It won worst feud of the year 1999, lol. Anyway, I am enjoying reading this diary, I liked the WWF during the late 90's. It was what I grew up watching. The feuds are well done and you are very detailed with your matches. I just hope that Big Show has a decent title run and moves away from the Big Bossman. I like the Kane/X-Pac feud and also the fact that Chyna will defend her Intercontinental Championship against Chris Jericho. Keeping her in the male division is a good choice. Good job and I'll be reading moire when RAW goes up. (Note: The last match on HeAT says Match #3, shouldn't it be #4 )

Here goes
Kaientai deserve to be on Raw for me although I see why you placed them on Heat, still push them to the moon.
Venus/Bulldog seems a good feud, Bulldog ftw.
The replays of Raw etc always get good ratings
Push Richards please. I'd of preferred him to defeat Albert but still
Again a video of SD! this time these get goof %'s
Hardcore belt defended on Heat's mid-card? I'm not digging it.
Interview with test was bound to get a good percent but to me that wouldnt appear on Heat
Yer, suppose its good Henry and E+C won this one. Not a big Holly's fan myself

Um, Tom, this is HeAT man...It once feature an interview filling up the whole hour with Triple H back here. This has nothing to do with the diary really so I shouldn't be posting, but it has to be said, quit being so defensive on your diaries. If people have an opinion then that's their choice, no need to go around defending your point, even if you do think it's wrong.

I'm just making sure that he/people know what it was like around here. I was only reassuring him. NOT I repeat telling him what his opinion is. And he's my friend, so that kinda beats that up the ass.

This diary is going good, it feels very 1999ish/2000ish in a lot of ways.
I liked the opening segment with DX and Test, hopefully we do see a Test push and hopefully the stuff with Triple H stealing Steph isn't just tossed aside but rather used to launch Test's push. Val Venis interfering and going after Bulldog is good, Bulldog was pretty much done and dusted at this time so hopefully Venis picks up the Euro title. The Jericho/Chyna segment was well written and nice build towards their match. Angle/Gillberg not much to really comment on except I hope Angle is mega pushed and the lightweight title comes off Gillberg. Matt/Angle should be good as well. The Snow/Rock/Mankind stuff was interesting and pretty well written out, I look forward to seeing where that heads as well. The main event was good to further some feuds, I look forward to seeing where the McMahon/Helmsley stuff leads and hopefuly some Test involvement.
The Armaggedon card is similar but different to the actual one and I look forward to seeing what you do with it.
Everything is going good you've captured 1999 and the characters well, I do feel you had too much on the show, I know WWF around this time was backstage heavy with short and many matches, but it kinda defeatd the purpose of EWR if segments aren't even in there imo anyway, I don't care that much because you've got a good thing going on here and I look forward to more.

IGN SMACKDOWN! COUNTDOWN! DAY ONE: MANKINDMonday 6th December 1999Height6' 2" Weight297 lbs. Finishing MoveMandible Claw "Have a Nice Day!" If you start hearing voices in your head, and those voices sound somewhat like Mankind, get rid of your head. Wrestling's greatest, disturbing, yet most loved freak show is Mankind, a hulking blob of man wrapped tightly in a never-washed business suit and cinched down with leather. On his hand is Socko, Mankind's best friend. I think you get the picture here -- the man's a nut. Or maybe you don't get the picture. Maybe I have to explain to you that this wacko is a glutton for punishment, sometimes inviting chair shots to the head, other times leaping off 20 story cage walls onto opponents. Or that the man has been body slammed onto a bed of tacks and nails several times. Or maybe I need to tell you that this loon hold the record in the wrestling world for having the least amount of ears! Yep, that's why we love this big fool. He can take a kick, a lick, a stick, a trick, a tick, a brick, a Bic, and even a chick (if she were so inclined to hook up with this mental case). Mankind is also a heck of a wrestler: he weighs over 250 lbs, and can jump nearly 12 feet off a turnbuckle (the only wrestler who can do that). Whether he's Mick Foley, Dude Love, or the newly reborn Cactus Jack, this psycho is a wrestling phenomenon.

