Being on a boat is different for most people. Atleast you're "on" something, not jetting through the air. Not to mention you can swim through water. You can't bail out the plane and flap your wings to safety. Yeah, but let's say we're going from here to England. We can go by boat or by plane. I would feel much safe on a plane than on a boat even though if anything goes wrong with the boat you're just as ed as if it goes wrong on the plane. You're out in the middle of the ocean. No one is that good of a swimmer. You don't need to swin, you tread water and wait for a rescue boat. You can't tread air.

Yeah, tread water while sharks, barracudas, giant squids and all kinds of other swimming things who love to eat people nip at your legs. So you either drown after treading water for hours or sharks eat you first. I'd rather die instantly when the plane hits the ground.

Rescue Helicopters come pretty quick, and sharks aren't everywhere, at least not near the U.K.

It's by far the safest way to travel. I've never quite understood why people panic so much about flying. You'll be perfectly fine. some of us have anxiety and some of us are claustrophobic. i am unfortunately both but you should just take some tylenol pm. it will knock you out for the whole flight.

I love flying.. like others have said just stay up for awhile so you will be tired on your flight and fall asleep. I always have trouble sleeping on flights for some reason. One time I fell asleep for about an hour and woke up drooling.. kind of embarrassing.

Flying sucks, but that's because most of the time it's a reletively long time (7-8 hours) and I am really fidgety. That, and I have long-ass legs, and a short attention span isn't good for me heh.

You're profile say's you're 20. . . . So I don't think you'll be drinking before you're flight. I'd ing kill myself if I had to wait to 21 to drink.

It's natural to be afraid to fly. Why do you say that? People fly all the time and I think those who are afraid to fly are generally those who don't fly much at all. I don't hear of very many people who fly all the time and are petrified of flying. I fly maybe once every year or two, but I look forward to it and enjoy it. i fly every year once or twice a year so thats four trips to mexico and back actually i take about 3 different airplanes to go to mexico and 3 different ones to come back so im going to point out you are totally wrong because i dont like to fly and im the type of guy who does parkour ect ect but i also get dizzy when somebody else is driving the car and im in the back seat why? because im not in control

I pretty much guarantee you that more people are afraid of flying, than going on a boat. Not me. I don't mind flying at all, but I'd never go on a boat.

This may be locked considering your 20 years old talking about drinking alcohol which is illegal.
