I am not getting the character that Booker T is supposed to be portraying. On Impact, he kept saying "in my country" with that stupid accent. He is being billed from Houston, Texas, what country is he talking about?

He is doing a takeoff of the Last King of Scottland. and with no apparent reason....at least in wwe he adopted the royal accent because he won the king of the ring tournament and starting believing he was an actual king. this whole gimmick started because tna didn't treat him right and give him a proper dressing room....so i guess his dressing room is a seperate country that he keeps talking about? who knows.... |

For some unknown reason, he's taking off Idi Amin, the Ugandan dictator, who declared himself 'The Last King of Scotland'.. Booker is speaking like Forrest Whittaker did in the film 'The Last King of Scotland'.. |

I asked the same thing a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't watched TNA in forever, but since I was working BFG I thought I should freshen up a bit. When I heard him, I was just thinking, "WTF is he doing? He sounds like he came right out of Hotel Rwanda."
& before someone jumps on me about that being "racial" I meant it as it sounded very forced & almost fake, as some of the actors in the film sounded as if they were pushing a fake accent
