- There have been rumors of undercard cuts in TNA. Several people in the company in the last month or two have been talking about next Spring when a number of TNA deals are up. A lot of guys are talking about wanting to get out of the company but the leverage TNA has on them is that for some, there is nowhere for them to go. Several wrestlers have contacted Konnan with the AAA promotion in Mexico but AAA already has a group of foreigners and there isn’t room for too many more. Unless it’s a big name and they were willing to work relatively cheap, AAA would want the talents to be based in Mexico City and a lot of people aren’t interested in that commitment. Japan is a dead end as far as earning a full-time living goes for most guys. A lot of guys are expected to see if there will be a job waiting for them with WWE.
- Before coming up with the “Front Line” name for TNA’s new group, there was talk of doing a name based on “X” for Xtreme. At one point, the idea was to use the name Team Xtacy until someone realized that wouldn’t be the best name to go with.
- Masahiro Chono has said in New Japan Wrestling that he wants to team with Kevin Nash at the upcoming Tokyo Dome show and be a member of the Main Event Mafia. Chono wrestled for WCW and was a top member of NWO Japan during the NWO’s days in WCW.

Nothing major, but thought it was worth a post.

Also, I wonder why none of the TNA's great young talent can't work in Japan. Back in the late 80s through the 90s, Japan was a great place to learn for an american wrestler.

A lot of them have worked in Japan many times. Only being affiliated with the Japanese company and not with TNA? Thats my main question. Thanks for the help.

Lance Rock, Cute Kip, and Rhaka Khan should be released...
I like the idea of foreign talent in the MEM... they'd never go with it but they should put Tanahashi in the MEM on TNA programming... it would make the group appear more worldly while establishing the only serious Japanese guy in American mainstream wrestling.

Chono and Nash teaming just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

It would be awesome to see International Stars join the Main Event Mafia, play it out as that Respect doesn't just apply to one company in a way.
