SNW 2015: A Year in Review
SNW kicked off 2015 with a continuation of their ‘One Night’ series, this time in Amsterdam as SNW presented ‘One Night in Holland’. SNW’s first show in Holland was huge success with Wasp, Riley Shamrock and the Fatality Squad all successfully defending their titles. In the main event, SNW held their first ever Klauteren. Mike Bockwinkel was lucky to walk away with the belt after Mike Hogan looked to become a two-time champion. The Klauteren also started a feud between Chris Hammers and Ace Bennett which would continue thoughout the first half of the year.
SNW stayed in Europe by travelling over to the United Kingdom for the Be the Best qualifiers and iPPV. Hogan proved his worth for title contention beating both Baby J and Cameron Stone to secure a title match against Bockwinkel in his hometown. Meanwhile four marched through to the semi-finals: FUSE Champ Riley Shamrock, Jack Powers, Safu and Kevin Hart. But the big news in qualifying was a riotus night in Scotland where Dave Demento became a viral star, verbally attacking a member of the audience.
At Be the Best iPPV, Riley and Hart advanced to the final where Riley won becoming the 2015 Be the Best winner while defending the FUSE Championship all along the way. In other action: Wasp fought to a draw with Beast Kong, the Squad retained again and Bockwinkel managed to retain against Hogan only after a surprise distraction by ISW’s Hunter Kellen.
It was nearly half way through the year but SNW still hadn’t hosted a show in America, this trend continued a little closer to home in Canada. Bockwinkel, Shamrock and the Squad all retained as SNW marched towards Riot Act 8. At SNW’s premier event: Wasp lost her title to Beast Kong in the first ever Women’s Falls Count Anywhere bout, the Squad notched up another defence against the Calgary Sons and Dave Demento retired Drew Parkland by booting him in the head. In the main events: RevX triumphed over Ace Bennett’s rag-tag team in Warfare, Kellen won in the ‘One Year in the Making’ inter-promotional bout over Mike Hogan and Riley Shamrock made history becoming the first man to hold the SNW World Championship and the SNW FUSE Championship at the same time.
SNW then brought back another staple, the Magnificent 10. With Jack Powers coming out on top. Meanwhile Riley Shamrock earnt his first defence and the Squad continued their reign. At SNW’s Anniversary show: Shamrock lost his FUSE title to Daniel Sinn but later went on to retain the SNW World title against Jack Powers. Kong and the Squad got defences and Demento met his match as he was beaten by Mike Hogan.
At SNW’s three night tag team blockbuster show, the Fatality Squad became the first team ever to enter Clash of the Duos as champions and leave as champions. They took on all challengers including teams from TCW and ISW and in the finals they beat Team Bennett. The SNW World Champion was also busy as he promised to put his title on the line every night, he also walked out as champion.
SNW then ended off their international year in Japan, making it three continents and five countries visited in one year. Over the five shows, many talents stood out, none more-so than RevX. Jordan Devine pinned the World Champion and as a result will receive a future title match. Meanwhile, Riley did defend on SNW’s final show against NJPW’s Shinsuke Nakamura. Mike Bockwinkel didn’t fair better as he was defeated by Kazuchika Okada. Mockingbird started a feud with Team Bennett as they traded wins. Jet Jaguar and Dave Demento became rivals, they met in six-man tags with Demento’s team always getting the win. Jaguar finally found the winning formula bringing in masked friends from NJPW. They also met in the Battle for Japan final where Demento came out on top to be crowned winner.

SNW 2016: Looking Ahead
Riley Shamrock: The ‘Young Gun’ had a blockbuster year, he entered 2015 as FUSE Champion then at SNW’s premier event he captured the SNW World Championship. Now the 3rd generation wrestler enters 2016 with a big target on his back. He’s already fought off challenges from the likes of former champion Mike Bockwinkel, former friend Jack Powers and former trainer Alex Shelley. But there are plenty of challengers, how long will Riley keep the belt or can he take the belt into 2017?
Revolution X: SNW’s longest running stable had a great end to the year and will look to continue that into 2016. Jordan Devine got a pinfall over the World Champion (and former stable-mate) and as a result will get the first World title match of the year. But what about Chris Hammers? The leader of the group hasn’t held singles gold in seven years? Can he force himself back into the title scene?
Fatality Squad: Can anyone stop these two? No seriously. Ever since winning the belts at Clash of the Duos 2014 they’ve been untouchable. They were the first ever team to walk into CoD as champions and leave as champions, they have the longest title reign in SNW history and the most defences. It’s hard to see who will top them. But SNW has set them a new task, an unprecedented third CoD win.
Mike Bockwinkel: The former SNW World Champion has been sharing his views on his title loss on YouTube. Bock has been slightly out of character, looking like this title loss may have hit him hard. Bock even pondered whether it was time to hang up the boots. Most of the fans expect it to be apart of an elaborate plan. He didn’t get any sympathy off his former tag team partner Nick Jacobs. Jacobs compared it to when Bock got Nick kicked out of SNW. Bock replied, seemingly now back to his old self and called Nick ‘Marty Jannety’. It seems like the fire between these two partners have just been relit.
Dave Demento: The tough talking hard hitter made 2015 his breakthrough year. It all came about in Scotland where he went on a foul mouthed tirade against a fan. Since then he’s battled former FUSE Champions and even SNW World Champions. He enters 2015 after just winning the Battle of Japan (last time it was held it was won by Ace Bennett, which launched his singles career). But he has found a rival in Jet Jaguar. Jaguar, fresh from a year learning in Japan, will return to SNW in 2016 and will look to beat the foul mouthed hard hitter.
Mike Hogan: The London born lad will continue SNW’s relationship with NJPW by joining the company on loan for an initial period of 8 months. Youngster Noah Lee will be joining him on tour. Hogan has taken his fellow Londoner under his wing recently so this is no surprise. Apparently Pro Wrestling NOAH were upset that SNW chose to partner with NJPW on their recent tour and as a result have broken up the promotion relationship. Previously SNW had a good partnership with both NOAH and NJPW. SNW still has many good relationships with other companies aside from that of NJPW, most notably Nick Bockwinkel Productions in particular TCW.
Women’s Division: Beast Kong is running through women on the SNW roster, it’s hard to see who will stop her. Luckily for SNW they have a small bunch of women training at the SNW academy. Drew Parkland and Jacob Ryler provide the main training. Expect to see a few new faces in the women’s division this year. The pick of the bunch is 20 year old Taliah Winters who is expected to debut early on in the year.
Schedule: SNW has released their show schedule for 2016 (although this in only provisional, so can be changed at any time by SNW). The most notable points are: the Clash of the Duos has been moved forward to the start of the year to give the Fatality Squad a challenge, Riot Act has changed back to roman numerals and for the first time will be held in Canada, the UK will host both EIGHT and the Magnificent 10, the previously announced Champions Carnival which will be a tournament for the reigning World Champion will be on iPPV and will either be 2 or 3 nights, and the year will close, like in 2015, with a tour but it is currently unknown where.
