Now the only question is....

Hogan means more to the business so he should win hands down. Since the majority of this board grew up with Austin as their version of Hogan, then if put to a vote, the majority would say Austin.

Mark my words. Hogan and Austin will be surprise entrants into the Royal Rumble and it will come down to them facing off and eliminating each other together, thus building to the match at Mania 25. Guaranteed! I'd love to put some money on this one.... as long as nobody's wagering their penis's anymore....

With Flair retireing last year, I think this match will happen at Wrestlemania 25 and it WILL be Hogans last match. Austin won't retire for like 5 years, maybe more. (think of how long hogan, flair, sting, etc have stayed, Austin and Rock will NOT retire now). But Austin will return in the next wrestlemania 26-30something to face Orton, Cena, Edge, and all the new legends before they face Triple H when Triple H retires. But Hogan I think WILL retire like Flair and they'll do it at back to back wrestlemanias. I do expect this match for wm 25, and ever since WM 21's hall of fame, I've expected this match to happen at some point. Austin will not retire. He can still return at the next 5 to 8 or even more wrestlemanias to face current stars. But Sting, Nash, Stiener, Jarrett and Hogan NEED to retire. I think Taker and HBK should go up till wrestlemania 30 or so. and HBK should go down as the greatest ever. I think austin and rock and triple h can go till wrestlemania 35 or so. austin should just only return for big time matches, same with Rock. But hogan needs to retire. and this is a PERFECT final match. sting, jarrett, stiener and nash need to retire with this main event mafia then hang up the boots and come over to WWE to film 3-disc DVDs on their awesome careers. taker and hbk are younger legends . hbk should retire in the next 3 or more years with taker going up to about wrestlemania 30. austin and rock have ATLEAST 5 years or more AFTER that.

I think Hogan should lose his final match like Flair did to HBK. It's a more honorable and legendary way for Hogan to go out. Then on the internet they can hype Hogan as greatest of all time like they've been doing with Flair this year. When HBK retires in 3 or 4 years I'm sure they'll hype HBK as greatest of all time. But bottom line is their are 3 or 4 wrestlers that can go in that category. It's better for Hogan's legacy, and for the match itself, and it should be, hogan's last match. Austin should return once every other year or so to face a current legend (jbl, hardy, an ecw legend, edge, orton, cena, batista, even hbk if its his last match 3 or 4 years from now, even undertaker for his undefeated streak, etc..) .. rock should do the same.. and rock/austin have 10 more years if they only return that way..... its more legendary for wrestlemania and for the bussiness... sting, hogan, stiener, jarrett and nash NEED to retire with this mafia thing and then they can filmd 3 disc dvds in wwe, and hogan with this match with austin, theyre ruiening wrestling with the old guys never ever ever ever retire and it just ruiens legacys and makes wrestling that much worse, its worse for their career and legacy, and worse for wrestling as a whole... they can still make money off DVDs for decades to come, they have 10 of thousands of matches!! and unbelievable careers ...

Holy cow man! You say the same thing over and over again. That should be a 3 line post and you turned it into a 16 line post restating the same points over and over and over again. Worst yet? You posted it twice!

I would rather not see this happen, they are both past their prime and I as a long time fan of Hogan ide hate to see him get a stunner.
