Thanks for the recommendations zorro. I'll be sure to check them out. I'll be checking them out, too. Especially The Dark Knight Returns and V for Vendetta. I'll be picking them up from Borders in a few days. As for Watchmen, I got it at Slackers on Friday, and I plan on reading it as soon as I'm done with my Mick Foley book. BTW, thanks for the reccomendations.

I hope this doesn't get lost in the flux, but I'm a big fan of the EC Comics Weird Science-Fantasy lines. Anybody have any good recommendations based off of that? I'm talking more in an animation sense (B. Krigstein, Wally Wood) than just sci-fi but anything is cool.

Has anyone read Marvel Civil War? I was flipping through it at Borders and it looked pretty interesting, but instead I bought Batman: The Killing Joke. So, does anyone reccomend Civil War?

i liked Civil War. but i read it new, so the shock factor was there. reading it without being surprised by anything, it might not be as enjoyable, but it definitely wont be bad.

Anyone have any good Wolverine/Sabretooth/Deadpool recommendations?
I just wanna start reading some of them before Wolverine hits theaters.

Well, for Deadpool. He shines in Cable & Deadpool series that came to a end last year. The new series is no where near as fun C&D.
For Wolverine, I would go with Wolverine: Origins since the movie seems to be following the comic.

Wolverine:
-Enemy of the State -Weapon X -Claremont and Miller's 'Wolverine' -The ongoing 'Wolverine' series -Old Man Logan offers an incredibly badass look into an alternate future.
Edit: STLHERO, Civil War is pretty good.

Well if I were you I would 1st buy Batman R.I.P the TPB, this pretty much sums up whats going on in the batman series right now. Then I would try to find and buy Batman #683,684,685 and 686. So then theres one ongoing series you could read. I'm not much of a DC guy so thats I'll I can say.

A mysterious villain (Hush) tries to take out Batman, using a lot of the rouges gallery against him. It also focuses heavily on Catwoman/Bruce's feeling towards each other. It's really, really good.

i absolutely loved the development of catwoman's and batman's relationship and felt that they REALLY dropped the ball by just kind of 'having things go back as they were'. it's like, bruce actually reveals who he is to her, and then they just forget that and get into some small squabble.

Anyone reccomend 300? I was actually a fan of the movie, so I wouldn't mind reading the comics.