Provisional SNW 2016 Schedule January- One Night in India (iPPV) March- Clash of the Duos 2016 (iPPV) (3 Nights) April- 2 BtB qualifiers May- 1 BtB qualifier and tiebreaker June- Be the Best 2016 (iPPV) Nutter Center in Dayton, OH July- Riot Act IX (iPPV) Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada August- Champions Carnival 2016 (iPPV) (2/3 Nights) September- Magnificent 10, O2 ABC in Glasgow, Scotland October- EIGHT (Anniversary Show) (iPPV) Alexandra Palace in London, England November- Unannounced Tour December- Unannounced Tour (Continued)

One Night in India Live from Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune, India only on SNW Player
SNW World Championship Riley Shamrock vs. Jordan Devine It’s mentor versus teacher, it’s the battle of the former Revolution X leader against the ‘Young Gun’ who caused him so many problems. But now the student has surpassed the teacher and won what Devine never has, the SNW World title. Devine pinned Shamrock in Japan, if he does so in India, he’ll be the new champion.
Tag Team Grudge Match Team Bennett (Ace Bennett and Matt Spade) vs. Mockingbird (Elliot Reid and Dean Caufield) This will be the third and final match between these two tag team rivals. Both teams have won one match, who will come out on top? The popular veterans or the cocky youths?
Rematch from Japan Chris Hammers vs. Kevin Hart In Shizuoka, Japan one World Champion pinned another when ‘Calgary’s Own’ Kevin Hart defeated the ‘Irish Doomsday’. Can he get another win over the RevX leader in this match that has World title implications?
SNW Duos Championships Fatality Squad (Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann) vs. Revolution X (Safu and LyNN) The Squad have been dominant ever since winning the belt at Clash of the Duos two years ago, can RevX dethrone them on their final stop before they attempt to become the first team ever to win Clash of the Duos three years in a row!
Old Feuds Die Hard Mike Bockwinkel vs. Nick Jacobs An old feud was re-opened in Japan, formerly the longest reigning Duos Champions the Gentlemen’s Club found themselves on opposite sides of the ring. They will find themselves on the opposite side of the ring again in India.
It Came From Japan! Dave Demento vs. Jet Jaguar Another two who battled in Japan were Demento and Jaguar, they battled in a variety of matches trading wins. Who will come out on top when these two young rivals meet in India.
SNW FUSE Championship: Daniel Sinn vs. Jason Williams vs. Sonjay Dutt ‘The Original Playa from the Himalayas’ comes to SNW, can he win the FUSE title? He’ll have a tough task as he’ll face champion ‘Widowmaker’ Daniel Sinn and fellow challenger Jason Williams.
Jack Powers vs. Cody Rejero Another story that came from Japan was the shock win by the ‘Pepsi King’ over Jack Powers. Can the former SNW World Champion avenge his loss?
AirDevils (Carson Clark, Tom Gerard and Travis Cantrell) vs. Joseph Brothers (Jack and Matt Joseph) and El Hijo de Angel Custodio Six-man action as the AirDevils trio face the Joseph Brothers and El Hijo in this ariel dual.
Cameron Stone, Jacob Ryler, Baby J Jamerson and Cain Jackal vs. Parkland Bros (Duke and Axel Parkland), Joseph Stone and a Debuting Youngster Eight man action will take place in India, with a debut included.

I've been behind on this but I still love that it's going strong. Hart/Hammers is always good so I look forward to that.

One Night in India Live from Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune, India only on SNW Player
There’s not a great crowd for SNW’s debut in India but that is to be expected. It’s still a few hundred which is pretty good considering the fans don’t know anyone and are likely just casual wrestling fans.
1) FUSE: Daniel Sinn vs. Jason Williams vs. Sonjay Dutt: Great way to kick off the show, the ring announcer did a great job putting over Dutt who had a hero’s welcome in Pune. Lots of good action with Dutt and Williams trying to outdo each other and Sinn playing off then perfectly. Sonjay hit the 450 Press on Jason but then Sinn broke up the count dragging Dutt to the middle of the ring and hitting the Original Sinn to retain.
2) Cameron Stone, Jacob Ryler, Baby J Jamerson and Cain Jackal vs. Parkland Bros, Noah Lee and Joseph Stone and Ken Slayer: The debut was Ken Slayer, son of the late SFF legend Ricky Slayer. This was a bit of an odd one this, without any pre-show SNW seems to have shoved all their roster into the main card thanks to two big mulit-man matches. It worked, that’s because they just come off the Japan tour where multi-mans were common. Parkland’s are looking better and better, Joseph squared up to his father before being taken down by Baby J and Slayer looked good on his debut hitting an impressive looking Sling Blade. Ryler turned on his team (he’s a face in a team of heels) leading to Duke hitting the KFC on Jackal for the win.
3) Dave Demento vs. Jet Jaguar: Great match, top top top match. Two young athletes just went at it. Jaguar has always showed promise. Early on his big rival was Riley Shamrock but he went onto bigger things while Jag was left behind, now might be Jag’s time to shine. It was worked like an X Division match with plenty of pace which is credit to Demento as he usually works a much different style. Jag hit an incredible springboard supercanrana for a close count but Demento went to his strong style roots catching Jag with a spinning backfist and hitting the Punt kick.
4) Mike Bockwinkel vs. Nick Jacobs: This match never got started. If this was in North America or even the UK this would have just been a segment with both men talking. However, as it worked out, Bock attacked Nick when he made his entrance, brawled a bit about ringside and hit Nick a few times with a chair before staff and wrestlers pulled him away.
5) AirDevils vs. Joseph Brothers and El Hijo de Angel Custodio: In the second multi-man match Clark, Gerard and Cantrell took on Jack and Matt and El Hijo. As you would expect from a match with so many highflyers, this was crazzzzzeeeeeyy. Devils are such a good trio and with Clark a 100% fit they are going to put on better and better matches. The Joseph’s played off them well but suffered from there being so many great tag teams around, otherwise they’d be Duos Champs. El Hijo took the fall, only after a three man Bombs Away.
6) Jack Powers vs. Cody Rejero: This was one of the rematches from Japan, in that match Cody got the upset win over the former World Champion. In this match, Jack worked over Cody’s arm, it was great ring work but I’m not sure the fans appreciated the bout as much as some Americans would back in the States. Cody got a slow comeback, and went for the Pepsi Driver, his arm gave way and Jack capitalised, locked in the Russian Armbar for the submission win.
7) DUOS: Fatality Squad vs. Revolution X: RevX were once again challenging for the belts, this time the Duos titles and in this one it was Safu and LyNN. The team from RevX played the unusual faces to the dominant teaming of Kagemann and Thomas. The Squad are the longest reigning and most successful champions in SNW history and it was RevX’s job to stop them. This was different to the rest of the Squad’s defences as Safu gave them a threat they have never dealt with before. But in time Safu was worn down and then they could pick on LyNN. Safu took the fall after a Double Stomp from Kagemann but only after the big Samoan had hit a Samoan Drop on Thomas.
