Report: Tommy Dreamer Arrives At TNA Show In NYC

Dave Scherer of PWInsider is reporting that WWE Superstar and former ECW star Tommy Dreamer arrived at tonight's sold-out TNA house show in New York City. Dreamer apparently arrived with Christian Cage.
TNA President Dixie Carter is also at the building and there are rumblings that some sort of "surprise" is going to happen.

I would love to see Dreamer in TNA. He deserves more success than he has acheived in his career. He doesn't necessarly need to be TNA's top guy or anything, but he deserves more than he will ever get in McMahon land.

We don't even know if this is true & people already hate it? If he does anyone wanna guess on how long it is untill WF turns on him (ala Booer, Sting, Angle, Christian)

Besides, we don't even know if this story is true. Even if he really is backstage at the show, it's probably just to visit friends. If Tommy Dreamer were to join TNA, he would have had to been fired from the WWE. They would have posted something about it on their website and he would have to go through the 90-day no compete policy. Besides, if TNA was somehow able to cut through all that red tape, I would imagine that they would save his debut for a PPV. |

I just realized that it's 11:00 central time, midnight New York time... Surely the house show must be over by now. Any news on TNA's surprise?

There was no surprise according to PWInsider's report on the show.
Brother Ray got on the mic after their match and pointed out that Little Guido and Dreamer were in the balcony at the venue. He had the crowd chant "Fat Ass" at Dreamer and said he was gonna see how much trouble he could get Dreamer into, then asked the fans if they wanted to see Dreamer in TNA.
The only thing I can see is that Borash did an episode of TNA Today and teased that they might be doing a PPV from New York.
