Randy is hardly 68.. He is hardly 48. Couture got dominated. Plain and simple. Brock is deffinatly a force in MMA in the future. IDK if he can beat Nogeira. But I guess we will see.. That is unless he has to face Mir again.... Once again, I don't know what fight you saw, but nobody dominated anybody. We watched the same fight, Hetfield. I didn't see a domination either way. Randy got the better of the stand up in round one, and backed Brock into the cage. Brock took Randy down, but Randy got back up. Randy took Brock's back, but Brock bucked him off. Brock got a good position, and Randy escaped. Enter round two, and it was more of the same until Brock connected on the button. IT was a very entertaining fight. I am very upset with the result, but what can you do. Here are my Fantasy results, as usual.

good fights. but not great. brock won, but it isn't a big deal to me. i said awhile ago Nog is a better challenge for lesnar. couture is to small. Randy weighs 195 normally. Brock weighs 280. that's 85 pounds. Although i hoped Couture's heart would carry him. Nog weighs a legit 240.

Not sure what fight you were watching. I really didn't see either of them being better or worse than the other. Watch again. Lesnar clearly outwrestled him when they were down and also outstruck him. Open your eyes.

He did alright, but he is still an arrogant ass. He will lose the title to the next credible fighter he faces and that's a guaran-damn-tee.

He has now beat 2 legit HW. One of which is one of the best fighters of all-time. Apparently that even means nothing now.

He showed respect before, during, and after the fight, just because he says he is going to win during his pre-fight interviews doesn't mean he is arrogant. He is confidant, any fighter going into a fight doubting himself should not be fighting. I'm not saying Brock Lesnar is better a fighter than Randy Couture but the fact remains that Brock got the better of Couture tonight, that's the plain and simple truth.

I watched the fight and I must say it was a good fight. I am so glad brock won, but couture did get the better of brock in first round though.

I started watching UFC again a few months ago and I saw this at a friends house and damn. I really thing Brock's old nickname stands for what he is now. I'd like to see Lesnar/Mir II to see if Brock has improved. Can anyone catch me up on what's happened over the last year because I just started watching again a while ago as I said earlier?

In his two successful title defenses he destroyed both of his opponents and has beaten a who's who of MMA's biggest names.

I really wanted to see Randy win because I've been a fan of his for a long time. I can't stand Lesnar. He's to arrogant for my liking. Randy did great, but Lesnar was just way to big.

I don't know where all the hate for Lesnar has came from, infact people should respect him for doing a real contact sport for less money than what he was on with Pro wrestling.
The guy was on a ****load of money in the WWE, a whole lot more than he earns now thats for sure.
Well done to Lesnar on winning the title, i gave him little chance when he joined the UFC, and i honestly thought Randy would win a late stoppage or UD victory.

People are going to say that Couture's age had an issue here, but it didn't. It literally was a good punch to the temple that did it. I dont mean to be a dick, but did you even see where the punch landed or even know where the temple is located ? the punch landed right behind the ear, the temple is located on the side or your face, right behind your eyes. either way it was a decent fight. It was a tough fight for Randy to take after not fighting for so long, but whatever. crap happens. I still dont see him holding that belt for long.

I figured this win would get Brock a little respect from the so-called real mma fans that are on alot of chat broads, but some try to think that he is now less legit then before the fight. Now Randy is just some 45 year old guy who hasn't had a fight in over a year and shouldn't have been in a fight with a guy that big and not Randy Couture one of the best mma fighters in the sports history. But what can you expect of people just started really watching UFC maybe in the last two or three years but says they have been watching since UFC 1 and only hate on Brock for being a former pro wrestler.

Told us what? Lesnar really didn't dominate in the fight, all he got was a good punch and won. If it went 5 rounds and Lesnar won by decision, I can see where you're going. Um, yeah, I said Lesnar would out-wrestle him, which he did, and out-strike him; which he did. And obviously he's much stronger. What I've been saying is that Lesnar is a BETTER version of Randy Couture. I know, I was pulling with Couture but I'm actually agreeing with you here Kilq. Lesnar was far too big for couture and got what? Like 3 takedowns on him? Couture got zero, yes Coture was able to stand up but that doesnt exactly give you points.

It's the whole pro wrestling thing, it really is. It drives some people insane to think that any former pro wrestler might actually be legit enough to compete in MMA. I don't know why people get so livid at the idea, but they do. It doesn't fit into their cookie-cutter idea of all pro wrestlers as jokes, frauds, and laughing stocks. When they're confronted with the idea that they might owe a former WWE champion a little respect as an athlete, it breaks their brains. They just can't process it.
