Okay, I just read the results for iMPACT tonight (my roommate's birthday is today and we had a party, so I was not able to catch it tonight). Anyway...it sounded like a decent enough show, but I am really excited about next week. First of all, it is LIVE. That is a big deal for TNA. Secondly, they are broadcasting in HD, and that is a big step up, too.
Going along with these technical/logistical improvements, the show itself is shaping up. Booker T has promised to reveal the contents of his briefcase (maybe a new title?), Jay Lethal is challenging Bashir for the X-division belt, Nash and Sting are going to be in tag action against Joe and Styles and that has the potential to be a great match, and Foley says he has a declaration that will shake the wrestling world.
Now, I know TNA has the tendency to play things up more than they should and say things are huge announcements when they are really not, but you have to admit--next week's show is as promising a show as TNA has put out in a LONG time. I really do hope this is a turning point in the company. They need something huge, and I think that this upcoming live show could really be the beginning of something for them.
