From wha t I've heard you only need to change the insertion point every 2-3 days... I was on a site where they compared the number of possible injections with the number of possible pump insertions.. it was a few thousand to a couple hundred.. overall it just seems like it would be more convienent to live with the pump.
On a seperate note, after a day and a half of injections I already feel tremendously better.

Paradigm not sure what series.. it is an older model that I have had for almost 10 years. There is a newer one out but I can't remember what it is called. i was thinking about getting a pump more info please like changing the tube and what not , how much trouble is that Its really not that much trouble at all. It says to change out your site every 2 or 3 days but I really don't have time to do that and will usually leave it in for a week or more and it does just fine. Alot of the times I forget I even have it on actually.

They have tape that you can put over the site that will reinforce the site from coming off. I played all 4 years of my high school baseball career with the pump on and it only came out maybe once or twice and that was because I was sliding and it ripped out. Even if it does come out it's not like its that big of a deal all you gotta do is get hooked back up... and honestly I have waited 2 or 3 hours before putting a new site in sometimes because I will be busy with something else.. The pump has a suspend feature so you don't waste insulin when you are not attached. If you have msn you can add me flexhog@hotmail.com .. It is easier to explain this stuff like that.
