I would like him to go to the wwe but it will never happen imo.
He loves his job at tna right?
Sure he would be paid more but tna does offer a lighter schedule and his kids are young.
If he is still wrestling the next time his contract expires in tna, when his kids will hopefully be older, maybe he should try to get with the wwe because I don't know how any wrestler could not want to wrestle at Wrestlemania.
That should be on most wrestlers list of goals to complete before they retire.

He needs to take this oppertunity. He's got nothing left to prove in TNA, this is the biggest chance of his lifetime. Surely he must have some desire to perform at Wrestlemania one day in his life.

That is what I said. Every wrestler has got to visualize themself and want to be at WM or they probally should not be wrestling!

It's not like you earn the chance to be on it - it's not like The World Series where you work your tail off to get there. It come down to weather they've got someting planned for it.

You've still got to be the very best you can be in their eyes to even be considered getting put on the main card for Wrestlemania... if you don't impress then they aren't going to consider you... you still have to try your damndest to make some heads turn and AJ could easily do that.... they won't plan anything for you less you make a note of looking damn good... With that said, I wonder what stupid name they would give him. You mean like how they gave the likes of CM Punk and Paul London a stupid name? Yeah I can totally see your point

That's why... because no matter HOW fixed wrestling is... you still have to prove yourself to earn a spot on Wrestlemania's card...

If he's got half a brain in his head he'd go where there is more money... Wrestling's a business and it's really just a paying job... he'd be stupid not to go in my opinion... And that's exactly why wrestling's crap now...because that's how people look at it. The only drive people have nowadays in money. But to stay on topic...I don't think he'll take it. The cons outweigh the pros at this time.

I can't help but laugh at the people saying that AJ would be buried, haha. AJ wouldn't be buried, thats a guarantee. Styles in an international star and WWE knows that. I wouldn't even be suprised if he was being offered a contract to go right to RAW/SmackDown!/ECW and start right away.
Just because Braden Walker, Marcus Cor Von and Frankie Kazarian weren't pushed doesn't mean anything. Kazarian's is still confusing to me. He claims it was because the WWE wanted him to cut hair for the character, but he didn't want to. Correct? Yet, we see the return of him and Bentley together and he has short hair. Cor Von fits in with the WWE style, but in no way should he have been a main eventer and he wasn't. Cor Von doesn't shine enough to be given a shot. Braden Walker is also a bit confusing. If he worked as hard as he did in TNA, he could've been something. But to come to the WWE in your first televised match, in the worst shape of your life... really? The second we saw him, we knew he'd be gone just as quickly.
Styles on the other hand is a big name that the WWE could market big time, but TNA won't let him go. They will treat Styles better than anyone else in the locker room, just so they don't lose him to McMahon.

So what? Heres a few prime examples of guys the "WWE didn't make": Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Big Show and Evan Bourne.
It's just a matter of them having that "it factor". They can work a crowd, sell merchandise and perform in the ring. I always forget that Jericho was made in WCW, but watching his debut promo with The Rock and hearing the pop that he gets when the titan tron first shows his name... "JERICHO". That place explodes, because he was a name they enjoyed seeing in WCW. Same goes for Rey Mysterio. Remember how excited people were when that first "Mysterio" promo aired on SmackDown!? Then his debut match, followed by him jumping off the cage in his first night? Got the crowd going and immediately became someone the WWE fans loved.
The others are "who cares" people, beside Punk and Bourne. Punk was on of those independant guys that fans were PRAYING he'd sign with the WWE and make it big. Then the news broke that he signed a developmental deal with the WWE and soon became the face of OVW. Once he made his ECW debut, you could tell by the reaction that he got, that he'd be a star in the WWE sometime soon. Not so much can be said about Bourne though. He debuted and nobody really cared, until they saw that Shooting Star Press. However, now he's one of the bigger stars on ECW and was being pushed. With him being seen on RAW Monday night, theres NO DOUBT in my mind that Bourne will continue his push when he returns.
Same can be said for Styles, if he were to sign with the WWE... majority of the WWE fans will at least KNOW AJ Styles and have seen some of his matches. He'll mesh well with the style and I would put my money on the fact that the WWE would push and market him just as much as Punk.

I agree that you have to prove yourself to be on WM.. Even if it is fake in a sense you have to do well to get on the show or be a ho like Ashley.. That match should have been Mickie's but no Ashley ruined it and embarrassed herself to the point where she cried.

A wrestler can't buy a house with a five star match... he needs money to support himself and his family...

You guys must not realize that WWE offered HIM a contract. Meaning that WWE sought him out. They already have an interest in him, and may have an idea of what they want to do with him.
We don't know any thing about the contract beyond that its been offered. For all anyone knows, they may bring him in and make him champ first night. So as it stands right now, no one can say "this will happen" or "this is a big mistake" because YOU DON'T KNOW.

Like the above poster said.. WWE offered him a contract.. So that kinda means he wont come in with a name like "Chris Wallington" with black trunks.. But on the other hand.. AJ is like the Hulk Hogan of TNA..