Monday 6th December 1999 We review the happenings from last Thursday night's edition of SmackDown!, which was live on UPN. It shows us of several matches in highlights before cutting to the main attraction and main event of the show, the tag team match between Degeneration X's X-Pac and Triple H & Test and Kane. It shows us the ending image where Stephanie McMahon was forced to celebrate with victors, HHH and X-Pac before we hear Vince's voice echo, saying that he has got a 'big announcement'.'Thorn In Your Eye' begins to play into the arena, immediately hyping up the entire show with the prescence of the opening video package. This video is very fast-paced showing extremely brief clips of WWF superstars. The video package ends with the RAW logo appearing before we cut to the live arena where pyrotechnics are going off on the stage in front of the RAW set as 'All Together Now' plays. Announcers, Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler run down the card for the evening."Well, it's the Big Show!", white sparks fly above the stage surface as the crowd get pumped up for the arrival of the WWF Champion, the Big Show. Show appears dressed in his ring trunks and a sleeveless shirt as he walks down the ramp, the WWF Championship around his waist and a frown upon his face. Big Show walks around the ring and grabs a microphone from a nearby stage-hand as he climbs into the ring and cuts a promo on everything that is going on, from Degeneration X now trying to recruit and kidnap Stephanie McMahon to Mankind and The Rock's relationship being threatened by Al Snow, or visa-versa. Show bases this segment mainly around the Big Bossman in which he makes fun of the fact that Bossman got hung by a gothic guy who was hurt himself by an injured shoulder. Show put over the fact that Bossman had the nerve to butcher and serve Al Snow's dog as a meal. Bossman then came out to the stage as he cut one of his greatest promos to date, challenging Show to wrestle tonight, not waiting thirteen days for their Armageddon battle. Show accepts and tells Bossman to bring it as we cut to a commercial. [86%] Match #1: Big Show defeated Big Bossman to retain the WWF Heavyweight ChampionshipThis was a solid encounter between two big men, both of these competitors put on a valiant showing out there in the ring with their high-impact wrestling skills and abilities. This has to be Big Bossman's greatest match in his career so far, I mean he did some very impressive stuff out in the ring against Big Show. This was a lengthy heated battle in an effort to finally put an end to the feud between these two, which spanned back to October. It should be interesting to see who's next for Show to challenge as the WWF Champion, seeing that Triple H is busy [and he was the number one contender]. Show took a huge bit of offense, which is obviously due to him being the larger man of the match. Bossman however used his nightstick baton behind the official's back on Show, that's when Bossman began to beat down and pound away at Show. He kept Show on the floor in the rest-holds and nailed the Bossman Slam, which is massively impressive, especially for Bossman. He repeatedly kept getting two counts however, and eventually, Show had regained offense. Prince Albert, Bossman's associate as of late, however ran down to the ring and tried to jump Show but was unsuccessful. Show nailed Bossman with his Showstopper and it was over at the eleven minute mark. After the match, however, Albert jumped Show again and Bossman along with Albert double-teamed Show. However it was The Rock who ran in for the save as we cut to the commercials. [88%] We return from the commercial break to see Vince McMahon in his office with Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco seated. McMahon hyped up his feud with Triple H and that he has an announcement regarding what will happen at Armageddon will begin tonight. Patterson asks McMahon what he has in store but McMahon goes off topic and mentions Chris Jericho's recent meanstreak and that he believes that WWF Divas don't belong on the WWF roster. McMahon states that the divas will be back on WWF television this Thursday night when Ivory will face Jacqueline for Ivory's WWF Womens Championship. McMahon makes Chris Jericho vs. Kane for tonight, just to make Jericho respect women. [93%] We cut to the interview set where Kevin Kelly is standing by with Kurt Angle. Kelly asks Angle what prompted angle into causing his upcoming match with Matt Hardy to happen. Angle simply told Kelly that he was in this business to make an impact and that he wanted to lift America's spirits, especially since their reputation as a country was at an all-time low what with