Why is it that when I watch TNA I feel like I'm getting screamed at? Oh I know! Because Don West is commentating for us. What are they thinking keeping this guy on. Actually Mike Tenay is any better. Maybe the "Professor" was cool when we were younger and nieve watching WCW but now he sucks in TNA. The two don't shut up for a single second. Try it! Watch iMPACT! this week and see if they stop for one breathe. The worse is in ring segments. While WWE does in ring segments properly with commentating as you did not hear JR or King once during JBL's assault in the cage with Hornswoggle and Finlay. They piped in afterwards. If it were Tenay & West commentating they would've talked the whole time. I know TNA storylines are weak right now but for the fans at home's sake let's get some announcers that don't screech at us for 2 hours.

Meh, don't feel like it.
I mean, yes, they do scream a lot. But, at least they're more accurate than Cole and others.

Im fine with Tenay, he's a great announcer if used right, but Don West, Ughhhh GTFO.
Sometimes is yelling does make a Spot go down well, but He f*cking yells at anything that happens and always tells us the f*cking Obvious " LOOK HES WALKING UP THE RING STEPS TO GET INTO THE RING! THAT WAS INSANE ", the Announcers need to stop overreacting like the Wrestlers are doing impossible stuff all the time its getting to the Point where I'd be happier listening to the Spanish Announce team do their announcing even though I can't understand them.
Sure sometimes its fine to tell us whats happening when we can't really make out whats going on, but they do it all the f*cking time.

Well I think what's happening in the ring sometimes lends itself to silence for dramatic affect, but I heard numerous times on monday, just dead spots where during the match ross/Lawler siad nothing...it was awkward, like they forgot. I agrre Tenay and West do talk too much somtines and sometimes West sounds like he's gonna pass out. they are baoth very dated...not the worst commentary team on tv( i'd say coach/cole, and Tazz), but not the best. I think TNA would do a great service to its viewers and get the product more on edge wiht a younger audience if they hire a guy like Kris Kloss from WSX. |

I have to agree, less is more and these guys just blab way too much. We can see what's on the freaking screen for crying out loud. They feel like they need to spell everything out to be more dramatic. Like if Don West gets hyped I'm going to get more hyped. Please, this is the same guy that lost his mind over beanie babies back during his home shopping network days.

They are paid to talk, so that's what they do. If the didn't talk as much as they do, then someone would be here bitching that they're too quiet.
I would love to see TNA get rid of Don West, bring in one or two WRESTLING COLOR COMMENTATORS and use Mike Tenay the same way he was used in WCW.

I'm fine with Tenay, but I hate Don West screaming after a simple move. I could understand him screaming when Skipper walked the top of the cage, but him screaming at AJ attacking Cage or something is really annoying.

I don't care how much Mike Tenay knows about wrestling, I want him to take his stupid lips that he sticks out like he's eating an out of date apple and leave TNA.
