I checked out my local Big Lots today. No sign of DCUCs, sadly.

My two biggest wants are Aztek, Hitman and Zauriel.I would do cartwheels all the way to the store and wouldnt stop till I got home to put them on display. Store? Mattel can't even sell Robin at retail anymore. But yeah, Zauriel, Aztek, and the aforementioned Aquaman are all safely in my top 10 for this line. Aquaman is easily my most wanted figure right now. Great point. It pisses me off to no end that the shelves are clogged with Avengers, Dark Knight, Iron Man and Man of Steel movie figures that dont sell. I know DCUC had its fair share of peg warmers, but this is ridiculous. My TRU still has Green Lantern movie figs. I never saw the series 16-20 or all-stars series 1. Now all the figures I wanted from those lines are outrageously priced. It sucks. Anyways, I missed out on picking up Red Hood. Didnt really convince myself I wanted him till it was too late. Ill be skipping Freddie Freeman, but I cant wait for Huntress.

Red hood sold out already? That doesn't look to good fir me getting Huntress then. Looks like she'll be another Poison Ivy experience.

Just been doing some pricing on the DCUC16 Batman (Jean-Paul Valley). It's fetching some decent money, and considering the red two-pack version is cheap (like 15 on eBay) I might buy one and do a repaint.
I also wanted to make a pre-armored Valley Batman by taking the armored gloves and adding them to a standard Batman (to replicate how he looked when he first started developing his armor), but upon reviews on eBay, the articulation is different, so it wouldn't be an easy pop-and-swap.

Yes he has a different arm design.he doesn't have the bicep cuts and his elbows aren't the standard hing, but rather a swivel like the original 12" Joes had.

They have 10 Ivys in stock on amazon. 50 bucks, but they're there.

As much as I wanted her there's no way I will pay more than what it should have cost me on Matty. Because of the Poison Ivy experience it turned me off to Matty Collectors. To have her in my cart at noon and then keep getting looped into the high traffic page for over 30 minutes so that when it finally went to the check out page it was removed from my cart and sold out was total b/s especially when I read people logged on after me and were able to get her.
. They've been running the site for 3 years and they still can't fix that. So because of that now I really don't expect to get the Matty Collectors figures. If there's something I want I'll attempt to order it, but if I get put in that screen again I'll just cancel my order. The subscription isn't an option as they only have one or two figures offered that I want...so paying for 6 or 7 figures to get 2 isn't worth it.

I got my Amazon package today containing Batman vs. Azrael and the Martian Manhunter with the weapon hand. I didn't realize the weapon hand was permanent, kinda disappointing, but it was only ten bucks with shipping and everything so I can't complain. Valley Batman is really nice, I'm gonna pick a spare up off eBay I imagine, since they run about 15 bucks shipped. Then I'll do a repaint and a little re-tool to get the Knightfall Batman I want, since I missed the Bane wave figure.
I also finally opened up my series 1 Etrigan that I've had for literally YEARS MOC haha. But it's a great figure, I don't know why I waited so long before I finally opened him. I also opened Dr. Impossible because I'm thinking of doing a custom in the near future, once I can get some paint and minor supplies together.

I'm working on really kicking off my DCUC collection. I already traded my Marvel Legends figures to my brother for his DCUC. From that I got Joker, Harley Quinn, Shazam, Black Adam, and Superman. Then a week later I bought New 52 Batman, Batgirl, Penguin, Sinestro and New 52 Superman. This weekend I bought a ton of figures for under $300. I got New 52 Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Green Lantern Aban Sur, Lex Luthor, Joker, Riddler, Darkseid, Super Girl, Cheetah, Reverse Flash, Sandman, Gentleman Ghost, and the Robin from the two pack with Batman.
I do need to get a new Black Adam though. The right leg on the one my brother gave me is stuck and doesn't go up and down. I'm also thinking of getting the Black Suit Superman to do a head swap and make General Zod. Kinda based off the new movie where he essentially wore the same suit as Superman just in black.
I'll post pics as they come in.

Also, great haul I've been seeing the new 52 Darkseid and it looks nice, but I still like my regular DCSH figure. Right now, the only DCUC I'm actively looking for is Deathstroke.

The Darkseid I ordered has the classic look. I don't know if its Superheroes or the DCUC BAF. I hate the single release of the New 52 Darkseid. Seems to be way out of proportion. I saw there's a new one coming that looks awesome tho.

I'd do longer than 10 minutes. Like, overnight for the best results.
Or if you have a can of compressed air, hold it upside down and blast away at the joint, it'll freeze it solid in a matter of seconds. I've done that for my DCUC stuck hips and it's worked every time.

Plus I prefer the classic look. The BAF is nice, but I'm fine with my DCSH figure haha. I don't know anything about new 52, but it seems like they're revamping a lot of the characters. How big is Darkseid supposed to be these days?

I haven't actually read any New 52. I usually read comics long after they come out. From cartoons and stuff I always got the sense that Darkseid was huge so I like the bigger look. The Classic look is still awesome though, so I'm happy with it. I scored pretty good on the lot I bought for $160. It had Darkseid, suited Riddler, Gentleman Ghost, a couple guys I don't know and some DC Direct guys.

Rather than start a new thread...Medicom Mafex Batman delivered today from Amok Time. He looks and moves great except his arms tend to pop out usually when I try swivel the arm. It's not really a big problem, they easily pop back in. I didn't have a Mattel MM Batman handy for comparison but I did try him out on the BatPod.

That looks great. Hopefully spamS gets theirs in soon. I've had this preordered with them since Dec.

Bro I've had this on preorder since Nov 10th and spams just keeps pushing the date back. I should have ordered it from the Chinese site that had them shipped out months ago. I heard the arm prob is common.