everybody threating about the Y2K Problem and thinking that they could do what they wanted in the final month. Kurt tells the world to shut up and tells them that nothing will happen. Match #2: Kurt Angle defeated Matt Hardy This was an expectedly good match between two young superstars that were very experienced in the aerial and technical styles. The momentum in this match swayed rapidly, back and forth as these two played a great contest. However it was pretty awkward at times in which neither man knew exactly what was next. The audience were into it and Matt was over, though Terri was a slight turnoff for the crowd suprisingly in my opinion. I'd be very turned on if Terri was watching and the camera was near the floor looking up...I'm sorry I've said too much. Angle seemed to underestimate Matt prior to this match in the interview segment before, as Hardy simply ploughed through Angle repeatedly using his arm drags and fast-paced moves, Hardy even flew over the top rope and hit Angle with a crossbody. Hardy then tried to put Angle back into the ring only for Angle to drop toe hold Hardy into the ring steps. Angle led the offense from here as the announcers played that Hardy had fell awkwardly on his ankle. That lead to minutes of Angle simply picking apart at the ankle. But when it came to performing and applying the Ankle Lock, Hardy reversed it over and over. Matt regained control and even got set up for the Twist of Fate but when Hardy went for the Ace Cutter part of the finishing move, Angle rolled Hardy up with a firm grip on the ropes for the win at the seven-minute mark. Angle sneakily crawled out of the ring and celebrated up the rampway before Jeff came from behind, angered by Angle's technique to beating his brother. Jeff and Matt talked with Terri in the ring. [74%] We see Test walking up and down quickly, very anxious with a frown on his face. The announcers put over the fact that he had been in a foul mood ever since last Thursday when Triple H and Degeneration X awkwardly forced Stephanie McMahon to celebrate with them before taking her away from the arena immediately after. Test was heard muttering that he is ready to murder Triple H and anybody who gets in his way. We see WWF Tag Team Champions, the New Age Outlaws walking towards the area as Test holds a pipe in his hand threatening Road Dogg and Billy Gunn into telling him where Triple H was. Jesse James says that they haven't arrived yet. Test nods as Billy jokes to Road Dogg about how much of an idiot Test is.An advert airs for WWF Armageddon, which will be held live from the sold-out National Car Rental Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Sunday 19th December 1999, only available live on pay-per-view!Match #3: Edge and Christian defeated The New Age Outlaws after Edge pinned Billy Gunn in a non-title match I have to say that this is the match of the night so far. This match has definately got to be one of the many highlights of the week in professional wrestling as a whole. It was totally unexpected that a team based in brawling and fighting was to have this amount of chemistry with a team based on technical skill and aerial tactics. Edge and Christian & Road Dogg and Billy Gunn were all extremely over here tonight and I'm very pleased to say that this is definately one of Gunn's better matches. Maybe it was the hype going into it with Road Dogg and Billy Gunn doing a sweet job of their Buffer-style announcing segment. The stipulation of this match was that if Edge and Christian won, then they'd join the Acolytes in a triple threat match at Armageddon with the New Age Outlaws' WWF Tag Team Championships on the line. Edge and Dogg started with Edge getting the first few blows in, hitting some sweet highspots. I'm impressed to bits with this match. Edge tagged in Christian, there we saw some amazingly good tag team moves. Christian became the legal man and had some offense but it was very limited in time as he 'botched' a move, injuring himself but it was on purpose by the looks of it. Gunn and Dogg hyped up their main finisher, the Spike Piledriver with some restholds before getting their Spike Piledriver reversed, Christian hitting a hurricanrana on Gunn and getting the tag. Edge went on a roll taking both Outlaws out, one Downward Spiral on Billy Gunn, it was over at the nine minute mark [92%] We go to see another episode of WWF Slam Of The Week, in which it reviewed the recent championship defense of the WWF European Championship at the expense of British Bulldog taking on Gangrel. Bulldog was victorious, but what happened after the match was pretty weird as Val Venis ran in the ring and pretty much went insane on Bulldog as well as the Mean Street Posse