I had OCD pretty badly when I was a teenager (like 14-16) and was paranoid as hell about germs. Anyone with OCD knows exactly what I'm talking about. I eventually outgrew it when I realized how irrational my rituals were, and I laugh about it now.
So..to those of you w/OCD (or used to), was is/was your worst ritual? At my peak, I would wash my hands until they were crimson red at night (they literally bled a little like three times), and would take two 45 min showers/day.
When I was a sophomore, I almost got my ass kicked by a varsity cornerback for yelling at him at the top of my lungs for coughing behind me w/o covering his mouth. As weird as it sounds, at the time I would of rather gotten ko'ed than get sick. That doesn't mean I was tough, just stupid. That's when I saw how screwed up in the head I was.
Anyway, I'm interested in reading your responses/stories.

I don't have COMPLETELY ridiculous ones that seriously affect my life, but got countless smaller ones that I really feel weird if I don't do... Those with OCD will probably understand when I say that I like to have things be "even."

Everyone has a little bit OCD.
Mine is brushing my teeth/keeping my teeth clean. I brush my teeth at least 5 times a day.

I have huge OCD. My nails always have to be perfect, things have to be lined up perfectly, and I always wash my hands if I feel like they attracted germs.

I always wash my hands if I feel like they attracted germs. Yep, to this day I can't concentrate on anything until I wash my hands after I touch raw meat, take the trash out, shake someone's hand that seems dirty, etc And I have to cut my nails perfectly too.

Those with OCD will probably understand when I say that I like to have things be "even." Yea I certainly do. It can even be as small as the parallax of your vision touching certain things in your view. My buddy in highschool had OCD really bad. He was a wrestler and in great shape but there would be times when we'd go to the mall and he'd fight me over who would open the door. He refused to let anything but his feet touch a public bathroom. If somebody had bad finger nail hygene he was afraid to touch them. He had a high fear of always dying, like something awful was going to happen to his health. All types of stuff. When we'd get home from somewhere he'd wash his hands for 5-10 mins to the point where they were cracking. All this while wrestling on those dirty highschool mats with dirty highschool kids.

^I can't understand your friend worrying about his hands when his head was probably under some guy's sweaty crotch.

That's what I am saying! I used to use this as my reasoning for telling him to chill the out but I guess OCD is for the idle mind?

I used to take medication for it, and it went away, but it brought along way worse problems, so I finally went off of it a while back and I noticed my OCD come back, but it's something I live with, it's not an exremely harsh case...so I can deal with it.
It's most counting to 10 while doing lots of things/before things, and checking doors MANY times to check if they're locked.

As far as I am aware, I've never had OCD.

Little things, mainly bathroom related : wiping the seat off, flushing with my foot, washing my hands, opening the door with a paper towel.

but I guess OCD is for the idle mind? I guess it depends on the person. Your friend's OCD completely contradicts the whole ball/ass sweat to face thing. He doesn't sound too smart. When my OCD was bad my mind was racing non-stop, but it didn't affect my grades/intelligence. It stopped when I learned to chill the **** out like you said.