Intermission. A range of SNW stars were out at the break, most of the crowd didn’t take any notice, only the younger fans.
8) Chris Hammers vs. Kevin Hart: These two just went out and kicked into top gear before they even went into first. Great sprint match helped by an excited crowd. Hammers just worked away on Hart but the second Triple Crown Champ wasn’t to be outdown, he shot straight back. All the big moves were out, Hammers’ Lariat and Liger Bomb hit but the Last Minute Orders was countered out of. Meanwhile, Hart hit the apron Tigerbomb and the Sharpstooter but Hammers got the knees up to the 450. In the end Hammers countered the Maple Leaf Revenge, hit the ropes to hit a Lariat and followed it up with the Last Minute Orders to get the win.
9) SNW: Riley Shamrock vs. Jordan Devine: Because the last match was a sprint bout, these two could have a full style main event. It was likely booked this way because maybe the Indian fans would be bored with two big main event matches back-to-back. The start of the match had the two men locking up and exchanging wins on each other. Riley then took advantage taking out the knee and using submissions to wear down Devine. Eventually, Devine managed to get out of it sending Riley to the apron but then a suplex sent both men to the floor. They brawled for a bit before Jord sent Riley into the crowd and tried to get him counted out. Riley entered back in at the count of 19 and Jord took control. He hit an early Devinity but Riley powered out with the arm. The match went back and forth with another spill to the outside with Riley hitting an over the top Suicide Dive. Devine seemed to injure his elbow from the dive, Riley saw this and focused in. The match wore on with Devine still having plenty of good chances. But Riley countered the second Devinity with an Irish Welcoming. Jord somehow managed to kick out but Riley was quick on it, locking in the Ode to Shamrock for the submission victory.
10) Team Bennett vs. Mockingbird: A very bold move by SNW to put a tag match on last and it’s not even for the titles! These two faced off twice in Japan with each team getting one win, now it was the decider. With it being the main event the wrestlers must have felt a lot of pressure, especially the youngsters Mockingbird but whatever pressure they felt they didn’t show it, it was an awesome match. The action started off slow but in the final stages all four men were in full flight. Plenty of great spots and excellent story telling. A tower of doom was a highlight as was stereo dives to the floor by Mockingbird. The Birds even stole a AirDevils’ finisher, hitting a Sky High for a close call. But the experienced Ace and Spade didn’t lie down without a fight, they went to town on the cocky youngsters getting plenty of near falls, none closer than Ace’s Syracuse Drop which got a wicked reaction from the crowd (One loud Oww, then silence, then claps when Elliot kicked out). Mockingbird hit the Sunset Flip/Dropkick combo but Spade kicked out. The MBirds didn’t know what else to do so they resorted to cheating. It nearly came back to haunt them but in the end but Reid saved his partner from the Syracuse Drop with his own on Ace. Dean then hit a corkscrew to the floor to take out Spade. Reid then got the pin in the ring, they did it!

Key Clash of the Duos Winners Eliminated in the Finals Eliminated in Semi-Finals Eliminated in Quarter-Finals Eliminated in Round of 16 / Eliminated in Qualifiers (2010 only)
Fatality Squad Bret Thomas (8-3) and Steven Kagemann (8-4) Best Finish: Winners 2014 and 2015 The reigning champions have already broken records, most defences and longest reign, now they have their sights set on becoming the first team to win three consecutive Clash of the Duos.
Team Bennett Ace Bennett (4-6) and Matt Spade (6-3) Best Finish: Finalists 2015 Ace and Matt came so close last year and boosted their records. They have another year teaming under their belt, is this their time?
AirDevils Tom Gerard (12-6) and Travis Cantrell (6-3) Best Finish: Finalists 2013 Always the underdog, never the frightened. Tom and Travis are looking to follow in the footsteps of their stables win in 2011.
Mockingbird Dean Caufield and Elliot Reid (4-3) Best Finish: Semi Finals 2015 After their big win in India the Mockingbirds are favourites to topple the unstoppable. Can the cocky youngsters go all the way?
The Parkland Bros Duke (0-3) and Axel Parkland (0-2) Best Finish: Round of 16, 2014 and 2015 The sons of Drew Parkland have never won a match at Clash at the Duos but now they have over three years of experience teaming together. Can they pull off a shocker?
Joseph Brothers Jack (3-5) and Matt Joseph (2-2) Best Finish: Quarter Finals, 2014 and 2015 The highflying brothers always wow but not always get the win. Can they break out from the bigger teams and win the big one?
Revolution X1 Chris Hammers and Jordan Devine Best Finish: Finalists 2010 Revolution X had a great end to 2015, it didn’t exactly go to plan in India, although Hammers is no.1 contender, Jord lost his title bout. Can they do better as a team?
Revolution X2 Safu (8-6) and LyNN (8-5) Best Finish: Finalists 2011 Safu and LyNN were the latest team to fall to the dominant reigning champions, can they bounce back and get revenge?
Cameron Stone (1-3) and Baby J Jamerson (Debut) Best Finish: Quarterfinals 2013 (Cam Only) Formerly Bockwinkel’s men but now their trust in Bock has faded, they go their own way but Stone will have a challenge to carry rookie Baby J.
Jacob Ryler (0-4) and El Hijo de Angel Custodio (0-3) Best Finish: Round of 16, 2012, 2014 and 2015 These two have never had luck in Clash of the Duos, can they finally beat their bad luck streak.
Carson Clark (6-3) and Jet Jaguar (0-2) Best Finish: Winner 2011 (Clark Only) On paper this seems like the perfect team, two of the best highflyers in the business teaming up. Clark is the leader of the AirDevils, what will he do if he comes up against his partners?
Jack Powers (0-3) and Jason Williams (1-6) Best Finish: Quarter Final 2010 (Jason Only) The former United Front teammates join together to hopefully better their awful records. Is this a new start for the United Front?
Joseph Stone and Ken Slayer (Debuts) Two second generation wrestlers look to make the ultimate impact, a win here even just one win would do wonders for these two rookies.
Your Mom Cody Rejero (1-5) and Baz Hepburn (Debut) Best Finish: Quarter Final 2010 (Cody Only) Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, SNW and Synergy Wrestling proudly present the team of the ‘Pepsi King’ Cody Rejero and ‘Rock n Roll’ Baz Hepburn. And their entering CoD for the first time!
Kevin Hart (3-6) and Shaun 'El Tiger' (Debut) Best Finish: Semi Finals 2011 (Hart Only) Hart’s never had much luck with partners, he did best with his rival Mike Hogan. After a successful NJPW tour El Tiger returns to SNW, a few wins here he might comeback fulltime.
The Gentlemen’s Club Mike Bockwinkel (3-6) and Nick Jacobs (1-3) Best Finish: Semi Finals 2010 It’s an odd one, these two were scrapping at our last event in India. Now they are going to team up. But it makes sense, the best they have done at Clash of Duos is together. Can they make it work? Unlikely.
