The sad part is that Christy Hemme can actually sing I thought her song Society Box (her theme, I think they use a remix without her singing now for continuty) was actually well done, and had a similar style to the James Bond themes. Heck, she could probably sing the theme for the next movie! Yeah, I listened to her band the other day & she can sing. I don't see what is so bad about the whole gimmick really. They are taking something people are into (GH/RockBand) & putting it on TV. They are bringing something from soiciety & putting it on the main stage of wrestling. Makes sense to me. I like the gimmick, I just don't like Hoyt and Rave.

The gimmick's concept is fine, and by itself follows Heyman’s philosophy of extracting gimmicks from pop culture. But the execution of the gimmick is what makes it absolute WrestleCrap… Hoyt just comes across like a Tommy Lee wannabe spitting out one random Rock star cliché after another instead of relating the gimmick to the wrestling. Rave’s contribution to the gimmick is the same only he just repeats the same cliché, “We love you… (insert city’s name here.)” Both I assume are trying to be funny but there is no trace of humour to be found. Christy’s one function is to irritate the TNA viewers with her voice and that “TEZZTING, TEZZTING 123, TEZZTING” until thoughts of suicide manifest. I remember when Hoyt was over… around the time he pulled off that turnbuckle to turnbuckle drop kick Shane McMahon used to do. It’s a shame he fell this far to the point where I'd want him off my screen. Rave deserves a lot better as well… he should be a rising star in the X-division right now.

SG I never complain about TNA for stealing ideas unless they don't make them them work ala Sharkboy as Stonecold but I wanted to see peoples thoughts on the Embassy in TNA I really dislike Hoyt besides him being a decent big man he looks like a joke now never the less I want Rave in the X division because hes far too talented to be stuck in this tag team crap, but above Ripper gave the reasons why an average fan would look away from these two as a team as Christy's singing badly purposely and Hoyt trying to be funny hopefully they just drop this all together soon. Also Prince Nana could cut promos for Rave.

Wait, despite the gimmick sucks you guys want it gone? You know an orignal type gimmick that people say badly want. Now, you want them to take something from ROH as "the Embassy" - you know NOT an orginal idea like everyone has wanted. I do not understand this forum. You bitch about no orginal gimmicks, you get one & bitch about it & want something from another promotion.. wow. Amen SG! Now you're growin a set ;D...Really nothing more i can add to that. That's the gist of my rants on this board.

Ripper, I think you're critique is a tad nit picky. They're not to be taken seriously. They're wanna be's

Meh, I used to be a Hoyt fan, but they've ruined him. As for Rave, well, next subject.

That's not what I meant and (I hope) you know it... I'm talking about drama. Where is the drama? You think 'funny' equates to PPV buys for a wrestling promotion? 'Funny' doesn't build feuds that people want to pay to see end. What you call entertaining for a television show, I call a waste of time when the goal should be selling monthly PPVs. "Guy A" and "Guy B" wanting to kill eachother sells PPVs... still entertaining, AND PROFITABLE AS WELL.

So by your definition, you dont think Roode vs Booker was serious or Dudleys vs MCMG, or cage vs Angle. And whether you like it or not, comedy is an integral part of entertainment..again I think TNA gives us a little bit of everything. if we spend less time focusing on everything we personally dont like or think should be changed we might actually be able to apprecaite that.

They should bring a new title for mid carders, like Lance Hoyt,James Storm,Eric Young, etc. I hate seeing James Storm and Eric Young fighting for a toy Spinning belt.

They have one...it's called the X-Division title. Which theoretically, anyone should be allowed to compete for, since Mike Tenay must've told us a billion times that "it's about no limits."

save us and Shocker, you are both right. Again something TNA needs to empahsize a bit more. I'm ok with the x divsion stars like machismo, sabin, etc, but if you're gonna make it no limits then put the belt on otehr people or properly distinguish the x divsion as a "cruiser" title and create a TV title.

They should put the X-division title on James Storm and have him toss around guys like Dutt and Sharkboy for a while... he'd be the new Samoa Joe of the division and it would break the cruiserweight stigma the division has been suffering from ever since Joe, AJ, and Daniels moved on.

Nah, I like machismo. Storm would be better suited for like a TNA tv title...along with Roode, Kaz, etc. Roode could accentuate his arrogance with a tv title