members that all attempted to come out and rescue their fellow Posse associate, Bulldog. We also see Venis' interview on Thursday, but I believe there was a booking change as Val Venis instead challenged Bulldog to bring his Posse to RAW instead of challenging him for the European Championship on RAW.Match #4: Val Venis, Gangrel and The Headbangers defeated Mean Street Posse after Val Venis pinned British Bulldog This match was a fairly decent match featuring eight talent spread across both the mid-card and lower mid-card positions of the roster. It featured many good highspots but mainly went uninterested by the fans as they were too worn out from the previous match between Edge and Christian & New Age Outlaws, which is a deadly bad shame as this match in my opinion is one of the more underestimated matches on the card. Both teams had limited time, which is always a factor with matches of this kind, yet all eight men had at least a minute in the ring. Mosh and Joey Abs started, Mosh tagged in Thrasher, Abs tagged in Pete Gas, Gas tagged in Rodney, Thrasher tagged in Gangrel et cetera. Thrasher was worked on before Gangrel got the tag and went beserk until Gangrel got into the match. Bulldog got the tag and from there it was SmackDown all over again, except this time, hell breaking loose broke it up a bit. Val eventually found himself getting the tag as everybody was going at it. Meanwhile, Val hit the Russian Legsweep and in one Money Shot from the top rope, Bulldog was done at the six minute mark. [64%] We cut to the backstage area once again where Test is still walking rampantly up and down in the parking lot now. He has to of been cold as he was only wearing his leather pants. Test is distracted by a security guard [who was OVW's Dave Batista] in which both of them began a chat on one side of the screen. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon where then seen engaging in a mini argument on the other. Triple H tried to sneak past with Stephanie and as Stephanie went to say something to Test while he had his back turned, Triple H covered Steph's mouth and her call for Test went unheard. They walked inside where Triple H got a slap. Stephanie ran off as Triple H yelled after her. Michael Cole then confronted Triple H asking him for his thoughts on what Vince McMahon's big announcement is tonight. Triple H says that he doesn't care and why should he, being that he has been able to jump through many of McMahon's hoops for a damn long time. Triple H tells Cole to tell Test that he's back at the hotel, not at the arena. [86%] We see an episode of WWF Rewind show up, in which it highlights comments spoken from Chris Jericho and WWF Intercontinental Champion, Chyna from their promo on SmackDown. It ends showing what Chyna did to Jericho, gorilla press slamming him.Match #5: Chris Jericho defeated Kane Chris Jericho cut a promo prior to this match in which he disrespected Chyna even more than he did on Thursday night, asking her and the audience why Chyna should of defended the women of the WWF and the world when she herself is really a man in disguise. Jericho corrects himself, saying that Chyna is really an ape, not a man nor a woman. The announcers put over the fact that that is a bad move when Jericho's opponent for tonight is a seven-foot monster who is the friend of a WWF diva. Tori came out with Kane, an angered look on her face. Before the bell rang, Tori took down Jericho with a Lou Thesz Press-style move but Kane dragged her off, beginning the match by beating into Jericho himself. Kane dominated Jericho throughout this match, though Y2J had momentum. Chris Jericho continuously attempted escaping the arena during this match only for Tori to get in his way but she never made physical contact in risk of getting her man, Kane disqualified. Jericho eventually got cheap momentum as he hung Kane over the top rope by pulling his head down during one of those efforts to stop Y2J from escaping. Jericho climbed into the ring and made himself look very convincing, convincing indeed as he went to work on the head and mask-shielded face of the Big Red Machine. Jericho tried hitting the springboard moonsault twice but the first time, Kane moved and on the second time, Kane grabbed him by the throat upon landing. Kane almost hit the Chokeslam but Jericho connected with a low-blow, a move unspotted by the official. Jericho rolled up Kane with a hand on the ropes and it was over at the ten minute mark. Jericho escaped Tori after the match but came face-to-face with Jericho. Chyna tried punching Jericho but Y2J caught it, tripping her up and applying the Walls of Jericho on the stage! [88%] We see Test once again, but instead of where we