping him on his head with the Bockwinkel Special: Championship Edition. Bockwinkel then posed to the crowd shouting “Who’s the face of SNW now hey?” 8) Adrenaline vs. Revolution X: The main event was a preview to Riot Act’s Warfare match as six men battled it out here, three from each side to determine who would get the number advantage going into Warfare. Steven Kagemann, Zakk Static and Cain Jackal represented United Front as the sub-group Adrenaline while in the absence of both Hammers and Devine the young Riley Shamrock led the RevX team of Safu and LyNN. At first Adrenaline looked the weaker but they focused on Riley and weakened him. He tagged out to LyNN who they then focused on but he eventually made the tag to the fresh Safu. Safu dominated and looked like he would wrap up the win but the numbers advantage favoured Adrenaline and they took out Safu. Riley valiantly fought back but his team ultimately fell to Adrenaline after Kagemann’s Fire Tornado after Jackal hit a huge spear on Safu. As a result, the United Front will have the numbers advantage going into Warfare V. Also with this win they have the momentum. We can only ask the question which we have been asking for many months, can anyone stop the United Front?

Since joining together the United Front have been almost unstoppable, winning both the World title and the FUSE title. Now these two teams clash in the violent, horrific and dangerous WARFARE. JUST ANNOUNCED Henry Edwards vs. Mike BockwinkelThese two have had a feud going back many years now. Let us not forget that Edwards ended Bockwinkel’s only reign as SNW World Champion. To add extra pressure it was at Riot Act 2 where Edwards began his second reign as champ. But that is in the past and these two have a different quarrel. Bockwinkel claims that SNW is sick of seeing Edwards get constant title matches, calling him “SNW’s poster boy”. Edwards rejects this claim, saying that he gets his title matches due to his hard work and commitment. Now Edwards wants to prove Bockwinkel wrong by defeating him and going onto earn another title shot. SNW Duos ChampionshipsAce Bennett and Kevin Hart vs. AirDevilsYou might expect Gerard and Clark to be challenging for the titles but there’s a new AirDevil on the scene. Six-Man ActionNew Age Lady Killers and Cody Rejaro vs. Fire and the Fury and Jason WilliamsTwo sets of rivals collide in this crucial clash of pride, honour and friendship. The New Age Lady Killers are undoubtedly the best established team in SNW with countless title reigns and accolades. However the Fire and the Fury have challenged them ever since arriving on the scene. Battle after battle these duos rivals have faced off in, now they battle once more with an added man. Meanwhile, Jason and Cody were great friends and a good tag team. However this all changed when Jason joined the United Front. Jason now hates his former tag partner but Cody can’t bring himself to fight his former partner. But with the Lady Killers by his side will he finally be able to fight Jason? JUST ANNOUNCED Jack Joseph vs. Bret Thomas At our last event, former two-time FUSE Champion Jack Joseph faced off against Milita leader Bret Thomas and the match ended in a countout. A rematch has been announced as both men want to prove to the other they are the superior man. These two have completely different styles, Jack with his high risk offence and Thomas with his powerhouse style. Which style will prevail in this rematch? JUST ANNOUNCED Carson Clark vs. A.J MatthewsMilitia member, A.J Matthews has been jealous of Carson Clark’s recent success in the singles division. AJ feels that the AirDevils venture in singles competition has harmed his standing in SNW. Now AJ looks to address the balance as he takes on the man who fans call “the quickest wrestler alive”. Can AJ handle the fast paced offence or will AJ’s strength prevail? NEXT: AWARDS CEREMONY 2012 LATER: RIOT ACT V

2012 Awards CeremonyLive via free Internet StreamUnlike previous award ceremonies the awards are not being handed out in the FUSE Arena since it has been set up for the Riot Act event and the management doesn’t want to spoil what the arena looks like. Instead the 2012 awards ceremony is in a large conference room across the street from the FUSE Arena. The tables have been set up around the room, with the wrestlers and other talent working for SNW at the front and the public seating at the back. There’s a small stage at the front with a podium and a mic. The event is being filmed for a live internet stream on the SNW website and for later release on the Riot Act V DVD. Along with the current batch of SNW wrestlers there are former SNW roster members such as Just Another Gangsta Team, Super Extreme and of course Petey the Pirate. Nick Jacobs is shown trying to enter but is removed by security, since he is still banned from all SNW events. The reigning SNW Duos Champions, Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart got on stage, they were accompanied by Ace’s sister, Alicia Bennett. Ace spoke first saying that they both knew they were top competitors but it was his sister’s idea to put the two together. Hart added that when they started teaming they began to see each other’s similarities which allowed them to work well together. They put their title win down to hard work and dedication which they hope will lead to many more title defences.