Night 1 Line-ups:
DUOS: Fatality Squad vs. Jacob Ryler and El Hijo de Angel Custodio
Team Bennett vs. Jack Powers and Jason Williams
AirDevils vs. Carson Clark and Jet Jaguar

CLASH OF THE DUOS 2016 Night 1 Live from the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, MD only on SNW Player
1) CoD: AirDevils vs. Carson Clark and Jet Jaguar: Great way to open the show, lots of highflying. Clark didn’t hold back against his teammates but in the end came up short, he fell to his own tag finisher the Bombs Away.
The Devils were backstage. They said they will go all the way like they did in 2011. Clark then appeared, he looked a little cold at first. Then he hugged his partners and wished them well.
2) CoD: Team Bennett vs. Jack Powers and Jason Williams: Ace and Spade got a great reaction, they were up against the two members of the former United Front, who worked pretty good together. Jason got taken out by a diving Spade while Bennett hit Powers with the Syracuse Drop to seal the win.
Team Bennett were backstage and said that they came close last year but this year they will take the tourney and the belts. They asked Clive what he thought and as usual, he wasn’t paying attention.
3) CoD: Revolution X2 vs. Kevin Hart and Shaun 'El Tiger': Safu and LyNN had a tough task as they faced a former World Champ and an Original 16 member who was making his return. Tiger looked good playing the underdog then he tagged out to Hart. Hart put up a good fight but fell to Safu’s Swinging Samoan Slam.
4) CoD: Mockingbird vs. Joseph Stone and Ken Slayer: The crowd in Baltimore gave the son of the late Ricky Slayer a hard time chanting ‘You’re not as good as your Dad’. Which is harsh considering he’s only 19. He and Cam’s son put up a good fight against the cocky MDogs but the favourites to go all the way continued to advance after the Sunset Flip/Dropkick.
Mockingbird were backstage after their win. They heeled it up big time, calling each other ‘bro’ and pointed to their recent wins over Team Bennett, stating that 2016 was their year.
5) CoD: Joseph Brothers vs. Cameron Stone and Baby J Jamerson: Pretty fun match, almost like a comedy match since Baby J couldn’t handle the Joseph bros, while his partner old man Stone could. The Joseph’s took Cam over the top then Matt hit a dive. Jack then hit the Pele on J for the three count.
6) CoD: The Gentlemen’s Club vs. Parkland Bros: Bit of an odd bout, Nick and Bock couldn’t get on. They tried to but ended up brawling with one another. Jacobs went for the Jacobs Drop on his own partner but then Bock low blowed him. Nick rolled out of the ring and Bock was crushed between two dropkicks from the Parklands.
Intermission. The AirDevils were out at the break, they talked to the crowd and signed autographs.
7) CoD: Revolution X1 vs. Your Mom: Hammers and Devine looked to follow their teammates into the next round, they had the tough challenge of beating Cody and Baz of Your Mom. Your Mom played the massive underdog, taking a beating from both Hammers and Devine, Somehow, Baz and Cody scored the upset, countering the Last Minute Orders and being rolled up.
Cody and Baz were backstage celebrating their win. Cody said he knew they would win, Baz said he didn’t. They both looked at each other then laughed. Cody then opened up to cans of Pepsi to celebrate but Hammers and Devine took them both out, attacking them from behind.
8) SNW: Riley Shamrock vs. Daniel Sinn: The “Widow maker” Daniel Sinn got this opportunity after pinning the champ at the Anniversary show when he won the FUSE title. It was a good back and forth bout with plenty of technical wizardry. Riley worked over the arm and made sure Sinn wasn’t the second man to hold both the SNW World and FUSE Championships as he locked in the Ode to Shamrock and Sinn tapped.
9) CoD: DUOS: Fatality Squad vs. Jacob Ryler and El Hijo de Angel Custodio: On paper this was an odd main event, Ryler and El Hijo are not main event material. So the only reason for putting his match on last is for the shock title change. So the fans were very into this and behind the underdogs. Like most of the Squad’s title defences, they were dominant. However, when Ryler and El Hijo went on the offence the fans went mental. In the end it ended like all the other defences, the Ball and Chain put the spirited challengers down for the count.

CLASH OF THE DUOS 2016 Night 2 Live from the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, MD only on SNW Player
1) CoD: Revolution X2 vs. Parkland Bros: Safu and LyNN were looking to make up for the mistake of Hammers and Devine by reaching the next round. They faced the young Parkland bros who had plenty of fight but were second best for much of the match. However, the Parkland’s roared back and sealed the win with the Confederacy Choke on LyNN.
The Parklands were backstage bouncing round after scoring a big win. They said they just needed two more wins and they’d be champions.
2) FUSE battle royal: Ken Slayer defeated Ryler, El Hijo, Jaguar, Noah, J. Stone, Baby J and Cam Stone: A tradition of night two of CoD, a battle royal to determine who will challenge for the FUSE title on the final night. The main battle of the match was Slayer and Joseph Stone versus Joseph’s father Cameron and Baby J. However, there were other fun battles. With so many highflyers, a lot of the eliminations came from being pushed off the top or other similar ways. It came down to Slayer and Cam Stone after he had eliminated his son. Slayer got heat from the fans despite playing babyface. He managed to out manoeuvre old Stone and clothesline him over the top to win.
Ken Slayer and Cameron Stone were backstage. They were hyped about Ken’s win. Ken said that it’s great that he has been given this opportunity. He then talked about the crowd reaction and said he would earn their cheers if he had to. Stone spoke about battling his father and said he thinks that isn’t the last we’ve seen of Cam and Baby J.
3) CoD: AirDevils vs. Mockingbird: Holy highflying shiz Batman, everyone knew what we were going to see in this bout. Their feet barely touched the floor and the match was a treat, it was kept short as the match was played like a sprint. The AirDevils looked like they would wrap up the win with the Bombs Away but Elliot avoided it and rolled Travis up. To make sure of the win Elliot held onto the ropes for extra leverage to seal the win.
Mockingbird cockily walked onto the interview set. They said they are undoubtedly the best team in SNW today and soon everyone will realise that.
The AirDevils of Travis Cantrell and Tom Gerard entered the interview set dejected. The Devils said Mockingbird cannot keep cheating their way to win. They said they would get their comeuppance.
4) SYN: Dave Demento vs. El Hijo del Angel Custodio: Demento cut a promo before the bout, saying he is the best in Synergy and will soon prove to be the best in SNW. It was a good back and forth match, Demento worked well with the Mexican lucha style but still kept his trademark charisma. He blocked a springboard with a spinning backfist then hit the F***tard for the win.
Chris Hammers, Jordan Devine and Amy Lee of Revolution X walked to the ring. Hammers said about how upset they were being eliminated last night. But said RevX is all about moving forward and they issued and open challenge now. Kevin Hart came out and said he’d be happy to fight. Hammers told him he needed a partner and this brought out Carson Clark. The odd pair started marching down to the ring but then they were interrupted by a new female who suggested they make it a ‘three way’, much to the amusement of the crowd.
