After a great deal of speculation regarding his future with TNA Wrestling, it now appears Christian Cage will remain with the company. Backstage sources indicate that he did not intend to leave the company and reports coming out about his possible departure were untrue. Cage expressed to WWE officials that he had no interest in re-signing with them. TNA believes if Christian were to leave that he would have made his intentions known by now.
There must be some real clown reporters out there to just speculate that WWE was holding off Edge's return to TV due to Christian's pending return. That is completely untrue and made up by whoever first 'reported' it. We were caught off guard and clueless when a caller asked us about it this past week on our weekly WZR Radio show.

(TNAWrestlingNews.com) Irony. Anyway, good for TNA, but I was sort of hoping he'd go back to the WWE as there's not much left for him to do in TNA. But he's had a good run in TNA so I'm fine.

agreed. think he's better suited for TNA & getting the spotlight where he wasn't before in WWE.

Probably the best news I've heard this week. I'm glad Christian Cage has made the decision to stay with TNA, where he'll continue to be in the main event, unlike WWE, where your future is unknown. Would have liked to see him in WWE, but TNA is better.

Aw man, I actually thought he had pretty much run his course in TNA. Would have rather seen him back to WWE really. If he's happy that's fine. I like him and all it just seem like he hasn't really been doing anything intersting in TNA for a while. Though booking his probably the main reason.

According to Meltzer, he may be on his way out.

The big thing is - Christians a private guy. Just like when he came to TNA - he tol everyone he wasn't gonna go even though he did. The only people who know right now is Christian and his wife (and maybe WWE/TNA).

I still think he will go to WWE, as someone said he is very private, so nnobody will know until we all do

This should really be locked, because nothing has been confirmed.. Guess what - half of these "reports" haven't been confirmed either. So, let's just lock them while we're at it.

I think that Christian should return back to WWE. I don't watch TNA programing (maybe about 5 minutes of TNA footage every 2 months) so it would be good to watch him regularly again.