thought he'd be, the hotel, he was inside Vince McMahon's office. Test begged Vince for a match with Triple H tonight, denying belief of HHH being at his hotel. Vince confirmed that Triple H was in the building, but he also confirmed that he was booked in the main event. Test asked for a match anyway, Vince saying that he'd probably regret asking for a handicap match with the Holly Cousins. Test says he doesn't care as Vince reluctantly agreed.Match #6: The Holly Cousins defeated Test after Hardcore Holly pinned Test This match was a very fast bout, and there wasn't a lot behind it or anything. There isn't much to note about this match, only that Test had a lot of momentum and offense in this match. This match went from inside the ring to outside the ring. Test controlled both Hollys hitting some amusing moves, but for the main part, he was out there to release some of his bottled up anger and rage. The Holly Cousins weren't too over, so that damaged the overall match rating in my mind. Test was over however, which I think was the target and intention of this angle. Test spent most of this match working over Crash however, simply squashing him and getting ready for the Pumphandle Slam before escaping and tagging in Hardcore Holly. Test and Holly had a decent scrap and Test nailed that deadly Big Boot but that's when Big Bossman ran down the ramp and distracted the official. Test got rid of Bossman but Crash clubbed Test with what appeared to of been a lead pipe. The referee didn't see it however as he was attending to Holly. Holly hit the Falcon Arrow and it was over at the five minute mark. [66%] We cut to the backstage area where Triple H was seen at the Gorilla Position as Big Bossman appeared there. Triple H handed him $1,000 for doing that before saying that he had to run. Literally moments later, Test came on screen as he gave Bossman a big clothesline. An official tried to make Test stop but was shoved away. Test continued to batter Bossman, sending him into vending machines before sending him into the bathroom. Test slammed his head against the urinal before leaving him face-first in it, telling him never to get in his business over money.Vince McMahon's theme played into the arena loudly as the crowd were hot for McMahon. The owner of the World Wrestling Federation didn't go to the ring though, he cut a promo right there on the stage, hyping up his rivalry with Triple H scheduled to hopefully reach a climax at Armageddon on December 19th. McMahon offers something major to Triple H in which it will be Vince McMahon vs. Triple H in a street fight. Vince says that if he wins, then Triple H has to be forced to accept the divorce proposal placed by Stephanie, but if Triple H wins then he gets 50% of the power of the WWF. Vince then moves on to say that what he just said wasn't the announcement. Vince says that since Big Show vs. Big Bossman happened earlier tonight, that they need somebody else for Big Show to face at Armageddon. Vince says that being that Triple H is a very convincing and popular fellow, it will be The Rock taking on Triple H tonight in a hardcore match where the winner will go to face Big Show for the WWF Championship at Armageddon. And that if HHH wins then at Armageddon, he's doing double duty. The announcers reminded us of what happened on WWF Sunday Night HeAT, in which Mark Henry won a six-man tag team match involving Rikishi Phatu and the Hollys taking on Henry & Edge and Christian. Rikishi almost made the save, but just couldn't get there in time, hyping up for tonight's singles match.Match #7: Rikishi Phatu defeated Mark Henry This was quite a bland match, but it was intended to be considering that the main event needs to be the best. This match like I just stated was bad, but it wasn't the most rotten, just the least enjoyable of the show in my opinion. It had the least favoritable backstory and storyline, though it could of been fairly interesting if used correctly. Mark Henry was pretty sloppy tonight, though nobody really cared tonight, he got suprisingly let off easy. Phatu put on a good display, well tried to as he brawled his way on top of offense many different times. Too Cool accompanied Rikishi Phatu sort off, both of them were stood on the stage during this whole encounter. Mark Henry used unlimited amounts of non-lifting moves and attacks, the only big moves he did in there was a haymaker punch that echoed throughout the arena and a body slam that he barely connected successfully with, if he had botched that then it'd be another case of Darren Drozdov, if only he was still an active wrestler. Mark Henry had things all ready for the finishing Big Splash but when going for the