WCW wise I'd say Sting (NWA champ 90-91), TNA wise I'd say Jeff Jarrett.

Rugged Ronnie Garvin....Just kidding.....I think without a doubt it has to be Sting, As far as I can remember he is the only one that had any kind of run as champion other then Flair. Rhodes, Steamboat and Garvins were all pretty short

Windhams reign was really a second tier title reign because there was still the WCW title at the time which was more important to WCW then. Outside of Sting I would have to say Muta just because it was probably defended frequently against top stars in Japan
