Ino there are quite a couple of Doctor Who fans on these boards. So for those who dont know David Tennant during his acceptance speech at the NTA he said that he will start filming the 4 specials in Jan 2009 but in the 2010 series he wont be there so he is gonna regenerate in the 4th special Im pretty sad about tht  he was an awesome doctor me watching the 2010 series will depend on who the new doctor is |

I was hoping that Tennant would stick on for a bit longer, but I'm intrigued on who the new Doctor will be.

Eccleston was a much better doctor than Tennant; I was gutted when he left after just one series.

He'll have done The S1 cliffhanger CIN short Christmas S2 Christmas S3 CIN Christmas S4 CIN? (probably not cos there was no cliffhanger) Christmas 4 Specials 2005-2009 50 times hes appeared as the doc according to tht count (51 if you count Extras) |

which would make you a dirty commoner? Anyway, i'm not suprised... seeing as RTD is leaving. I hope they don't advertise it everywhere like they did with Rose's return and Davros... i hope the new doctor will be a mystery until he is actually seen on screen Is it me, or did Tate look especially awful at the award ceremony? |

Gutted about this, though with the rumours coming up about the christmas special and the 'two doctors', David Morrissey seems to be in line to be the 11th doctor, or maybe even the 12th or 13th doctor depending on what happens in the Christmas Episode. Cant agree with people saying Tennant was the best doctor though, watch some of the older episodes, i personally like Pertwee, although Baker was also good. Tennant so far has been in 47 episodes, including mini episodes and the regeneration scene, so likely to be 52 by the end of his run. Quite a good length as doctor really.

To be honest, I am not care about that. IMO Tom Beaker is best person to play as Dr Who.
Dr Who used be awesome, and use real thing. And now Dr Who just use graphic thing which sort of ruin the programmmer.
However, the rumour and suggest for next Dr Who are: Paterson Joseph, David Morrisey, James Nesbitt, or John Simm.
I think James Nesbitt could made good Dr Who.

I dont think itll John Simm because he is too recognisable in dw for being the master
Hopefully Jenny is the companion next year or with the new doctor

I'd love to see that happen as i am a major John Simm fan |