pin, Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay ran down to the ring and onto the apron only for Henry to knock them off the apron. Phatu super kicked Henry and hit a standing Banzai Drop and this was over at the six minute mark. Rikishi and Too Cool got a face reaction from the crowd afterwards, doing a dance routine. [68%] We see Triple H standing near the Gorilla Position where Test is still walking up and down, ready to pounce. Triple H swiftly hides behind a wall as Test walks quickly, holding his lead pipe in his hand. Test mutters aloud too, making him seem even more vicious just to get a pop from the crowd. Triple H is seen in the background talking quietly to a stage hand before the stage-hand goes to distract Test. Triple H quickly rushes past and into the black curtain area. The Rock is then seen at the RAW interview set as Michael Cole is standing by with Rock. Rock asks Cole how old he really is, mainly due to the fact that he looks like a teenage dropout from college. Rock goes through his entire routine of entertaining the fans, insulting the interviewer Cole and using everything in his arsenal to make fun of everybody he's associated with. Rock puts over the fact that tonight he is facing the man who is cheaply tapping the boss' daughter in secret so he can get ahead in life. Rock corrects himself saying that he is raping the boss' daughter in hope of getting noticed. Rock puts over being injured as well earlier in the year at the hands of Triple H before moving on to talking about Prince Albert and the Big Bossman attempting to attack the Big Nasty Bastard. Rock says that he did what he did just to help out a fellow destroyer of vile idiots in the back and that he will continue Show's reign as WWF Champion when he beats Show at Armageddon, after winning tonight!Match #7: The Rock def. Triple H in a hardcore match to gain contention to the WWF Championship This was an awesome main event and I'm sure that the fans at tonight's edition of RAW didn't feel one tiny bit of disappointment. These two just slugged it out in an action-packed contest that went everywhere whether it be in the ring, in the pit near the stage or in the crowd. These two just went nuts. Back and forth action also made this match very exciting, the fans were literally on the edge of their seats during this contest very hyped up for this match. This match started on the ramp as Triple H jumped The Rock while Rock was making his way down the ramp to the ring, Triple H planned to grab his favourite weapon in addition, the sledgehammer, but fortunately, Rock blocked it for his active career in the WWF. Rock controlled the match with his brawling in the ringside area, only briefly entering the ring to officially kick off the match with the starting bell sounding. The two then brawled into the crowd but they soon headed back to the ring. Triple H had a cut above the eyebrow, a result from getting nailed with a Pepsi glass in the crowd near the Food & Beverages Stall. Rock hit an impressive Samoan Drop out there too, the two also brawling up some steps. They got back in the ring after a while though and it was back-and-forth between the Pedigree position and the Rock Bottom-position. But Triple H eventually hit the Pedigree but Rock barely kicked out at two. Triple H continued the beatdown on Rock as Test marched on out to the ring. Test nailed Triple H in the back, the gut and then temple with his lead pipe before Rock hit the People's Elbow. One...two...three. It was over at the thirteen minute mark. Rock stood tall as Big Show came out and the two stared each other down as RAW went off the air. [92%] Quick ResultsWWF Champion, The Big Show def. Big Bossman Kurt Angle def. Hmmm, Armageddon is looking pretty great right now DTP. The undercard supports the top two matches right now and that provides for a good card dude. I hope Val takes the belt off of Bulldog, as Val needs a big push now. Not too bothered about the tag triple threat, should be some good action though. Chyna/Jericho is what I'm looking forward too. Jericho better take that belt back from that bitch Chyna, and then everything will be right with the world. Last Man Standing should end this feud well and I see Kane taking this one definitely. I hope The Rock rocks (pun) the Big Show and takes the belt. That should be some good fun also. And the main event should definitely be the most fun of the night. I would love to see Triple H win and control 1/2 the WWF. This diary is sweet dude, keep it up!
yay for '99 buddies!

Armageddon looks good. I hope Rock takes the title soon, but not at the PPV. I think a longer fued between he and Show could be good. The stip with Vince and HHH is good, and I hope Test gets involved.

