I figure I would post something about myself and being a wrestling fan as a little kid, very little kid....like i've liked it since I was born. Young enough to see Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat live as he blew fire over the crowd.
I was pretty much born into a wrestling fan, I don't talk like a hick, i'm not overweight, i'm not a 'geek' or a redneck like the stereotypes would make me out to be. I don't make love to my family and I don't wear overalls. I don't drive a Poo truck or crash it on the highway and realise that it's my time to help out a recently retired top wrestler from a federation.
We all have our embarassing moments as wrestlings fans though. We've embarassed ourselves many many times in public blurting something out with wrestling involved in front of a girl that didn't care.
What embarassing moments do you ever recall having being a wrestling fan...other than collecting figures - I kid ..I kid

Summerslam thoughts
When I was a kid, I didn't know what the hell Summerslam meant. I was about 4/5 at the time and the PPV name didn't stick with me until that time.
Instead of it being one of the big wrestling PPV's. I imagined a red room where wrestlers would go into together and fight while trying to put each others heads in lockers and trying to slam the door shut on them to win their match.
I was pretty disappointed when it was NOTHING like that on TV at the time.
--------------
Earthquake
Again, I was about 4/5. My dad was looking at the lights of the house and they were shaking, so he figured there was an small earthquake, nothing to be alarmed about.
Of course, I was excited. I didn't really understand what an earthquake could be other than the wrestler. So in my mind, I figured earthquake was out, jumping on my house as hard as he could to make it shake like it was.

Theme Songs
I used to have this tape that had WWF superstars music on them. Million Dollar Man, Ultimate Warrior, among many others, the songs were about a minute long and I listened to them before Kiddie College everyday.
The Million Dollar mans laugh after saying "You will be bought" scared the crap out of me and I never liked listening to that part with his laugh at the end.
I always thought Dusty Rhodes theme song in the into said "A mannnn we caAAaall..JEAN!~ Damn does that song in' RULE lol
-----------
Live events
My favorite live Events from the past are Summerslam/Surivor Series 89 and Wrestlemania 7. I watched all those PPVs all the time as a preteen. You guys think you're lucky finding your parents porn stash...I was happy to find my old memories of wrestling
I was the kid that got scared when Undertaker made his entrance. When his music came on and I heard the bells, I tried to hide under my chair cause I thought I was gonna die.
