Hey guys just wondering when Hall and Nash came to WCW to begin with what your thoughts were? Did you think they were going to make as big of an impact as they did?
Me personally I was younger at the time so I was just in amazement at the time because I was seeing "Razor Ramon" & "Diesel" on Nitro.

I thought they were going to set up a WWF vs. WCW PPV.

Oh, i was flipping out, not doubt about it.
Those were good times indeed, and it will likely never happen again.

I remember watching this one saturday morning and I was dumbstruck........
I had wondered where they were going with this but I never thought they would turn Vinnie into no2 for so long.
I also remember being fully convinced that Bret Hart was the 3rd man.......because by July 96 he hadnt been on WWF tv for 3+ months.didnt stop me being blown away by Hogan turning heel though.

Good times indeed - and you're right Vinnie Vegas had an awesome theme lol
Nah, in all honesty - the whole controversy of who was going to jump to the WCW next had caught my attention like nothing else in wrestling at the time - the amount of suspense building up to BATB 96 was off the chart!

I remember that vividly. I turned on WCW during a Raw break and saw Diesel and Razor. I was confused beyond belief.

was beautiful...and what brought wrestling back to it's pipularity in the 90's... IMO saved Wrestling and the outsiders are my favorite tag team of all time!

i named by fantasy football team the outsiders back in 2001 when i was 12 and i've kept it since despite a lack of major money won. i'm sure you are all fascinated by this.

I thought it was amazing. I'd just started watching Nitro because we stopped subscribing to Sky Sports. I think Macho Man vs DDP was the main feud at the time, then Razor and Diesel were tearing it up. It was huge. I remember being so curious about who the third member was, then reading on teletext one morning before school that it was Hogan and I couldn't wait to see Nitro that week (we got it on Friday nights here... Same night we got Raw).

I thought it was one of the best storylines in wrestling history. Hall and Nash were the ultimate tag team. I always wondered if Hall had that "World Champ" material. However, I hear when in WCW he had a terrible drinking problem.

loved the outsiders in WCW, were probably my two favorite wrestlers during that era. loved hall's lone wolf run.