5) Chris Hammers, Jordan Devine and Amy Lee vs. Kevin Hart, Carson Clark and Taliah Winters: The new girl was Taliah Winters who spent most of last year working at SNW’s academy, it shows why she was given the debut here because she looked good (in both ways). She matched up to Amy well. Meanwhile, Rev X were in control against Hart and Clark until the last minuites for a big comeback. Hart went on a roll, hitting the Maple Leaf Revenge on Hammers while Clark took out Devine with a dive. Taliah then made the perfect debut by making former Women’s champ Amy tap out to the Texas Cloverleaf.
Intermission. The Parkland siblings were out at the break, Rose was especially vocal telling everyone “My brothers are gonna win tha Clash of the Duos”.
6) CoD: Team Bennett vs. Joseph Brothers: Both teams were looking to get into the final four and both teams tore into each other to get there. Fans were split but just about on Ace and Spade’s side. There was a wicked counter to the Syracuse Drop as Jack held on and went for the top rope Pele, Spade sacrificed himself and was hit by the Pele. Ace then hit a kick on the outside then springboarded in to knee Jack and follow it up with the Syracuse Lock.
Mike Bockwinkel walked to the ring in a fine Italian suit. He cut a great promo saying he has lost a lot in the last year but he hasn’t lost two things: his style and his hatred for Nick Jacobs. Nick Jacobs then made his way out, he talked about their history and said their final chapter is unwritten. Jacobs said he will write it in Bock’s blood. Jacobs walked down from the ring but Bock backed out and made his exit.
7) SNW: Riley Shamrock vs. Jason Williams: I don’t really know why Jason is getting a Word title shot but the fans in attendance didn’t really complain. It wasn’t given main event time but with the speed that Jason moves, he doesn’t need a lot of time. A complete mix of styles here as the technician Riley struggled with Jason’s highflying offence. But Riley’s gameplan worked, he worked over the leg all match and after a strikefest, Riley kicked at the knee, Jason’s leg buckled and Riley was quick to lock in a leg lock for the submission win. Riley made his way backstage, he said that he enjoyed the challenge and is looking forward to tomorrow where he once again will put the title on the line.
8) CoD: DUOS: Fatality Squad vs. Your Mom: Cody and Baz pulled out a huge upset at the last show, beating Chris Hammers and Jordan Devine but they got beaten down afterwards. They had an even tougher challenge here as they had to beat the unbeatable, the longest reigning champions Thomas and Kagemann. After their beatdown last night Your Mom was pretty damaged. They took more of a beating here but still managed brief comebacks. Fans were fully behind the team known as Your Mom and some expected a title change. But the Squad continued their reign with another Ball and Chain to roll into the final night. They can't win three Clash of the Duos, can they?

CLASH OF THE DUOS 2016 Night 3 Live from the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, MD only on SNW Player
1) CoD: Mockingbird vs. Parkland Bros: Big opener, two young teams had the chance to win this and move onto the final. Caufield and Reid are 22 and 23 years old respectively and have really shone recently with their new cocky attitude. Meanwhile the Parkland’s have been the darkhorses of the tournament after never winning a CoD match before this tournament. The Parkland’s are even younger than their oppenents, being 20 and 18 years old and the experience was a factor early on. But after a little bit of isolation these two teams kicked into top gear early. The Birds went highflying but the fans got behind the sons of Drew Parkland which helped them greatly. The Birds couldn’t find a way through so they tried to cheat. This didn’t work as the Parklands saw it coming, Axel locked in the Confederacy Choke while his elder brother stopped Caufield from breaking up the pin. The Parkland’s advance to the finals.
Parklands were slightly shocked at their win, they left quickly with their sister. Meanwhile Mockingbird was left in the ring, dejected at their loss. They left eventually but many thought this would be their year.
2) CoD: DUOS: Fatality Squad vs. Team Bennett: The last match didn’t follow the script and the fans were wondering if SNW would follow that with this bout. The fans have been waiting for the Squad to slip up all tournament and they met their trickiest oppenets yet. This rematch of last year’s final was a great follow up to what was already a great match. This match followed the more traditional formula, as the Squad beat down Spade. They built up the hot tag and the fans went mental when Spade tagged out to SNW’s first ever Triple Crown Champion. Ace cleared up, even hitting a dive to the outside onto Thomas and Kagemann. He went back in the ring to finish the match off with the Sycaruse Drop on Kagemann only for Thomas to break it up. The Squad then went for a standard doomsday device but with the roles reversed. The big man Thomas hit the clothesline off the top for a close count but Spade broke it up. The match wore on with the Squad going for the move that always finishes their matches the pop up doomsday called the Ball and Chain only for Ace to counter into a rana. But the Squad fought on and got the win with their old finisher, the Fall / Double Stomp combo. The Squad retain and advance to the finals to meet the Parkland brothers.
3) FUSE: Daniel Sinn vs. Ken Slayer: Drastic change of pace as the secondary title now took centre stage. Some thought Slayer might win it here considering this was one of his first matches. Fans didn’t like this quick push and chanted ‘you’re not as good as your dad’, harsh considering he’s just starting out. The match itself was just a beating, Sinn beat Slayer from pillar to post. He even stopped to mock the second generation stars shouting ‘Parklands, Stones and now Slayers what’s next little Rejero’s?’ Slayer had one or two comebacks but in the end fell to the Original Sinn.
4) Mike Bockwinkel, Jack Powers and Dave Demento vs. Nick Jacobs, Cody Rejero and Joseph Stone: This six-man tag was made to feature the feud between Bock and Jacobs. However, Bock avoided Jacobs like the plague. The highlight of the match was Demento, he looks a real bright character for the future. The end stretch was the typical finisher run: Demento’s F***tard on Stone, a Pepsi Driver on Demento, a Powers Suplex on Cody and a Jacobs drop on Powers. But it was Bockwinkel with the pin after all this with a roll up on rival Jacobs, with a handful of tights.
After the match, Jacobs complained to the referee. Bock looked like he was leaving, then realised Nick wasn’t looking at him. So he grabbed a chair from the audience and entered back in the ring. He swung it at Jacobs hitting him hard across the back of the head and neck. Bock then focused on the arm, smashing the chair into his arm. Then placing the battered chair over his arm and stomping on it. Cody and Joseph then ran in but it looks like the damage is already done.
5) Amy Lee and Beast Kong vs. Wasp and Taliah Winters: Last night, new roster member Taliah had Amy Lee’s number making her tap to the Texas Cloverleaf. This was a good tag match which also featured the Women’s champ, Beast Kong. Kong looked strong as always but Wasp had some offence in at her. It was Wasp with an apron dropkick to the floor on the champ that opened it up for Taliah to reverse Amy’s Downward Spiral and get the win with a pin from a bridge.
Taliah mocked Amy up the ramp, holding up two fingers in one hand and zero in the other. She’s pinned Amy twice and looked really good in doing so.
