TNA is on a high time, They get a toy deal with Jakks, There coming out with video game which is (presumably) better than the SmackDown games, they're beating ECW in the ratings occationly, and WWE isn't exactly in the best shape right now, so, will TNA finally get the superstardom they deserve ?

Nope. Beating the WWE's C show is nothing to be proud of. You can't say that the video game will be bad or good yet. If nobody watches TNA why does it matter who makes the toys. People still will not buy them if they don't watch the show.

All the side investments and celebrity affiliations in the world couldn't catapult TNA into superstardom.

Nope, I think Jakks will drop the line somewhere in 2011 or 2012.
As far as the game, i'll be surprised if it get more than one.

i'd be surprised if tna are still around by 2010 in all honesty.
they can bring in all the "talent" they want, but if the product doesn't start improving, then people aren't going to watch or order the ppv's. and without that, tna has nothing.

Exactly what he says. I'm looking more forward to the video game and the figures than the product. The last ppv I even saw was Joe vs. Angle part III and the last full Impact I watched was about 2 months ago. I'm not liking the product right now.

whne they get another show and more consistent storylines, then maybe...but now? NO! The move to Jakks should be beneficail to them though.

No they wont catapult anywhere, if they do ever reach superstardom it will be a long and slow climb there, and if the rumors of hulk hogen starting a promotion is true then they could be in for an even longer one with more competition. But as it stands they are no where near compeating with WWE for viewers.

I really want TNA to compete with WWE, but they need to do something new and different to attract viewers.

Scott Steiner is actually one of the more entertaining guys on their show.....
......Completely agree with the rest though, even the giant reindeer. That guy FN sucks.

I completly agree with Paul Heyman and what he said in his interview with The Sun (UK newspaper)!
TNA has no identity, on tv it comes off as a better produced ECW show with the outlandish gimmick matches and rabbid fan base, with the roster its like WCW circa 99/01 when it was just hand me down ex WWE stars.
TNA lost its identity when the X-Division was put to the side and with that the majority of its "home grown talent". Yes some of them started or have gotten exposure elsewhere (Japan, ROH etc) but not mainstream exposure.
Lets face it about a year or 2 ago TNA's most marketable home grown stars were Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Chris Daniels. Since then the promotion has signed and run with Sting, Christian, Angle and now i get the distinct feeling of Booker T getting a title run and restarting his feud with Jeff Jarrett from WCW.
Monty Brown who deserved a long healthy run with the title has since jumped ship to WWE and now stepped away from the business to look after his family. Senshi has bailed to Japan. Chris Harris has jumped ship along with Ron Killings and a viable X-Div star in Cassidey Riley (who may now comeback lol). Austin Aries went BACK to ROH! how does that look? It was bad enough that CM Punk did it then went on to super stardom with the big E!
Chris Daniels is now Curry Man? and Abyss when he finishes his feud with Kevin Sullivans erm Rev. Mitchell's faction is going to be a normal wrestler? They've lost it!
The only real success the company is experiencing right now is their womens division and tag division. That doesnt make a succesful company unfortunatly. It needs viable TNA made stars in the main event with the world title (Styles, Joe and definetly Daniels) and it needs to rebuild the X division and somehow make it a much more viable platform for the smaller TNA stars to make a successful transition to main event status

Scott Steiner isn't that bad. He seems better and is doing better than his WWE run. Most of the time he's been on the losing end. It's not like they threw him in the World Title hunt right away and hasn't even had 1 shot at it yet.
Scott Hall isn't with the company and probably will never be seen there again. Such a shame though and needs to get his life together if he hasn't all ready.
I don't know about superstardom yet but if they develop their own stars and have an identity. Right now, for better or for worse, they are simply dubbed WWE-Lite. I wonder if the people in the company are aware of that.
