If TNA goes to war with RAW then they will be out of business within a year. It's way too soon for another Monday Night War. TNA needs to get their craptogether first.

Now fair enough the exact same thing was said about WCW when it launched Nitro against RAW, however i believe it would be fair to say that WCW was a much more established brand.
TNA has tried so many things and had no positive impact on the ratings, i can see the idea behind starting another MNW but I just can't see that TNA has the strength to match the WWE in any way. Especially as at the moment the group looks so weak by trying to be WWElite rather than focus on it's obvious strength which is more modern progressive wrestling style. Maybe if they were offering something different they might attract the older audience who are sick of the recent WWE shows, just like WCW did. But if they carry on trying to be entertainment I just can't see it.

Its nice of you to leave out the part where SpikeTV said they are NOT intrested in moving iMPACT to Monday. That would make Jarrett's idea even more moronic. The Westminster Dog Show would rate better than rehashed footage from TNA's best PPV's on a Monday Night.

"Sharkboy ripping off Stone Cold Steve Austin...yea, that'll put butts in the seats!" The odd part is, that it being said sarcastically will more or less get people to laugh rather than tune in to TNA. I'd rather watch Kelly Kelly than Shark Boy, at least with her I know it's over quick. Hell I'd rather listen to Great Khali and Michelle McCool on commentary for an entire WrestleMania than sit through a current Shark Boy match/segment. I hate that gimmick that much. Just because mimicking Macho Man worked for Lethal doesn't mean it can work with a different wrestler combination, TNA is intellectually- disabled. Also, yeah, JJ is nuts, but it could work. If forced TNA could put on a great show that can make WWE look stupid. If they went against Raw and realized they bit more than they can chew, it could happen.

"Sharkboy ripping off Stone Cold Steve Austin...yea, that'll put butts in the seats!" LMAO... Interview with Kurt Angle in 2024: "And at that precise moment, the Nielson ratings showed approximately 2 or 3 billion people switched from RAW to Impact..."

I'm for it. Just for the fact that BOTH the WWE and TNA would have to improve their shows. Because then we would have the option to say "I wonder what is on ___" and switch over to see. WWE never saw TNA a threat so it doesnt change WWE but TNA would try really hard to fight but again it better have something HUGE to show for it instead of old attitude era stuff into jokes. aka Shark boy 24/7
