I like the immense size of the BAF but for some reason, I just tend to like the black version of Darkseid more than the blue. Not sure if it was ever in the comics, but it reminds me of the Superman Animated Series look he had.
Checked my TRU today, no sign of much in the way of DC.

I am pretty sure he was done in a midnight blue or black look like the figure in the 90's in Morrison's JLA run.

I bought the Yellow Lantern/Blue Lantern 2pack at a Lot Less for $14.99 + tax. I have the DCUC 3 black/blue Sinestro I am looking to trade for any DCUC black/yellow Sinestro, so if anybody is interested, let me know.

I got the Reverse Flash and White Lantern Flash. I'll post pics. They're pretty sick! I also ordered the new 52 Justice League complete set for 99.99 off of DC Comics. Can't wait till it gets here!

I've been out of the DC loop for a long time. Today I picked up Unlimited Hawkman from Target and Batgirl (along with MS Rhino) from the LCS.

saw Hawkman the other day at Target, almost pulled the trigger on him and Penguin, but I had to pass, the Hawkman I have already is sufficient enough for me

I wish they were only $17 at TRU. I found a lone Superman at TRU tonight and after tax he was $22 - ouch!
But then I took his UPC to Target where it showed them in the stockroom when I scanned it. But when the employee scanned the upc it came up as not on file...but I showed him on the scanner and he typed in the DPIC # the scanner showed amd then saw they had them in stock. A few minutes later he came out with a fresh case so I picked up Hawkman & Flash as well. They are only $16 at Target.

Yeah I was going to buy a second Superman at Target and then go back and return it at TRU for my extra $6. But I just said screw it and will pass on these at TRU in the future unless it is a figure I must have.

just picked up the unlimited superman and flash, quick question my father has a superman that doesnt have the metallic blue suit like the rest and has a lighter cape then the rest, has anyone else seen this or is it just an error?

That might be the All-Stars Superman. I know there was an All-Stars Batman that was in a dull grey and black while the Unlimited Batman was in a shiney grey and gloss black. I didn't buy anyone except Batman from the All-Star wave so I can't say for sure.

I'm not a fan of the New 52 looks, so I passed on Superman and Flash when I saw them. The Batman Unlimited line looks like it'll have a lot of nice figures though, Penguin looked awesome when I saw him. I'm gonna have to grab him, I'm thinking. Also, love the looks of the new figures coming out -   I'd have preferred a standard Kelley Jones Batman over the vampire version, but I'll take what I can get at this point. I love KJ's art. |