Sorry about the late reply, I've been pretty busy lately. Anyways, I haven't been following much, so I'll just post my comments about Armaggedon. The Street Fight looks awesome, man. I love the idea of the entire feud, and I'm pretty stoked to see the outcome of the match. Heres to hoping Triple H gets 50%. Hmm, the WWF Heavyweight Championship match looks interesting. It could go either way, but I'm rooting for Big Show in that one. However, if the Rock wins, I wont be mad. The Kane/X Pac last man standing match looks awesome. In reality, I really liked their feud, and I'm sure yours has been great also. I'm rooting for Kane in that one. The WF IC title match looks pretty sweet. I'm wanting Jericho too win, just as long as Chyna loses the belt. The Tag Team triple threat should be one of the decent matches on the card, but it cannot compare to the previous ones. Edge & Christian better win, or I'll chop off my balls. British Bulldog to retain over Venis, tbh. Well, I'm gonna try to read this more after Armaggedon.

I see what you mean with Show-Bossman as a throwaway feud lol. Rock/Show-Albert/Bossman maybe? I like the Angle/Hardyz idea, good way to slowly elevate Kurt. E & C big push please. MSP match sounded like filler. HHH/Steph/Test stuff was pretty interesting, like the hand on mouth idea. You made a typo near the very end of the Jericho/Kane match BTW. I like the Jericho stuff, kind of like Jarrett...Everyone seems to be going afer Test lol. I like the $1,000 stuff and the beatdown after. Ok big man match, they are always interesting. Rock winning is cool, and I like how Test got involved. Rock/Show would be good. Overall good show, I like the Jericho angle and the Test/HHH stuff the best. I felt like too much stuff was in this show though, seemed like WAY more than two hours worth.

SMACKDOWN! COUNTDOWN! DAY TWO: D'LO BROWNTuesday 7th December 1999Height6' 3" Weight268 lbs. HometownChicago, Illinois Finishing MoveThe 'Lo Down "You better recognize!" Lemme' tell 'yall a sad story about one D'Lo Brown, the saddest cat in the whole dang town. Seems a fellow can't catch an even break sometimes: Poor D'Lo's been down on the mat of grief so many times, lookin' up at them ring lights o' pity... He came into wrasslin' all a fire and a flutter as a part of The Nation of Domination. Boy, D'Lo had some heat behind him, particularly as the goofy jobber who became the butt of Mr. Ass's jokes. But then his good buddy Owen Hart went on to that big Championship Main Event in the Sky, and poor D'Lo was all by his lonesome. Then he got a buddy, a big ol' fellow named Mark Henry. They tore through the federation like a couple of balled up rattlers in a ten-gallon hat. Yep, they were a couple of ruffians, but it seemed the WWF saw fit for D'Lo to kick the heel role and become a fan fave -- around the same time that Ol' Henry became the trollop magnet Sexual Chocolate. What with all the dames hanging off Sexy Choco's shoulders, nobody gave a flying frijole about goodie two-shoes D'Lo. Well D'Lo gave it a run, and some folks came round to his charms and his skills. He ain't the flashiest, nor is he the high-flying-ist, but he sure can crack wise with the best of them, and he cracks heads just as well as he does crack jokes. But poor, poor, D'Lo Brown ¿ just when he was coming back, there was that unfortunate piledriver mishap with the wrastler Droz (where Droz was paralyzed in accidental contact). Well, that most about put D'Lo out of everybody's favors. And now where's he got to go. He can't go no lower, and he'd be a darn fool to try going up seeing as how he'll just come a'plummeting down anyhow.

The opening match was very RAW like, but I'm not a fan of the Show/ Bossman feud, and I really hope you end it quickly. Good to see Angle's push continuing with another win, and E&C getting the win was great, and I really hope to see them get a tag title shot. The Jericho/ Kane match sounded good, and the Jericho storyline is going okay. I'm really enjoying the Triple H/ Test feud, and hopefully it leads to a big stipulation match between the two, while Triple H potentially 'getting' 50% of the WWF could make a good storyline. Great to see the Rock getting the title match, and hopefully he gets the win.

