I have to admit that I have been skipping wathcing RAW for a bit now. Especially since the return of Cena was announced. With that said, I do not know if they have addressed this on television or not. But isn't it a bit weird to have Dustin Rhodes doing the Goldust character while Cody Rhodes is using his name to benefit him in an angle. Just think that there is something there that WWE could do with Dustin Rhodes, especially with the lack of a response that it seems that he is getting with a worn out character in Goldust. Like to hear your thoughts on this.

He NEVER got over as Dustin Rhodes in the WWF or WCW...Goldust is the only character that will generate any kid of response from fans.

I disagree. When he first came into WCW he had a bit of a run and seemed to have the crowd behind him. And, this is just my opinion, but I think that he would be more compelling to watch this run in WWE if they played him in an angle with Cody and the whole 2nd generation superstar angle.

It might be compelling if it was 1994, but he's out of shape and past his prime at this point. Don't get me wrong, I love Goldust, I do, but I'd rather see him as a comedy character than a wrestler. It would be interesting to see them cross paths, and I'd surely be intrigued by a feud between the two, but compelling to watch isn't a term I'd use.

Does anyone think they will ever mention that they are brothers during Raw?

Dustin Rhodes has never gotten over with anything other than Goldust he has tried multiple times. That's why he tried out Black Reign, similar to Goldust just not as good

He was very over his first run in WCW.
I know I was a huge fan, as were many people I know. he wasn't main event over... But he still did well.
And technically, he didn't wrestle in WWE as Dustin Rhodes, except that one time when he teamed with Dusty.

Randy, Cody, Ted & Manu will electrocute him.
That's how I see their interaction going.

Incorrect .... the reality is ....Goldust is the only character persona that has ever worked for Dustin Rhodes...it worked in the attitude era because that character fit the times.... I think now when people pop its for nostalgia , Goldust hasn't had a serious WWE program since the early 90's

Typical WCW, they spent loads of promoting seven in video packages and then they did that with his character!