Mike Quackenbush then gets up on the stage to give out the next award. As he gets up on stage everybody starts chanting “Quack, Quack, Quack”. Quackenbush says he’s honoured by the reception, saying it’s the highest form of praise to be praised by his fellow professionals. He then speaks about his time in SNW, saying how he had some of his best and favourite matches in SNW. He says that the way SNW is set up for youth to continually come through is phenomenal and that every batch of youngsters step it up year-in-year-out. Best Wrestler 1. Henry Edwards 2. Jack Powers 3. Ace Bennett 4. Kevin Hart 5. Riley Shamrock - 2009: Jack Powers 2010: Ace Bennett 2011: Kevin Hart
Henry Edwards got on the stage and thanked Quackenbush for being there. He said it’s been a tough year, one year ago he had just got back to full form, defeating Ace Bennett in what many call the best match in SNW history. Since then he has fought tooth and nail to make up for the time he lost when he was out injured. He says that this award is recognition that the crowd are still behind him and unlike some critics named “Mike Bockwinkel” he deserves his spot on the card.
Marc Ryland introduces the last video of the SNW founder Austin Aries. Aries is shown in a lavish county house, smoking a pipe and sipping from a glass of port. He talks about how he’s asked to do an introduction every year and how he has to praise each and every one of his students. But Aries says that over the years he’s already told them all how incredible they are so they don’t need any more. He does talk about some of the younger talent who have come through the ranks since he’s left and said SNW has done a great job nurturing them. He promised he would return to SNW to “check out the competition”. MVP 1. Henry Edwards 2. Jordan Devine 3. Jack Powers 4. Chris Hammers 5. Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart - 2009: Chris Hammers 2010: Henry Edwards 2011: Ace Bennett
Henry Edwards steps up on stage to accept his second major award. He repeated some of his earlier speech saying it’s been a fantastic year. He thanked Austin Aries for training him and the SNW roster for bringing out the very best in him. He said many people deserved this award, Powers for his title win, Devine for leading RevX so well, Riley for such a fantastic year or Ace and Hart for the their title reign. So he is flattered to be considered let alone win the award. A short video then played to end the evening showing an updated list of the top 25 matches in SNW history. Riot Act V Special-Final Card-Warfare V: United Front (Jack Powers, Evan Pagano, Steven Kagemann, Zakk Static, Cain Jackal) vs. Revolution X (Chris Hammers, Jordan Devine, Riley Shamrock, Safu, LyNN) Henry Edwards vs. Mike Bockwinkel New Age Lady Killers and Cody Rejaro vs. Fire and the Fury and Jason Williams DUOS: Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart vs. AirDevils (Tom Gerard, Travis Cantrell) Street Fight: Jet Jaguar vs. Jacob Ryler Jack Joseph vs. Bret Thomas Carson Clark vs. A.J Matthews Rory Wiseman and DJ Hughes vs. Elliot Reid and Dean Caufield El Hijo de Angel Custodio vs Gareth Ashdown vs. Matt Spade Riot Act IV went down as the most successful show in SNW history. The fourth instalment of the summer spectacular broke record after record, amongst them highest DVD sales, three MOTYC and the best match in SNW history. One year on Riot Act returns in its fifth chapter. We rewind a year to have a look where some of the stars of Riot Act V were in Riot Act IV. Travis CantrellThis year at Riot Act V: Challenging for the Duos titles as part of the highly successful AirDevils group Last year at Riot Act IV: Was on a six-man student showcase, only available for Pre-orders. What he had to say: It’s been a hard year. I graduated from the student’s academy and had to fight to keep my roster spot as other students were released. Even when my tag partner left, I fought on and luckily was seen by the AirDevils. They asked me to join and since then we’ve been... well flying. Evan PaganoThis year at Riot Act V: Facing Revolution X in