Noo, damn Sting, why wont he just go away. Surely this doesn't mean he'll be main eventing BFG next year too!

It really all depends on how TNA uses Sting. I don't think by any means that the current angle Sting is a part of will be over anytime soon. It will last well in to 2009. Sting will probably take a big break after the angle finishes up. Then he could come back for one more program before he retires.
I guess Sting doesn't really bother me too much. I was a huge WCW fan so I enjoy seeing Sting. He is still the biggest star of the modern era not to whore himself out for Vince. I don't think the show should revolve around him though. I would definitely like to see him get a nice retirement program. A Flair/Sting program could of been good a couple years ago. Flair is too old now. I don't want to see that anymore.

Keep him out of the main event at BFG, and we're good.

I agree I've always enjoyed Sting and his is one of if not my favorite wrestlers of all time. While I enjoy him a lot I still don't think he should headline every BFG.

I could be okay with Sting staying if it meant Flair didn't have to wrestle after his retirement.

I'll expect Sting to win the title from A.J. Styles at BFG 2009 then.
Seriously, I don't hate Sting, but I wish he'd leave.

This just in. The main events for the next four consecutive Bound For Glory PPVs are as follows:
BFG '09: Sting vs. Ric Flair BFG '10: Sting vs. Michael Vick (Special Ref: dude from Dog Whisperer) BFG '11: Sting vs. Super "Duper" Eric (the Charizard of Super wrestlers) BFG '12: Sting vs. His belief system

Personally they don't need Flair to wrestle. IF ... if they could bring him in for this vet vs youngin's feud it would be huge.

Well, TNA just screwed themselves. Why? It's not a "written contract" so if they're paying him the same on his "verbal contract" as he was on the "witten contract". When it's time for him to sign a written contact he can go "Woah, wait a minute - I want x amount of dollars and want less days" (don't know how many less days he can get but oh well). I don't mind Sting main eventing, I don't mind Sting in TNA, I don't mind Sting being the main event of every BFG becuase I understand why (name value) but if he holds TNA up for more money when he's got the belt - TNA's screwed.
My opinion.

I have no problem with it. This feud has been great and as long as he isn't holding the world title for to long or at all its fine.

I would have no problem with Sting if TNA used him better.

I hate wrestlers who are hella old and still think they are 25 and need to main event.
He should retire.
He always ruins TNA's WM and he sucks.
Go away already grandpa.

TBH I think he's only helped I thought the main event at 2006 was huge. '07 good main event to not have as much build up. '08 I like the buildup so far. I mean Joe vs. Sting is a match thats never happened before. Sting doesn't think he's 25 to my knowledge. I mean he's in good shape. He is one of the best entertainers of all time. Don't get me wrong he's but he can still go nonetheless. He never provides a bad match to me.

Still a huge name who gets interest, plus I think he's done a great job in building up to bFG vs. Joe.

they would have to use flair perfectly to not simply up his retirement. as for sting resigning, good. he can be used to put people over for quite a while.
