A New Coronation (Night Two)

The announcer kicks off the show talking about all six remaining competitors and how they have to win their respective single matches then the main event triple threat to become SNW World Champion.

1) Chris Hammers vs. Roderick Strong: An awesome brawling match here which isn’t something you see often in SNW but is becoming increasingly popular. Both men were feeling the effects of this hard hitting match early on. The Irish man had a chest full of chop marks and nearly took a fall following a Death By Roderick. Hammers also got locked in the Stronghold but was able to reverse it into a small package to advance.

Roderick tried to tell the referee that his foot was on the rope but the ref couldn’t see it so he made the count. Hammers and Amy Lee then exited motioning that they only need one more win.

2) Mike Bockwinkel vs. Mike Quackenbush: Another amazing match as Bockwinkel works a old school hybrid style which works amazingly well with the “master of a thousand holds.” Its good to note there was no boo’s towards one-half of the Duos Champion because they were so immersed in the match. The end came when Bockwinkel went for the Bockwinkel Special Edition but was expertly countered into a Lightening Lock Beta which Bock could only tap out to. Making Mike Quackenbush advance.

3) Ace Bennet vs. Evan Pagano: This was the third match these two have faced off in. With Bennett getting a shock win in the first then the second going to no contest. This match-up wasn’t as good as the previous incarnations as it wasn’t given as much time like it would in a main event spot and both men were holding back a little as they knew they could be wrestling later. It was still a great match and led to a Top rope Calling revered in mid-air into a Syracuse Dropped.

Intermission. The crowd were still quite shocked by the awesome match ending possibly the best ending in SNW history. The man in a sandwich board and covered face came out again with two letters this time saying ‘R’ and ‘t’

4) New Age Lady Killers and Jack Powers vs. Revolution X and Bret Thomas: A decent six-man tag match which came as a result of last nights attack on Powers. It looks like the Lady Killers are starting a feud with RevX which is a good thing because they gel pretty well. Rivals Powers and Thomas being in the same ring also was great to see as they took each other out of the match by fighting in the crowd. In the end LyNN fell to a Pin Pointer from the former Duos Champions.

Sam Kineval then came out and said that the no.1 contender to the FUSE title, Kevin Hart is at home recovering from his ladder accident. Kineval said not to worry he’s brought his own opponent.

5) FUSE: Sam Kineval vs. Doink the Clown: This was nothing more than a quick job. The fans got a decent pop from Doink hitting a few moves then going for the Whoopie Cushion but Kineval completely dominated from there on hitting a Chaos Death Shot to retain.

Kineval got on the mic again and pretended he heard footsteps “What? I hear something from backstage. Could it be another challenger?”

6) FUSE: Sam Kineval vs. Steve Lombardi: Kineval’s second opponent for the night was the famous jobber the Brooklyn Brawler. Unlike Doink Steve had no offence and fell to a Busaiku Knee.

Kineval grabbed the mic once again. “What? Can you hear that? Its footsteps from backstage. It must be another opponent.” However it seemed like this wasn’t what Kineval planned as Jason Williams came out and said he was disgracing his friend Kevin Hart and the title he so badly wants. As Jason marched to the ring Kineval screamed “What have you done to Gillberg?”

7) FUSE: Sam Kineval vs. Jason Williams: As you would expect this has much more offence from the challenger. However Kineval purposely stalled to play mind games with Jason. However this didn’t pay off as Jason took an awesome dive to the outside. Kineval was able to reverse a superplex attempt into a Welcome to Kineval-ville Motherf*cker to pick up the victory.

Kineval then grabbed his title and headed to the back after having enough title defences for one day.

8) SNW: Mike Quackenbush vs. Chris Hammers vs. Ace Bennett: As you would expect this was an amazing match. In an amazing spot Hammers hit his signature Running Powerbomb on Quack and while Quack was in mid-air Bennett crashed down with a Springboard 450. The end came as Hammers had Quack locked in a Half leg Boston Crab (which applied pressure on Quack’s previously injured back) while Bennett went for a springboard. Hammers pulled him down to the mat then Quack thrusted Hammers from the ring. With Bennett down Quack locked in the Chikara Special to make Bennett tap. MOTN.

After the match Quack was handed the SNW World Championship as the fans went into a frenzy in a chant for “Quack.” Both Hammers and Bennett left looking very disappointed with what had gone down. For the first time a championship has gone into the hands of an outsider.
