I'm really not sure. I gotta imagine that they can't possibly deny him any longer, but there's a part of me that thinks Angle will retain again..

Yes, he will take out the Alliance at DX if it hasn't broken up on it's own by then. THen he will have Kurt in the cage where noone can get in.. so yes.

I guess, but who ing cares anymore. As I said before, this is 2-2 years too late. Sure it will be cool if he wins but it would have been an awesome moment had he won at BFG'05, BFG'06, hell even BFG'07.

Yeah, with him saying he's leaving if he doesn't win he's certainly taking it
Either that or he'll leave and come back as "Samoan Curry" in a tag team with Daniels

If Joe wins at Lockdown, it'll be like RVD winning the title at ONS '06: well-deserved, but put off far too long to make an impact anymore.

Except maybe winning it 5 years earlier, during the height of the Invasion, when he was arguably the most over man in the company. That was the comparison I was trying to make: Both men should've won the title when they were the most over.

Heck yes he will. Joe is one of the best wrestlers in TNA right now and really needs a belt on him. Its either Joe of Christain, take your pick.

Sure it might be late but still well deserved and the smartest thing TNA has done all year. I just hope he gets a year long title reign.

No, they're going to give everybody watching the middle finger if they're expecting a title change.

After watching over the last two years, I don't think he's ever getting the title.
But if he does, it's not going to mean much at this point. Like someone else on this board said, "You got to strike the iron when it's hot". However, maybe if he gets a long, atleast decent reign, it can be good. Then maybe a once-potential main eventer like Christopher Daniels or AJ Styles can finally take the title from him (credit to whoever had this idea).
...but of course, it's probably not happening. I've gotten my hopes up way too many times.
