Poison Ivy and Black Mask are part of the subscribtion. Hopefully a regular scarecrow comes out in a Batman Legacy wave. I thought that stupid subscription thing didn't go through because not enough people were interested. I really need that Poison Ivy, I could use the Black Mask too but I really, REALLY need that Ivy. Is it too late to join the sub and if not is it expensive? And do I absolutely HAVE to join the stupid sub to get Ivy if I don't want to have to pay an obscene amount of money for her? |

Ugh...I thought the whole point of the sub was to give the hardcore collectors the more obscure characters, while more mainstream ones hit the stores.
So Poison Ivy (a well-known movie villain) is stuck in the sub, while that Flashpoint Plastic Man (from a mini-series relatively very few people read) will be sitting around on store shelves. Er...wow.
I didn't go for the sub, because I didn't want to get totally ripped off with overseas shipping fees and customs charges on a regular basis, but I'm kinda regretting it after seeing those pics. =/
Oh well, life goes on...

I really REALLY need that Poison Ivy too. I think on Mattycollector, it says that non-subscribers would just pay a few dollars more for that figure than subscribers ($18 vs $15). Metron is listed as a club-exclusive available only to subscribers, but it doesnt say anything about Ivy. Signing up for the subscription is now closed. |

Yeah, "day of" figures are just a few bucks more
I think Ivy was more used as incentive for the subscription and also because she's a female villain with no major recent media tie-in.

the subscription went thru but they claimed they fought to get it approved. for non sub holders the figures are only 18 as opposed to 15.00 for holders. the big increase is that the oversized figures Rocket red and 2 others will be 45.00 for non sub holders, as opposed to 30.00 for sub holders.
Flashpoint Plastic Man in either the sub or retail line was going to get complaints because he is not going to be a popular figure choice. In the 2 case assts hes 2 in a case hes going to be a shelf-warmer.

I suppose the extra $3 isn't bad, some stores charge that much anyway. But I also really want that Metron figure as well, not as bad as Ivy but I really like collecting New Gods figures so I sort of need him as well. But I guess since I didn't sign up for their stupid bullsh*t sub I guess I'm SOL now for the Metron figure.

My daughter wanted Cracker Barrel today so we went up to Fishkill NY. While up there I went to the WalMart across the street and picked up these DCUC Series 20 figures -

All of them will be but in a limited amount. Only Metron is available to members.

Any idea when/if Black Mask will be available to those who don't have the subscription? It'll be on the site the Monday after it ships the the subscription members. They usually ship the sub members their on the Friday before. They'll have a coming soon with the date on their website as it gets closer. |

;D I bought an extra Bronze Tiger from Kmart for $6.39.  His right leg is stuck. Heat didn't work. The peg might have stress marks. Only standing poses for him. I guess my Kmart made a pricing mistake during their reset because other Kmarts are charging $16.39. |

Who did the right leg come with? No DCUC at either of my closest Targets today, but they did each have a case Batman Legacy Series 3 (Just the 1st Appearance Batman/Catwoman cases) So I picked up another of the 1st Appearance Batman for the MOC wall
