As a new guy here, I've gotta aks a couple questions.
1. Has the WFDC ever worked as intended?
2. Is there a need for it? (I think so, but since this is the open discussion forum, I'll put it out there)
3. Is there a committment to it from the players? Is there someone dedicated to run it?

As a new guy here, I've gotta aks a couple questions. 1. Has the WFDC ever worked as intended? 2003. Depends on how it's ran. If the owners of the WFDC are going to be the owners of the WFWF then not really. Might as well just reply to all the RPs in main boards. Ahaha ... the fact that's no longer called the WFDC tells me no.

I do also believed it would have worked when Alex and E were owners. Hell, I wanted to be exclusively on the WFDC brand/shows or whatever you wanted to call it.

The WFDC seemed to work back when I first started. Even though only a few of us showed for our matches the format seemed good. Then the four of us who did RP got promoted after what I believe was 2 shows.

The problem with the WFDC was that at the time it was ran we had a really small roster, and it made sense for the four in the WFDC that were actually posting rp's to be used on Loaded. If we had a large roster, and if it was clear that people needed to improve greatly, then the WFDC would have purpose.
I have a long story where I can take no blame for the state of the WFDC/ House Shows, but I dont want to throw all the blame on others, so I wont go into it.

Being 100% honest, I didn't come up in WFDC so much as I was a product of the house show system. And to be honest I think it really helped when I cared enough to RP solidly, like when I first started I used a joke char I made up because I was a Deuce and Domino fanboy and honestly speaking I think coming up through house shows benefited my overall ability to write in an RP style format.
But yeah, I think it may not be necessary so much as like just a useful tool in adjusting from match format to RP format.

the problem isn't whether it works, its whether anyone will commit to it.. which clearly no one will unless they are new.

Ok...so, what do we do about it?
I mean, we can complain or whatever, but how do we make it work? Should it be a separate show altogether from the standard WFWF? Does it work better as a House Show? Or is it better used as simply the WFWF's version of Ohio Valley Wrestling...as a developmental tool?
What are the ramifications for no-showing for a House Show? The same as no-showing for Loaded or a PPV? Or is it more or less shrugged off?

it should be for improving. If someone really feels they need to improve they post the best rp they can come up with. and We talk about how it can be better. Right now it acts as a second show. We don't have a roster big enough for two shows. Nor does anyone want to post for two if appears. So choose.. one for real, and if you feel you need some improvement.. ask for the other show. Or even just take a few weeks off and go to the house shows for those weeks, and work on improving.. house shows should be ONLY for improving. They should be done completely different. If its rated bad, write an example of how it can be written good. Here people just say whats wrong. There it should be like this is wrong, and this is how it can be better.

As Calvin pointed out, we dont have the roster for two completely seperate rosters. The WFDC/ House Shows should be about improving and getting feedback and for trying out something new if you have that in mind.

Hey gang. I thought I'd try a different approach for the SOTF logo so I put this together. It's still unfinished and I'd like to get everyone's input.

I like it. I guess it beats out the two previous themes to SOTF, those being Jungle for 2005, and Sharks for 2007

Normally not, to be honest, I have no idea what is going on around here as of late. But, I will start up a random and thought provoking conversation.
What is your character's favorite sandwich. Burton loves come corned beef on rye.
