Judas Mesias may be on his way out of TNA. The word going around backstage at Tuesday's Impact tapings was that Mesias has worked his last match with the company for a while. Both sides are open to working together in the future, but several people backstage are under the impression that they don't have any future plans for him.
After joining TNA last fall, Mesias is still working without a contract. Mesias is one of a few talents working under a pay-per-appearance deal with TNA. The reason for this is that some non-contracted wrestlers enjoy the freedom of working non-TNA shows, and they wouldn't be able to work certain shows if they signed with TNA. In Mesias' case, he's affiliated with the AAA promotion in Mexico, which is a major promotion there. If he signed a contract with TNA, he probably wouldn't be allowed to work there anymore.
Mesias makes approximately $300 more per match in TNA than in AAA, so that figures to around $500 per shot. However he can wrestle up to five nights a week in Mexico, and earn nearly $100,000 per year there, which is presumably more than TNA is willing to pay him.
Did TNA actually do anything with him at all? I haven't watched in a while so I can't say for sure, but I saw his little thing with Abyss, and his random attack on Sting that went nowhere. Then he got hurt. Has TNA really done anything interesting enough to justify bringing him in from Mexico?

Which actually proves that James Mitchell's spawn are above evolution. Quite the waste of talent. I always thought he was more talented than Abyss but he was just fed to put Abyss "over". Which by using actual logic, didn't get him over and Mesias wasn't an established person to put someone over.

I love the sig, WAMWAR. I just saw Ghost World last night for the first time in years. I'm going to start working on a backyard theater as soon as I'm done with my high def DIY projector (it's coming along slowly but surely) and I'm thinking of showing Ghost World as one of my first showings.

He's one of the few guys in TNA I can tolerate. I'm hoping he stays.

Is anyone else not shocked, like me? They brought him in to do the whole Undertaker/Kane-esque fued, which is now over. Theres not really much else you can put him in that'll draw much attention.

Judas Mesias is a decent wrestler and I would like to see him and Abyss in a feud much like the Undertaker and Kan feud you pointed out.

Mesias is nobody to cry over. He's just another one-dimensional character trying to act scary with props and special effects along with Reign and Rellik. As soon as they start wrestling, any shred of intrigue is replaced with boredom. Good riddance.

I could care less. TNA has enough 'dark' character that they do absolutely nothing with.

My bad, I haven't been following TNA anywhere other than the spoiler room, so I haven't been paying very close attention.

reading past all the bs. I think this is probably the best moves for both sides. Honestly, his purpose for the angle with Abyss seems to be dont and now people wont be harping over a kane/taker type of storyline. also seems Mesias can still be brounght in down the road. smart move by TNA

I'm a big fan of Judas Mesias, i thought he played the character well and had some talent, i had a feeling after Against All Odd's that he'd be off, there's nowhere for his character to go.
Still a shame though, hope he comes back in the future.

Good, a midget monster with generic tights isn't believable anyway...