a Warfare match as part of the United Front in a bid to take control of SNW Last year at Riot Act IV: Facing Revolution X in a Warfare match as part of a three man team to stop RevX taking control of SNW. What he had to say: What a difference a year makes, but something’s stay the same. A year on, I’m fighting for a different cause. Some might say RevX have changed, their stronger, better, larger. But I say their wrong. They’re the same team but while last year I failed, this year I will win. I got a better team this year, who I believe in. This year RevX will die. Riley ShamrockThis year at Riot Act V: Fighting as part of SNW as a major member of Revolution X Last year at Riot Act IV: Was the first student to win a Trial match What he had to say: All of us former students have had a massive year. I remember Riot Act, it was my first iPPV, I was so excited. I went out there and got the win and couldn’t believe I’d done it. Looking back now, I can’t believe how far I’ve come. But I just gotta focus, focus on beating the United Front and make RevX proud. Johnny ArsenicThis year at Riot Act V: Fighting alongside his tag partner Vincent Fury in a bad blooded six-man tag Last year at Riot Act IV: Debuted as a mystery man to help Fury get the win What he had to say: Fury and I have done everything in our power to make ourselves the top team in SNW. I believe we’ve done that. However, we do miss the one thing that stops us holding that crown. The Duos titles. And if it wasn’t for those damn Lady Killers we’d have titles around our waists. But come Riot Act V, we’ll finally rid ourselves of them Chris HammersThis year at Riot Act V: Leading Revolution X against the incoming force, the United Front Last year at Riot Act IV: Leading Revolution X against a team who seeks to destroy them What he had to say: I think a lot has changed in a year for RevX. Devine has learnt what it is like to be a leader, Safu and LyNN have had another Duos title run and Riley has proved to be a brilliant addition to the squad. In many ways this could be said to be our greatest year. I go back to what I said last year “Tonight we see Revolution X at full health, at full power and full control. Now we are back, no-one can stop us. As the great Che said himself ‘In a Revolution, one triumphs or dies.’” This year we triumphed and I wasn’t even there, now I’m back nothing will stop us. And we start, with the United Front. Henry Edwards This year at Riot Act V: Faces off against Mike Bockwinkel Last year at Riot Act IV: Faced off against Ace Bennett in the best match in SNW history What he had to say: I’ve got some history at Riot Act huh? Defeated Nigel McGuinness at Riot Act 1 to retain the title, won the title again at Riot Act 2, missed Riot Act 3 from injury, re-won the title again at Riot Act 4. Well, it doesn’t look well for Bockwinkel huh? (laughs) Hey, its Bockwinkel fault I’m not gunning for the title this year, cause the Lord knows I’d beat that darn Jack Powers for my fourth title. Yes, it’s a shame there’s no title for me to win this year but it still means a lot to me. Bockwinkel has challenged me to prove why I’m always in the main event and I’m going to prove him and all my doubters wrong. Warfare HistoryWith the return of the highly popular Warfare match looming we check out the records the competitors have from the previous four Warfare matches. Revolution X has the obvious advantage with four out of five of their competitors having Warfare experience. And not just any Warfare experience as they top the table in both most appearances and most wins. In comparison, the United Front don’t look so experienced. Only Powers and Pagano have previous Warfare experience, with a win-loss record of less than half. At Riot Act V the records will change once again as SNW hosts Warfare 5. Jordan Devine 3-0* Chris Hammers 3-1 Safu 2-1 LyNN 2-1 Henry Edwards 1-0 Jushin "Thunder" Liger 1-0 Evan Pagano 1-1 Jack Powers 1-2 Daniel Sinn 0-1 Drew Parkland 0-1 Kevin Hart 0-1 Mike Hogan 0-1 Jacob Ryler 0-1 Jack Joseph 0-1 Mike Bockwinkel 0-2 *Replaced Bret Thomas at Warfare 3
