As others said ... I think HBK was inured but could have wrestled, he just didn't want to job to Bret. I am a huge HBK mark and he is my favorite wrestler of all time, but even I know he could've wrestled, but simply didn't.

I find it funny that "apparently" Shawn was made to wrestle at Mania 14 by people who thought he wasnt hurt and that ended up being his last match (i think) for 4 years... good call
I believe that the story has got so many different stories that its hard to tell whats true and whats made up... the thing is it happened...you cant change that... all we see as wrestling fans is Shawn winning at WM 12 in a great match, Shawn being injured at WM 13 and Brett put on another great match with Austin, at WM 14 Bret had left for WCW and Shawn and Austin put on another great match
who cares who scewed who.... just watch the dam wrestling

As I always understood it, he was really hurt, though not nearly as bad as he claimed.

i think Bret just threw a stink at hbk at wm12 because after hbk won, bret tried talking to him to congradulate(sp) during his celebration in the ring and hbk basically told him to piss off and get out of the ring(bret talks about it in his book i belive)but as the previous person said already, hbk was suppose to drop it to bret at wm13 but hey, we atleast got bret/austin at mania instead While HBK states Bret left the ring without "congradulating" him, period Look at it like this.... Wrestlemania 20...Everyone remembers Eddie and Chris at the end. Had Bret congradulated Michaels, the moment would've been Shawn and Bret's. Bret had already been main-eventing for what? 5 years? It was Shawn's moment, and I don't blame him for not wanting to share it either. |

so shawn had serious back problems in WM14 but still wrestled so ithink he could of wrestled on WM13 cuz he wasnt injured as bad and yes i love hbk but i agree with Likwid--[[Kept Grindin]]
