I'm not a fan of Rhino but his promo cutting ability is his only real strength. In fact he is actually pretty good on the stick in my opinion. His in ring work is suspect though. Pretty much just an average worker. Not nearly as bad as Always Believe!! is playing him out to be. If Rhino can ruin the all of TNA for you. All I can say is you already don't like TNA enough to be watching it. Yet your name is warmachine! ok. I think Rhino is quality. He has a decent size, he has decent speed, he is a great powerful wrestler. He has jobbed to shlt and then is randomly pushed, this is why i think people don't get him. If you watch any of his matches in the original ECW, i dont know how you could call him crap. WWE crapped on his monster gimmick for the months he was there, TNA turned him in to an alcoholic (gimmick wise), and above everything else, he blatantly should be a heel. He is a FAR better talent than Nash in terms of promos and ability. Thats coming from a Nash fan. Of course he was part of the original ECW Jackson. He was in ECW before WWE bought them out, thus making him an original.... not difficult. Can't believe out of all the utter bollox in TNA or WWE, someone manages to pick Rhino as a weak link. Unreal Yep and that has been my handle long before Rhino started calling himself the Warmachine partner. I just wish I would have copyrighted it. |

I can't say Rhino ruins TNA, but he's definitely someone that makes me change the channel. I don't like or hate him...just don't care.

Rhino is great for a guy his size.
I think he plays a much better face as he gets a much louder reaction.

I think the main problem is that in ECW, he was created as somewhat of a believable monster... wwe didnt use this and TNA had Abyss. How can people see him as a great heel monster that looks somewhat normal, when Abyss is about?
Im not saying he should, or needs to be main event, but he should be upper mid or in an awesome monster heel tag team with the minister as manager or someone of similar ilk

I've never understood the Rhino hype. He was only at the top in ECW when they were going down and had already lost a number of their top talents. I guess it's the deal where the internet would ridiculously praise anybody from ECW no matter what, much like they do today with anybody from ROH. To me his character fits the stereotypical image non-fans have of wrestlers. His character comes off like he's an unintelligible oaf.

I suppose he's just a 'some like him, some dont', and thats where it should end. I find it hard to believe that anyone can seriously blame any of tna's problems on one guy, one guy who doesn't even get that much tv time. The only people that can really be blamed are the ones making any real decisions. TNA have a huge amount of good talent, that can only really be disputed by trolls or non wrestling fans. The best talent might not be being used properly, granted. Its nothing to do with internet fans bumming ecw talent, ive never said he was 'da bestest'. At the same time its completely stupid to bash on a guy who has a decent look and and can move well for a powerful brawler. He's got over a decade of PPV experience, he's all around not bad at all and it is unfounded nonsense to blame him for ruining any fed. |

I totally agree with what you have to say on this matter as well. Rhino is not a detriment to TNA. I would rather have a hundred Rhinos over one Lance Hoyt/Rock or Sharkboy. He is a "hard" worker and and rarely puts on a horrible match. Like I stated previously he is really good on the mic too. That being said I still don't like Rhino all that much. He just doesn't get it done for me. I can deal with him though. Plus he does have one of my favorite lines ever. "Gore the Whore" is priceless. |

Rhino is horrible. At least in WWE he was somewhat in shape. In ECW he was fat but he took some sick bumps. But in TNA he just looks sloppy and when he threw the ECW title in the trashcan and burned it that is when I lost all respect for him. Granted, TNA probably pushed him to do it but it was still ridiculous.

Rhino completely destroys TNA for me. Rhino is the left over crap of the original ECW and acts like he was something special over there. He only won the ECW title because there were no one left!! His promos are awful, and all he does is bash the WWE. Jesus Christ get over it already! If they release him I would watch TNA. He could resign with the WWE because if he does you won't see him on tv. Amen, Brother. rid TNA of the Rhinocerus! |