6) Revolution X vs. AirDevils and Jet Jaguar: It was Hammers, Devine, Safu and LyNN for RevX against Clark, Gerard, Cantrell and Jaguar. The story behind Jag is that he teamed with Clark on night 1 unsuccessfully, funnily enough against Clark’s teammates. But this wasn’t seen as a tryout for Jag to join, just they needed an extra man. It was a fun bout with the Devils and Jag understandably playing the underdogs. That was until the faces managed to get in offence and suddenly they were flying all about the place. Some great dives including a four sided ring dive from all the Devils and Jag. However, there was only one way this match was going. RevX won via a Lariat from Hammers on Cantrell.
Intermission. Team Bennett was out at the break. That’s all of them: Ace, Spade, Alicia and even Clive.
7) SNW: Riley Shamrock vs. Kevin Hart: Big semi-main event. It seems like Riley’s nickname has changed from the ‘Young Gun’ to the ‘Gun Slinger’. The commentators were pushing it hard and Riley had a new T-shirt with it on. Both men got duelling chants to start. Then they locked up, they did the usual I-beat-you-then-you-beat-me spot before Riley just lit up Hart with kicks. ‘That’s why they call him the Gun Slinger’ commented commentator Edward Colgate. Yes, they really are pushing the new nickname. The two then kicked it into the finishing stretch early, probably due to the finals going on last. Hart hit a sick brainbuster on the apron. Riley was nearly counted out then later on Riley hit a dive over the top rope for Hart to try to get back in the ring. A springboard dropkick then brought Riley back in the ring. The champ went for the Irish Welcoming but Hart slipped out of it. He hit the superkick and went for the Sharpshooter. But Riley reversed into an impromptu small package. Hart kicked out but was met by a head kick. This stunned Hart allowing the ‘Gun Slinger’ to hit the Irish Welcoming for another successful title defence.
8) CoD: DUOS: Fatality Squad vs. Parkland Bros: It was all about the tag teams in the main event. The Squad have been dominant for the last two years and were looking to make this their third straight Clash of the Duos win. Meanwhile, the Parklands have been really darkhorses to win this tournament. They have never won a CoD match before this tournament and now they’re in the finals. The Squad has defeated Ryler and El Hijo, Your Mom and Team Bennett on their way to the finals while the Parkland’s have beat the Gentlemen’s Club, Safu and LyNN and the Mockingbirds. The Squad dominated the Parklands and threatened Rose whenever she tried to build up some momentum for her brothers. For the first ten minutes, the match seemed like a real a** whopping. The fans were expecting the same old Ball and Chain finish and the Squad to continue their incredible reign. That is until the hot tag was made. The hottest of all hot tags. The eldest son of Drew Parkland, Duke came flying in with reckless disregard for his own health. He threw himself around and the Squad couldn’t handle him. When they finally got him to the floor, his brother had a second wind and he went at them like a mad-man (abit like Kagemann himself). They managed to subdue Axel with the Fall/Double Stomp combo but Duke broke up the count. Annoyed by Rose on the outside, constantly getting the crowd behind her brothers, Thomas grabbed her and set her up for the Fall. Duke made the save but not for long. The Squad then called for the end, setting up for the Ball and Chain on Duke. But Axel managed to hit a jumping kick on the apron which sent Kagemann from the top rope to the ring ropes and onto the floor. This allowed Duke to escape the pop-up powerbomb with a small package. Duke held him down for the three-count, we have new champs!
They done it! The Parkland Bros have overcome the odds and become the 2016 Clash of the Duos Champions. And in winning the tournament they become the 19th SNW Duos Champions. The Squad were shocked, they’re record breaking title reign has come to an end. The fans celebrated they’re new champions. Duke and Axel held aloft the titles and the trophy and they’re sister Rose joined in the celebration.

Great show and write up. Always enjoy seeing Kevin Hart in SNW Title matches, even if he comes up short. The main event was good as once again, the Clash of the Duos brings us new champions. Here's to this hopefully reaching 100 pages.

Synergy Issue #14
1) Cain Jackal, “El Hijo Nature Boy” Pedro Flair and Joseph Stone vs. Justin Allusion, Ken Slayer and Liam Hendrick: Big six man tag action to kick off with. Parkland announced on Twitter that the first batch of students from the fifth class would be debuting tonight. Hendrick is a young Brit from Portsmouth, he didn’t have to do much but bumped well which is always a good sign. Slayer looked good here too, it was his side who played the faces. However, the heels got the win after a Spear from Jackal on Hendrick.
2) WOM: Beast Kong vs. Taliah Winters: Another student of the fifth class made her debut recently on the main card now she made her Synergy debut. It’s clear that Winters has a bright future in SNW but was put away in this spirited affair after the Sitdown Powerbomb which is now known as the Kong Bomb.
3) Jacob Ryler and Carl Simmons vs. Daniel Sinn and Simon Glockerburg: Two more fifth class students made their debut tagging with two experienced Pros. Simmons and Glockerbug couldn’t be less different in shape. Simmons is a tall muscular amature bodybuilder while Glock is a skinny kid with a passing resemblance to Kick Ass. The students had a little bit of action, they looked aright but still green. Carl was a badass with a few lariats and even a back body drop on Glock where he held him in the air for close to a minute. The vets ended the match as Sinn put Ryler away with the Original Sinn.
4) Drew Parkland and Rose Parkland vs. Baby J Jamerson and Kourtney Love: Inter-gender tag action as old man Drew was back in action. He led Jamerson through a good match with some comedy added in. The women did they’re thing, Rose is starting to improve as for the first time she wasn’t awful. Parkland hit the KFC which got a great reaction from the fans.
Jet Jaguar made his way to the ring and waited for his opponent. The sound of sci-fi show “Doctor Who” hit and Cody emerged from the back in a dark coat ala Peter Capaldi, then revealed a sonic screwdriver from his coat pocket.
5) Jet Jaguar vs. Cody Rejero: Fun singles match to lead into the break. There was a bit of comedy to start with Cody using his Screwdriver to make Jaguar dance. these two could have worked a very good match if this was SNW but it was toned down for the family audience. That didn’t stop Jag from busting out an Asai Moonsault. Back in the ring Jag hit the TTM to take the win.
Intermission. The Parkland siblings were out at the break. They are always loved in their home promotion, they were showing off their newly won SNW Duos titles. They announced that Duke and Axel are defending the titles tonight against Mockingbird.
6) SYN: Dave Demento vs. Baz Hepburn: This was good action to welcome the fans back from the break. Baz is a semi-regular but showings like this show how much help he can be in Synergy helping the younger guys. He put over Demento very well here, playing the underdog and having great comebacks with the crowd right behind him. He still got put away with the running punt kick allowing Demento's reign to continue.
7) DUOS: Parkland Bros vs. Mockingbird: Great main event, not as good as we’d see between these two on SNW but still a good match especially considering it’s a Synergy Show. We saw some high spots: a tower of doom, MBirds stereo dives and a Doomsday Device. The Parkland were cheered throughout in their home promotion and the MBirds garnered heat well. Duke took out Reid while Axel hit the KFC on Caufield to retain.

