Sure, it does make sense to not give it to us right off the bat, but if they are not going to give it to us, there is no reason for them to advertise it, and then not back out at the last second and say "nope, just kidding, Cody Rhodes is going to fight in his place." It makes no sense. That is really bad business. Actually, it's good business. If they said "Tune in later tonight for Cody Rhodes vs Batista!", nobody would care. Rhodes wanting to fight instead of Orton actually creates a storyline. Will it get people to watch? Absolutely. Does that make it good business? No. If I were running a business and we were hosting a party and I advertised Randy Orton to be a guest there, and instead I decided to bring in Cody Rhodes instead, that would piss a lot of people that came to the party off, right? They are still there at the party. That does not make them happy. That does not make me a good business man. It makes me underhanded. It is lying. |
