The general belief within TNA is that Christian Cage is returning back to World Wrestling Entertainment, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. TNA had a meeting with Cage to try to convince him to stay, but he wouldn't commit. TNA also had some of the boys attempt to talk him out leaving. TNA wants him to stay and be a top talker on the babyface side of the feud with the Main Event Mafia. However, Cage has yet to sign a WWE contract.

It'd be a tough loss for TNA at this point in time, to be honest. Especially when their TNA Originals look like a lot of jabronis.

Cage has nothing else to do in TNA, however, he has a huge amount to do in the WWE, and now, 3years straight as a Main Eventer, WWE could use him that way

When Christian shows up on my TV during RAW/Smackdown/ECW - then he's with them. But, this whole "He could.. but couldn't.. the belif is.." cat and mouse game proves nothing to me tbh.

Christian has the opportunity to walk back into WWE with a far increased profile from when he left. Plus the fact that Tomko has just joined & the obvious partnership/feud with Edge.
I like Christian in TNA but I can see the WWE offer would probarbly be better for him, greater exposure & no doubt more money. I'd imagine there has been no decision trying to increase the offers.

wow, and thats what everyone really want to see christian/tomko 3. Seriously who is he gonna feud with...edge? seen it and HHH is there, jericho? Ummm move aside cena, batista. orton. Matt hardy? Oh yes, that'd be an improvement to fight for the ECW title. the christain /edge feud has about a 6month life span on it before it gets stale. Cage's best option to go out on top and not be lost in the shuffle ala jericho or cmpunk is to stay in TNA

However, he cant even make half the money he would if he went to the E. It will come down to what is more important to Christian right now.....financial security or light schedule and more success.

I really hope Christian jumps back to WWE, I miss seeing him in front of THOUSANDS of fans, and hearing Waterproof Blonde blaring during his entrance.
He might be 'better off in TNA,' because he has a 'guaranteed' spot, but if he got a push in the WWE and won a world title, it'd pay dividends more there, than it would in TNA. - Let's face it, WWE is THE wrestling brand known the world over, and he has never been the WWE champion... we could either have him tread water in TNA, and always have that 'spot', or he could move forward with his career and possibly achieve something monumental.
I'd much rather have a chance of him progressing, than remain in limbo in TNA.

I would like him to stay, but at the same time TNA kind of dropped him off the map until a few months ago so it won't be that big of a loss.

In all honesty it's a coin toss in either company. But I know for one thing that the whole Tomko/Christian pairing has run it's course.

It is certainly in his best interest to go back to WWE. More money, gets to end his career (more than likely) in the WWE, and will more than likely get treated far better than he did before going to TNA. I also think having been off the WWE road schedule for 3 years, he'd be willing to do it once more.

I heard Christian does a good job saving money, so I don't think it can be a factor for him to move or stay. I'm not sure if I want him back in the WWE. I mean, it would be cool, but I just don't want him in the mid-card again.

Christian is NOT Jeff Hardy, and Hardy has himself to blame for screwing up so many times, which is the reason he hasn't been champion... yet. He's still flirting with it, and still being pushed toward it.

Either way, CC gains something. He has a possible World Title run waiting in WWE, and a guaranteed main event spot in TNA. I feel he has done everything in TNA, but the possibility of midcard status in WWE is enough for him to stay. Either way I'm happy.