Be the Best 2016 UpdateBe the Best returns for 2016. Just like the previous years, the rules remain the same. The matches will be held over the next three SNW shows with any tiebreakers being decided on the 4th show. The leaders of each block will advance to Be the Best iPPV, where the four block leaders will face off in two singles matches. The winners of the two singles matches advance to the finals where the winner will get a shot at the SNW World Championship at Riot Act IX. Below are the entrants for the 2016 Be the Best and their best position. Below that is the 4 blocks and how the tournament works. Each competitor will face each other once inside their own block. The match result will correspond to certain points. The competitor with the highest score in each block will advance though to the final four. The final four will then face off on the Be the Best iPPV to truly decide who will Be the Best. The matches will take place over three shows in three weeks with any tiebreakers taking place on the fourth show. How the blocks work: A win earns the competitor 2 points, a loss earns a competitor nothing and any type of draw will give both men 1 point each. Dancing in the Dark Bruce Springsteen Weekend – Night 1 Be the Best Qualifying – Night 1
1) BLOCK A: Jordan Devine vs. Matt Spade: Fun back-and-forth match to kick off with RevX’s Devine getting the win with the Devinity.
2) BLOCK A: Cody Rejero vs. Daniel Sinn: Another match that could have gone either way. Cody came out in the Doctor Who costume again, However, the FUSE Champ, Sinn got the win with the Original Sinn.
3) BLOCK B: Ace Bennett vs. Jet Jaguar: Frantic fast paced action between these two. The match had plenty of time before the first ever Triple Crown Champ killed Jag with the Syracuse Drop.
4) BLOCK B: Matt Joseph vs. Jason Williams: Fun spotfest but Jason’s excursion to Japan has helped him in other wrestling styles. And that came into play as Jason got the win here with the Pyscho Driver.
5) DUOS: Parkland Bros vs. Jacob Ryler and El Hijo de Angel Custodio: A break in the BtB qualifying as the Parkland’s put the belts on the line for the first time in SNW. A solid defence here which ended with the KFC.
6) Amy Lee, Beast Kong and Red Fire vs. Taliah Winters, Wasp and Kourtney Love: Another non-tournament bout but this time it was the women. The focus here was between Amy and her new rival Taliah. Lots of fun action ending with Taliah locking in the Texas Cloverleaf on Fire for the submission win.
Intermission. The Parkland’s and their belts were out at the break. Lots of fun interactions with crowd.
7) BLOCK C: Dave Demento vs. Jack Powers: Great action to welcome the fans back from the break. Although these two are both heels, the fans were very into it. Powers tried to grapple while Demento wanted to stand up and fight, so it was an interesting clash. There was a good bit of stalling early on which meant that the bell rung after 20 minuites and we had no winner.
The fans chanted for 5 more minutes but the competitors didn’t want to carry on. They were both happy to settle for a point and they got boo’ed.
8) BLOCK C: Jack Joseph vs. Safu: It was the highflyer versus the powerhouse, so this was going to be a good match. Jack tried to keep his distance to go for quick damage because when he got close Safu would dominate. Jack got too close and Safu locked in the Torture Rack for the submission win.
9) BLOCK D: Kevin Hart vs. LyNN: Want a technical match-up, just shove these two in the ring. LyNN is known more as a tag competitor but when up against someone like Hart he can put on a great match. Hart countered various pins and submissions and countered LyNN's counter of the Small Package Driver with the Sharphooter for the submission victory.
10) BLOCK D: Mike Bockwinkel vs. Carson Clark: It’s good to see Clark back to full fitness and this match showed what he can really do. He played the underdog perfectly and his comebacks got the crowd to their feet. There were some great spots which included a missed 450 Splash which led to the Bockwinkel Special.

Born to Run Bruce Springsteen Weekend – Night 2 Be the Best Qualifying – Night 2
1) BLOCK A: Cody Rejero vs. Matt Spade: Both men lost last night, so they were both looking to get their first points. Fans enjoyed this affair which had a bit of comedy thrown in which included the Sonic Screwdriver. Cody hit the Pepsi Cutter for the win.
2) BLOCK A: Jordan Devine vs. Daniel Sinn: With both men picking up the wins last night they were both looking to become the Block A leader going into the final night. Despite being heel versus heel the fans got into this. The final few minutes were stellar but the match went to a 20 minute time limit.
3) Cameron Stone, Baby J Jamerson and Cain Jackal vs. Joseph Stone, Ken Slayer and El Hijo de Angel Custodio: Stone and Slayer have beef with Joseph’s dad Cameron and his protégé Baby J but there was the added element here was Jackal and El Hijo. They wasn’t given long, which is probably good considering the inexperience. Cam and Baby J left Jackal face a Stun Gun from Slayer and a Moonsault from Joe Stone.
4) BLOCK B: Jet Jaguar vs. Jason Williams: Jag lost his first match last night while Jason picked up his first points and was looking to continue it here. This match surprisingly didn’t last long. Jag surprised Jason with a small package reversal from a Physcho Driver.
5) BLOCK B: Ace Bennett vs. Matt Joseph: Joseph was hoping to follow Jag by picking up his first points and break Block B wide open. However, Ace dominated. Matt played a fantastic underdog but the first ever Triple Crown Champ was too hot to handle. The Syracuse Drop had Matt tapping.
6) The Fatality Squad vs. AirDevils vs. Mockingbird: Fun three corner tag match, nothing we haven’t seen before. Everyone knew there was going to be one outcome, Squad wins to set up a title rematch. The MBirds were the highlight, since turning heel they’ve been great. But the Squad did indeed pick up the win following the Ball and Chain.
7) BLOCK C: Jack Joseph vs. Jack Powers: In this battle of the Jacks both men were looking for their first win, however, Powers had one point from his draw last night. Lots of fun action. Powers tried to keep the highflyer grounded but Joseph kept exploding from offence. Powers locked in the Half Crab and didn’t let go. Joseph had to tap.
Intermission. Jet Jaguar was out at the break. However, near the end of the break Jason Williams came out and the two had a shouting match. They then started brawling and had to be pulled apart.
8) BLOCK C: Dave Demento vs. Safu: Big hard hitting bout to welcome the fans back from the break. SNW doesn’t usually do all out brawls but when they do Safu is usually involved. Demento busted Safu’s eyebrow so that he bled over his eye. But Demento took the Samoan on at his own game and failed to get the win, falling to the Samoan Drop.
9) BLOCK D: Mike Bockwinkel vs. LyNN: A complete change of pace, a good technical encounter. The only problem was these two were both heels. However, the fans got behind the match booing both men. A fun spot was when they had a strike exchange and both men’s shots were boo’ed. Bock went two wins from two with the Bockwinkel Special.
