well, tonight me and 2 of my buddies went to the TNA show in Westbury, and i must say i had a pretty good time.
The show started and the announcer kept announcing whoever was the loudest fan, would get to go back stage. i saw them bring like 1-2 people max, but it was supposed to be a bunch of people.
The matches were pretty good.
Jay Lethal vs Sonjay was a great, high action match for the x-division title, which saw Jay Lethal coming out victorious.
There was also a long island street fight, between the MCMG and 3D. Team 3D got a HUGE pop, and MCMG got booed like crazy. The match ended with a powerbomb by bubba to i belive sabin through the table (i couldnt really see who)
After the match, Bubba got on the mic, and was gonna give a fan a piece of the table from the match. D-Von pulls up a little "black" kid, and Bubba goes "out of all the kids here.....you pick the black one?!?" jokingly. So they bring up a white kid. the first kid who got in the ring was like 2 years old, and started crying, and he left the ring (willingly lol) so they brought up another kid. they each got a piece of the table
The last match of the night between Kurt and Christian for the TNA title was a great match, one of the best i've seen in TNA. back and forth action the whole time, showing Christian kicking out of a angle slam, escaping a few ankle locks. Christian hitting an impertier (or w/e its called), and kurt kicking out. Christian went up top, but was takin too long, so angle runs up and hits him with an angle slam from the top, and christian kicks out at 2! the match finally ended with an ankle lock, and kurt retained the title.
there were 4 other matches, but these were the 3 best IMO
after the show, they had done something really great for the fans. they had a bunch of the wrestlers come out and sign autographs, and kurt stayed in the ring, and for $20 you could get a signed poloroid with him in the TNA ring. i didnt do that, cuz i'm broke so i just stood around ringside getting autographs.
I wound up getting my ticket stub signed by Homocide/Hernandez and Gail Kim
I also had my WcW US title with me, which i bring to all wrestling events to get signed. i whore that thing out like crazy lol
i wound up getting the following autos on it
AJ Styles (when he looked at the belt, he held it and pretended to kick it lol)
Brother D-Von
Hoyt
Storm
The others signing autos were (didnt want any of them though or Jackquelin
Eric Young
Sonjay
Samoa Joe (wouldnt sign my belt)
Jeremy Borash
Rudy Charles
Motor City Machine Guns
Overall, the night was good, and my first TNA experience went great.