IGN SMACKDOWN! COUNTDOWN! DAY THREE: MATT HARDYWednesday 8th December 1999 Height6' 1" Weight234 lbs. HometownCameron, NC. Finishing MoveNorthern Lights Suplex Hardy Boyz -- Arial Artists Not since The Rockers has there been a younger, faster, soaring tag team duo of champions. Of course, that's probably why nobody cares about tag teams anymore, but that's besides the point. And the point is that Matt Hardy (and his real-life brother Jeff Hardy) are superstars in the making, just waiting for a brotherly feud to rip them apart and carry them into the spotlight. If you've seen any of the brutal, and I mean brutal, matches with Edge and Christian, you know that this boy is on his way to becoming a legend.

WRESTLE-NET: THE HOME OF WRESTLING NEWS AND ONLINE SOURCES!Wednesday 8th December 1999- The ratings in the WWF this week seem pretty strong as last weekend's edition of WWF Sunday Night HeAT seemed to be pretty well received by the fans, though they were pretty criticizing of the show. The fans weren't as critical about HeAT in comparison to SmackDown, which is very weird as HeAT was taped about an hour before SmackDown. It got a 4.1 rating from USA Network, which is 1.0 up from last week's show. Big improvement in the ratings. - Monday night's edition of RAW is WAR is currently the greatest show of the week as it was favored as being better than SmackDown according to an internet survey on our website. The reaction was that RAW saw some good matches and they managed to squeeze three good encounters into an eight-match card. The fans seemed to of enjoyed it. RAW got a 6.0 rating from USA Network, which is down 0.5 from last week, but they're still destroying Monday Nitro in the ratings as Nitro received a hostile 3.0 rating from TNT. - The World Wrestling Federation are currently happy with the storyline they've got going on between Val Venis and British Bulldog over the WWF European Championship. It could be that Val moves up the card to an Intercontinental Championship reign during the summer of 2000. WWF are also pretty happy of the Mean Street Posse, which kills of any peoples' hopes of getting them released when WWF clears out the roster. It is possible that many of the men released are developmental stars that haven't improved too well. These include Dave Batista [who did indeed make a cameo on RAW]. However, rumors have appeared in my inbox from wrestling sites speaking of WWF hinting at releasing stars like The Headbangers, Mark Henry [which I heavily doubt] and Mideon. I could see Mideon and Mosh & Thrasher getting the pink slip, but that's all. - WWF have acquired Torrie Wilson's contract. Her contract with WCW will be expiring within the next ninety days and WWF have signed her to a contract secretly. Vince has expressed feelings about Wilson having a good look and could possibly help improve her charisma in the WWF. She will probably go to OVW for a while to either train to become a WWF diva in the Womens Championship division or become a manager. - There seems to be some sort of mini-roster seperating going on at the moment. For example, the Mankind/Rock/Al Snow feud wasn't continued on RAW. This could be the first step of a draft, in which superstars will be placed on seperate shows, though this idea has been frowned upon by Vince in the past, so it will probably not happen. It is also interesting to note that Mankind and Al Snow were not in attendance on Monday night. - It is expected, as hinted in Wrestle-Net's second newsletter that Miss Kitty [Chyna's assistant] will turn heel on Chyna just to add more hype to the battle of the sexes match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship at Armageddon. Jericho will most likely win with assistance from Miss Kitty at one point during the match. Miss Kitty will probably remain as Jericho's valet soon afterwards. - It is only expected that Test challenge Big Bossman for the WWF Hardcore Championship at Armageddon. It is also expected that one of the Hardy Boyz face Kurt Angle or have a tag team match like on SmackDown with Angle teaming with Steve Blackman again. It is also expected that a Pudding Pool match take place for the WWF Womens Championship with Ivory, Tori, Jacqueline and Terri Runnels. It will most likely be based on eye candy [yes for a change]. Those three matches will be the last additions to Armageddon, which is now eleven days away.

A lot of your little little details are what's making this. As far as the writing comparison, I think this was a stage where I was sick of what the WWF was doing, or I've subsequently blocked most of it out of my mind. The idea that you've moved Bossman out of the World Title feud, hopefully killing that thing for good. While the feud made some good WrestleCrap, I didn't, and still don't, like the idea of completely emasculating your champion like they did. I'm enjoying this, kind of in spite of the fact that I wouldn't ever pay or even download the PPV as it's shaping up. ;D
