Well, I just feel like not watching it once he's gone. I think I have enough to reminisce on with the Tennant/Eccleston series and the classic stuff I've got.
I think even most classic fans admit that Tennant has been a great Doctor.
All I know is James Nesbitt would be f'in awful!
The Doctor should pretty much always be a fresh face who is relatively new to TV and not identified strongly with another part.

im pretty sure it will be Morrissey. The doctor has meant his parst incarnations before, so its no different to meeting a future one, and with the rumours going around the christmas special, this seems to be the plot.

According to some paper... apparently, Phillip Glenister is a possible candidate.... and i for one would love it, as we have seen a pretty young / hyper doctor, Glenister could take it a completely different direction (also, imagine if John Simm returned as the master )

To be honest, I am not care about that. IMO Tom Beaker is best person to play as Dr Who. Dr Who used be awesome, and use real thing. And now Dr Who just use graphic thing which sort of ruin the programmmer. However, the rumour and suggest for next Dr Who are: Paterson Joseph, David Morrisey, James Nesbitt, or John Simm.I think James Nesbitt could made good Dr Who. John Simm played the Master. James Nesbitt is too old.

Whilst i wouldn't want him in the part... he is not too old... look at the original 3 doctors... i think an older Doctor would be good, especially since Steven Moffat is taking over (which i think will result in scarier episodes)

The series needs a young person to be the Doctor, a lot has changed in the last 40 years of TV.

The series needs a young person to be the Doctor, a lot has changed in the last 40 years of TV. I understand that may be the case, but i just hope they don't make him act like the 'hyperish' 10th doctor, not because i idn't like it but its too soon to have another one... look through all 10 doctors and each it very different from the next one. In my opinion, the best way it make it different is to have someone older as they can seem a little more serious or darker (which is how i see the series going since Moffat is taking over) Also, i'm not saying i want a 1st / 3rd style docter who are significantly old... just a little bit older

Did anyone watch the christmas preview on children in need? Seems to me that Morrisey will be the doctor at some point, i think that its too obvious that he will be the 11th. Maybe the 12th, i also think that black lady will be his companion.