10) BLOCK D: Carson Clark vs. Kevin Hart: It’s really strange to see Clark headlining two shows in a row. It’s not like he’s being built up or anything, maybe they are trying to build him back up to what he was before injury (as FUSE Champ when he beat Bennett). But no-one can doubt Clark and his in ring abilities, there is a reason he is called ‘the fastest wrestler in the world’. Hart had trouble containing him and the two had a very good match, better than last nights main event. The match finishes just before the time limit when Clark springboarded in but Hart caught the legs and locked in a Sharpshooter for the submission victory.

Synergy Issue #15
Petey the Pirate came out to welcome the crowd, he was interrupted by Synergy Champion Dave Demento who insulted Petey and the crowd. SNW World Champion Riley Shamrock came out and told Demento to shut his yap. Demento told Riley to put his title on the line tonight in a clash of the champions match. Riley accepted only if Demento shut up.
1) “El Hijo Nature Boy” Pedro Flair and Masked Marvel vs. Liam Hendrick and Carl Simmons: Two students of the fifth class teamed up to take on the masked warriors of Synergy. Hendrick looked good while Carl provided the power. The masked men took the win after Marvel brawled with Simmons on the floor while the Mexican son of Ric Flair locked in the Figure Four on Hendrick.
2) Cain Jackal vs. Simon Glockerburg: Another student from the fifth class was in action but didn’t get to do much. Jackal was dominant, he threw Glockerburg around before finishing him off with a Spear.
3) Joseph Stone vs. Cody Rejero: This was a good match to show what Joseph can do. He has improved since debuting, he’s no longer just a spot monkey. He worked over Rejero before the “Pepsi King” roared back and hit the Pepsi Cutter for the win.
4) Baby J Jamerson and Red Fire vs. Ken Slayer and Kourtney Love: Inter-gender tag action was up next. All involved looked good espically when Jamerson and Slayer faced off. The heels took the heat building it up before Slayer and Love took then down, Slayer hitting the Sling Blade for the win.
5) Duke Parkland vs. Jet Jaguar: Big match to lead into the break between two of SNW young talents. Jaguar has a bright future in SNW and is expecting to win singles titles sometime this year. Meanwhile, Duke shows great promise when in singles matches but is currently Duos Champ. This was a fun match which ended when Jag hit the TTM. They shook hands afterwards.
Intermission. Jet Jaguar stayed out after the break to meet and greet the crowd.
6) Mockingbird and Taliah Winters vs. Parkland Family: Intergender 6-person tag welcomed the fans back from the break and the popular Parkland family was in action as Drew, Axel and Rose teamed up. All three suited the tag match as it hides their weakness’s: Drew’s old while Axel and Rose are green. Mockingbird played fantastic heels and beat down youngster Axel. Taliah did well, not just in the ring but telling Reid and Caufiled what to do. The MBirds got the win with the sunset flip/dropkick combo on Axel.
7) SNW: Riley Shamrock vs. Dave Demento: This was a good main event but some fans were disappointed that it wasn’t a great match. The reason for the let-down is probably because both men were holding back. This was a first time match and with both men being young men they are bout to have a big SNW feud down the line, so they didn’t want to spoil it. The match went back and forth several times with Riley hitting the Irish Welcoming II, Demento missing the punt kick and Riley locking in the Ode to Shamrock briefly. It was the Irish Welcoming that allowed Riley to retain.

Fever Strike Be the Best Qualifying – Night 3
1) BLOCK D: Carson Clark vs. LyNN: The show opened with two men who have yet to pick up a single point. LyNN tried to keep Clark grounded but got hit the with Small Package, allowing Clark to pick up the point.
2) BLOCK C: Dave Demento vs. Jack Joseph: Like the last match, neither of these two had a chance of topping the block. However, it was a good mid-card match with both men getting even offence. Jack missed the Pele then got hit with the F***tard.
3) BLOCK B: Jet Jaguar vs. Matt Joseph: Jack’s brother Matt was hoping to do better than his brother but Jaguar could still tie at the top of the block. There was some good highflying before Jason turned up and Matt won with a DVD. Meaning that Jaguar can’t advance.
4) BLOCK A: Daniel Sinn vs. Matt Spade: Sinn could still advance with a win here but Spade didn’t go down easily. Sinn tried to put Spade away quickly but ended up on the wrongside of a roll-up. Spade wins, and Sinn’s fate is out of his hands.
5) Travis Cantrell and Taliah Winters vs. Cain Jackal and Amy Lee: Fun inter-gender tag match, the focus was on the ladies who are feuding at the moment. It’s strange because the Women’s title is taking a back seat to this feud. Some fun action ends when Cantrell hits an Asai Moonsault to the floor and Winters locks in the Cloverleaf to make Lee tap once again.
6) BLOCK A: Jordan Devine vs. Cody Rejero: With Sinn losing earlier, it’s a straight up fight between Devine and Cody. But Devine with the advantage, as if the match is a draw, Devine advances. Because of this, it made for an interesting bout as Devine stalled but in an entertaining way. Fans were behind the ‘Pepsi King’ but the bell sounded before Cody could put Devine away. Devine wins BLOCK A.
7) BLOCK B: Ace Bennett vs. Jason Williams: With Jaguar out of the running, Ace was in pole position to advance, as long as he doesn’t lose to Jason. This was fun 15 minute match. Something was off with Jason, he kept looking around, like he expected Jaguar to show up. Ace capitalised with a normal Frankensteiner. Ace wins BLOCK B.
After Ace left, Jason smacked the matt a few times. He seemed upset at letting himself get carried away with thinking that Jaguar would show up. Cue Jaguar. The lights cut out and when they came back on Jag stood behind him. Jag hit a head kick to KO Jason and Jag stood over him.
8) Riley Shamrock and Parkland Bros vs. Chris Hammers and Fatality Squad: Big six-man tag as the World Champ and the Duos Champ took on their challenges for the Be the Best iPPV. It was a fun match which did feature Riley and Hammers squaring off, interestingly enough, Hammers got the better of Riley to continue the theme of Hammers besting Riley. Axel was the sacrificial lamb, being beaten down before the hot tag but his brother felt the full wrath of the Hammers’ Lariat, giving the challengers the win.
9) BLOCK C: Jack Powers vs. Safu: These two battled it off to be Block leader, like Devine earlier, Safu had the advantage but chose not to stall. Maybe he should have. Powers worked over the monster well but in doing so took a lot of damage. Still, Powers managed to knock out the Samoan with elbows while locked in a crossface. Powers wins BLOCK C.
10) BLOCK D: Mike Bockwinkel vs. Kevin Hart: Unlike all the other matches before this, these two were tied on points and so both men went all out from the bell to become block winner. After the initial brawl, the two technicians locked up and showed some excellent counters. Bock hit a piledriver on the apron and tried for the countout but it failed and later was sent to the outside where he ate a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Bock got the ropes from the Sharpshooter. Fan expected a time limit draw to take this to a tiebreaker at the next show but then Nick Jacobs showed up, distracting Bock, allowing Kev to hit the Maple Leaf Revenge to seal the win. Hart wins BLOCK D.
