Do you guys think it would work if TNA made the Heavyweight Title a secondary title, and made the X Division Title the main title in TNA? That would definitely set TNA apart from WWE and could help get them back to being an alternative wrestling promotion.
I'd rather not debate whether or not TNA will do it -- we all know they won't -- I'm just wondering if it would work?

I don't think so...
Theres no why in hell Angle, Booker T, Christian Cage would stick around and not be in the spotlight, but but rather in the shadows and under the likes of Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Johnny Devine, etc.
- Triple S

I would still love to see TNA give it a shot, none the less.

But under the shadows of Sabin, Shelley, and Styles, they will. Also considering Angle chose to lose CLEAN to Jay Lethal, doesn't seem like Angle has that big of a problem with it. Booker T trains young guys and is trying to get Bobby Roode more over. Christian deserves a spot at the top. But the point is, I don't think Booker and Angle have that big of an issue with it as long as they're seen in a positive way and still collecting good checks. What TNA should do is make 1 hour X division, the second hour the rest.

They just need to start pushing the X-Division again, highlight the differences between that & the Heavyweight division. Build up strong feuds over the strap, build up No.1 contenders and have decent long matches on TV/PPV sometimes even in the main event if built up correctly ala. It doesn't have to replace the Heavyweight division as the main focus of the show but it needs some freaking attention and credibility.

They need to give the x title back to guys like joe, aj, curry man. No way, those guys are above the X title now. AJ and Daniels were in the division for long enough and Joe did all that you could pretty much. They all should be in the main event wrestling for the World title at this point.

When they book it right, it is valued just as much. But right now they don't have main event level talent in the X-Division like they used to. Johnny Devine and Jay Lethal are great, but they haven't been built like AJ, Daniels, and Joe were. The fans love to see good wrestling. Petey Williams and Chris Sabin worked their way in to the upper midcard for a while, back when TNA still cared about the X-Division, just on their wrestling merit.

It doesn't necessarily have to be that drastic. All they need to do is make people care about the X-division again, which is going to be a little more difficult now. Back in 2005, the X-division was stacked. You had Styles, Bentley, Sabin, Kazarian, Shelley, Joe, Daniels, Aries, Strong, Dutt, Williams, Lethal and others. Yeah, it's going to be pretty hard to try and match up to what the X-division was. The return of the World X cup could make the X-division solid again, but I'm not really holding my breath, knowing TNA's piss poor booking.
