I want to know i'm not alone in being behind and not hitting the stores every week like i was a while ago. This is due to a lot of outside factors (work,school,etc.)
I'm trying to get my 1 favorite CS fig from each series (same with 2 packs) but there's a few "gaps" (CS2,CS3,CS5,CS6,CS11 and from CS13 up)
Also, I’ve been building a RA collection (again, my favorite from each series), the most current one i have in that collection is from RA23 and AD20
Finally, is there anything necessarily “wrong” with being behind as a collector? Besides missing out on some awesome finds and buys
I appreciate your input on this

The only figure I need right now that I don't have is DA16 JBL. I might get DA16 Edge, I'm not sure yet.
I got pretty much caught up today by getting DA Kane in the KB DA 3-pack (with DA HBK and DA Y2J), and I also picked up DA16 Nunzio and DA16 Shelton Benjamin.
I find that it's a bad idea to get behind. At least where I live, if you don't get stuff right as it comes out, you'll never find it again. I've always managed to find whatever figure I've wanted....however there are a ton of figures that I own, that I've only seen once...and it makes me think "what if I didn't go to the store that day? Would I NEVER have found that figure?"
SO I try and get my figures as soon as people on here start saying they are hitting stores.

Everyone may be behind on what they want to get. Im missing a fair few holes in my collection. I am desperately after RA5, IE, Raw Metal, CS3 Pack and CS18 Kane. Thats a huge amount im missing which i want MOC. We all have some gaps, or well most of us do, nothing wrong with it, gives us something to aim for. The only figure I need right now that I don't have is DA16 JBL. I might get DA16 Edge, I'm not sure yet. The torso would be the only thing I would change. The one you gave him might be a little skinny....it seems like the one they gave the Ric Flair exclusive. Kane is thicker in real life.
If they ever do release another DA Kane, I would suggest the same torso they gave DA16 JBL....its not as ripped as most DA torso's, but it's big enough to pass as him.

Ive calmed down with my collection. With the economy and women I need my money for more important things. Classic Superstars from the NWA get top priority. Then Classic Superstars period, then RAs and then Divas come last.

Im upto date with CS singles, which is the main line I collect. However Im currently behind with CSTT and CS 3 packs. CS IE's there are a few of them I need as well. I don't collect many RA, AD or TT, so I would say that Im good with them at the moment. Just want to get RA 35 Horny.
UMF I Have complete sets 1,2,3,4,5,7,10 and s9 Bret hart, so there are a few of them I need as well. Much the same as everyone else there are simply more important things in this world then wrestling figures, so when I have the cash Ill get what I want. Besides with the Jakks contract coming to a end, it will give me a chance to catch back up. I hope one day to have a complete CS collection. ONE DAY!
And, to answer your question, no there is nothing worng with being behind in your collection. Half the fun IMO is the hunt. Not to mention if you are worried or stressed because you are missing something, you should probably give it away because there are more important things in life then a hobby.
I also look forward to getting a few UFC figures so my wrestling collection may take a small hit there as well.

There are so few figures I want that I don't have, i'm jusr trying to get some duplicates moc, although there are a few pieces missing that I really want!!

Seeing I pretty much only by classics and a very few modern wrestlers...the only thing I want that's out that I don't have yet is the BnB 4 Austin & Jericho & the Rock Family & Demolition 3-Packs.

There is no such thing as being behind as a collector. Collecting is just that you are in the process or intending on having so many in the long run, if there is no set amount in which you are collecting then you can never get behind or ahead.
You my friend are not behind, you just have ? many to be current.
Keep on keeping on, Some of us are alot more "behind" than you are.

I feel like my local stores are behind, but I go as often as possible though. Still looking for TT8, RA 35, AD 32, DA 16 and CS 3 Packs 9 and 10. Finally found MAX 2 and BNB4.

EVERYONE gets behind at some point, for me its when they start coming out in bunches around the holidays (like there starting to do )  It use to bug me,but not so much anymore becuase when you get the chance to really look on the sites and see whats coming up you have a chance to be more selective. For example I was buggin out with the release of Katie/ Birchall in a 2 pack saying"at my TRU I may never see them" only to turn around a week later and find out that there being released in singles,the same can be said for Cherry. So yeah I get behind but its not always bad.....(It also helps I live ten minutes from the spam  ) |

I got really big into collecting in April of 2007. So to say I was "behind" was an understatement. Fortunately I had gotten my hands on a few rare RA's (RA1 Brock, RA Goldberg) so I didn't have to pay crazy prices for them now, however it's been non-stop figure buying & hunting for me since then.
Whether it's searching Ebay, "hunting" at various TRUs I'm always trying to get new things when they come out, and get older figures in between

I only buy the figs that I would use in my feds. I keep up with all of the new figs at RSC. I plan on buying alot the first of November(around 10-12 packs). Then I'll buy some of the RA37 in December.

As a CS completionist, I stll need a few variants from eariler series, but overall I'm mostly caught up. I know after the firsy of the year I'll probably be really behind.
