In late 2007 to early 2008 a little superstar gained some big attention particularly in the McMahons son angle. The presence of Hornswoggle became more and more apparent and this year he finally received his highly anticipated figure in RA series 35. This review will look at the figure evaluating how accurate it is. First, some overall loose shots: Now i will rate the figure out of 5 for each part of it and add them up for the overall rating. The 5 categories are: -Headscan (Accuracy, lacking anything, appropriate) -Torso (Designs, torso choice, problems) -Arms/Tattoos (Pads, tattoos, hand-wear) -Legs (Designs, tattoos, problems, feet, pads, boots) -Accessory (Appropriate, accuracy) Category 1: HeadscanThe headscan of this figure is rather good. It captures his most common look of screaming. The crazy little individual generally screams so the scan is the best choice as a neutral scan wouldn’t have been a great choice. The teeth generally ruin figures but it doesn’t harm this scan. The bear is done extremely well made of a mold. The only slight flaw on the head is it COULD look slightly cartoonish but it’s a matter of opinion. It is typical of hornswoggle to also have black smudges on his face however the figure doesn’t have this. As per the cartoonish element it’s a matter of opinion. Overall it’s a decent scan and will score well with the only flaws being subjective or a matter of preference. 4.5/5 Category 2: TorsoOne of the best things about the figure is quite obvious- it contains all new molds. The torso is a great representation of this. A molded vest on a skinny body not to mention a properly sized jacket and the undershirt is highly accurate. The frill part of the shirt is even molded. One thing some people may not know is the green vest is actually gliterry to add detail. The attire is based off hornswoggles earlier times in wwe when he did not feature the logo on his collar for those who were wondering. In essence, the torso is flawless. Hence, 5/5 Category 3: ArmsAgain new molds are used throughout. The arms feature the rest of the jacket but also the patterned undershirt around the wrists all molded for him especially. The hands are also specially for him and are in that grabbing shape so you can replicate the ‘crazy hornswoggle’ pose. The articulation is also fine and is not a problem at all increasing just how good this figure is. New molds=flawless= 5/5 Category 4: LegsAgain, more new molds! The legs are very important for hornswoggle as the legs is one of the things that makes him so short. They got the right thickness and right height of the legs. The articulation is again perfectly fine. Now the legs do have flaws in the shoes. Despite having molds, the laces and trimming of the shoes is not painted green. This is probably the figures most obvious (and pretty much only) flaw. A little paintjob could fix it up despite jakks lack of painting it. However the cost in making the figure was probably there reason to make this little cut. So despite this flaw, being all new molds with great articulation, 3/5 Category 5: AccessoryIf the figure itself wasn’t good enough then the accessories are just taking it to another level. The first ever shilleglh (cant ever spell it ) has been included and includes details on it such as white spots. The hat of hornswoggle also comes with the figure and fits perfectly. Its got a golden outline and band around the hat showing jakks going to the extra mile to get it right. Cant flaw these. 5/5 ScoresHeadscan: 4.5/5 Torso: 5/5 Arms/Tattoos: 5/5 Legs: 3/5 Accessory: 5/5 Final Score: 22.5/25Overall Comment:This figure is extremely good as represented by the mark. Its one of the more perfect figures jakks has put out and a true candidate for figure of the year. It’s a shame I cant give the figure 25/25 because of minor minor things but the figure is extremely good and there is a severe minority that would be better than it. All new molds, properly scaled, fantastic accessories and one thing is it isn’t an exclusive, its in an actual RA normal line. A sensational figure and will be the gem of a collection. HIGHLY recommended buying. Hope it was helpful, kaneisdaman

wow, that's an awesome review, you really put work in on it. and hornswoggle is an awesome figure, far & away the best fig of the year imo. i'll actually go a step further and say it's one of the best figures jakks has ever released. he was highly anticipated & they delivered it spot on.

Awesome review. I agree 95% with your ratings, I think the legs should be a 4 out of 5, I believe Hornswoggle has worn all white shoes before even still a little green paint shouldn't take off 2 points in my opinion. Other than that you are right about everything, it's without a doubt the figure of the year...perhaps THE figure of the last few years
and for those wondering:
It's ' shileighleigh '

and for those wondering: It's ' shileighleigh ' No, it's shillelagh (or sail éille in the native Irish).

I agree whole-heartedly, it is definitely figure of the year. Perhaps the best WWE figure they have made considering all the variables that went into it. Great review.

Excellent review. Have you done more of these in the past? Thanks, indeed i have. Awesome review. I agree 95% with your ratings, I think the legs should be a 4 out of 5, I believe Hornswoggle has worn all white shoes before even still a little green paint shouldn't take off 2 points in my opinion. Other than that you are right about everything, it's without a doubt the figure of the year...perhaps THE figure of the last few years and for those wondering: It's ' shileighleigh ' Well there isnt much to rate for the lower body as he doesnt have designs so the details hold more value. I think 2 is fair but its subjective. I wasnt sure about the shoes and didnt want to make claims i cannot back up, just from pics i had of him with this attire i saw him with green shoes so went with that as well as his proto having the green. Thanks man i really enjoy your reviews, great pics. Did you find it in stores?? Just wondering because i havent been to TRU in a while and i really want this figure. In stores yes but not the conventional retail store, it was a specialty one.
