In addition to adding Mistico from CMLL to the upcoming January 4th Tokyo Dome show put on by New Japan Pro-Wrestling, President Naoki Sugabayashi has announced some TNA acquisitions to the show.
The following TNA talent will be present for the event:
- "Main Event Mafia" of Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash - "Team 3D" Brother Ray & D-Von - "Motor City Machine Guns" Chris Sabin & Alex Shelly
The Motor City Machine Guns are one of the top junior tag teams in America, so its only natural they are being linked to an IWGP Jr. Tag Team Title shot. Sugabayashi hinted that it is almost a lock that they will challenge the winners of NO LIMIT vs. Jado & Gedo, set to take place on 12/7 in Osaka.

I know most of you don't follow anything in Japan, but this is TNA news and I thought I'd post this.

I'd like to see how Nash handles himself against japanese opponents. It may be the end of his career

Last year's January 4th Tokyo Dome event was really good, but this should be even better. First of all, Mistico being on the card is awesome. I can't wait to hear who his opponent is, and second, the Motor City Machine Guns on the card is also awesome. Would love to see them take on Jado and Gedo. Even though it got TNA some publicity, I'm glad this isn't a full blown TNA/NJPW supershow like last year's. Still awesome, though.

Of course Team 3D would be there.
Japan loves the big, beefy gaijins.

I hope for everyone's sake that Angle and Nash work a tag match.

Jesus are you serious? They're bringing over Nash but not AJ who's been apart of all the shows NJPW had with TNA talent. But on the positive side more MCMG in japan.

Why not Tanahashi? I predicted all of those would visit NJPW except Nash. [Give Nash Akebono (if he's still there, he was last time I checked)]

Akebono was never in NJPW. He wrestled there one time. And Tanahashi is already in the main event for the IWGP Heavyweight title.

Too bad this can't be Global Impact II.

Too bad this can't be Global Impact II. It probably will be, Global Impact was the 1/4 show. But with Mistico and the Guns this show is going to be awesome. So far it's beating this years show. I really thought the Guns should've been there this year. I would love to see them take on Minoru and Devitt sometime.

Why would it be a Global Impact show when only 6 TNA guys are working it?

Why would it be a Global Impact show when only 6 TNA guys are working it? Well it would be better than normal Impact. I don't see Eric Young, Afro Thunder, ODB, Cute Kip, etc. Plus they can make Global Impact a half hour if needed or include more backstage stuff. There were 8 on the last one, you never know if NJPW wants to have another 6 or 8 man tag against TNA. They can always send Petey Williams, AJ Styles, and someone else.

Why would it be a Global Impact show when only 6 TNA guys are working it? The first had a lot more talent, I agree but at the same time it would be better than the England Global Impact they are planning or has that been scrapped?
