Erm... what about DCUC 3 or the Abin Sur set?

Neither of those have the grey streaks in the hair. And the Abin Sur set is his original costume (no green shoulders)

No, he said that every other Hal was his modern look

I didn't read it. I thought we were still talking about Haggar's question.

Although if you want Hal in that iconic green-shoulder costume, I think it's best to use the 5 pack body w/ the Abin Sur set head like I did. Waves 3 and 4 of DCUC has so many QC issues and "the dust"

Erm... what about DCUC 3 or the Abin Sur set? Those don't have the most iconic look with the gray streaks. That's the only DCUC GL that has a definitive "classic"/pre-Parallax look. I know DCUC went for a classic look a couple of more times, but the line doesn't really fit with Hal's 150-lb stick man look of the pre-Hard Traveling Heroes era.

I think our opinions of Hal's "iconic look" are very different

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Hal Jordan's more iconic look is him without the grey. He only had the grey streaks for a short while. If I'm not mistaken he first got the grey in the Return of Superman and had it up until his transformation to Parallax and then finally his death in The Final Night. Not sure how anyone can say his grey streak look is his most iconic.

I don't think that argument would really hold water as it's a matter of opinion to what someone thinks the most iconic look it. And personally even though I grew up in the 70's with Super Friends (non grey) the Hal with the streaks of grey hair is the Hal I think of. To me THAT is the Iconic Hal Jordan look.
Hell when I picked up my first DCU3 Hal adding the grey to his hair was the first thing I did after taking pics of him.

Not sure how anyone can say his grey streak look is his most iconic. It's easy: Emerald Twilight far surpassed anything in Jordan's history at that point. Whether or not it was a great story is debatable, but Hal killing the GLC and absorbing the battery was shocking. Unlike his first three decades where Hal couldn't even hold his own as a lead character for long without the help of Flash or GA, ET made Hal the center of the comics world for awhile. And while I realize that it wasn't his first look, I don't think the molds of the DCUC figures fit with his silver-age look. I might be alone in this, but I have no interest in a GL figure with tiny arms, womanish hips, an Andrew Garfield hair helmet, and a squeaky toy on his chest.

New Bats and Supes from the New 52 line up! I picked those up (and the Flash) as soon as I saw them. I can see why Mattel relaunched the line. I know a lot of harcore collectors like more obscure characters, but the last 2-3 series of DCUC is clogging shelves in my area.

Ralphie-boy was waiting for me when I got home. May try to attach the DCD long-neck on him. Didn't realize he came with a magnifying glass.

I'll take some tomorrow, but I am a little underwhelmed with it. He's very thin and the armor has a slightly redish tint to it in some angles.
