But you have to look at the whole picture not just yourself. Just because you are not hurting does not mean that others are not. **sigh** All that matters is me. everyone else. That's what I say. Amen.

Not just the poor, the middle class as well. The middle class either become the new rich or the new poor. There are always some poor who rise up and become the new middle class or the new rich. It's all behaviour based more than anything.

The rich get richer the poor get children.....Honestly whoever posted it does have a point. There is quite a few jobs out there but people wont work them because they feel they need to be paid $10-$15 an hour for an office job and that fast food is for "teenagers" Americans are lazy s now days. I can go out in my small little town and apply for 15-20 jobs tomorrow (if I needed one) but there are a TON of people who just laze around and do nothing but bitch. That is one reason with I feel people should strive to better themselves, either with education or working their asses off at their jobs. Nothing is going to be handed to you in the real world and a lot of kids now days just assume that mommy and daddy is gonna be there to get them their $75k job when they graduate High school/college....Its not that easy

More money than anything. Money is how we define the difference, but people get to middle class, leave it or stay there based on their behavior.

More money than anything. Money is how we define the difference, but people get to middle class, leave it or stay there based on their behavior. If you are poor and act rich, you are still poor.

Yes, but eventually you become rich. Rich people get there by doing smart stuff with their money, investing wisely and saving. If you're poor and you do that stuff you end up with money sooner or later.

I can pretend and put on a rich facade and it does not mean I will be rich. Can't invest or save when you don't have the money to do so.

You can't fix you unless you have the money to do so. You can, you just have to sacrifice and take good opportunities as they come along. Take true rags to riches stories like the Jackson 5, Bill Clinton, Abraham Lincoln, Bill Gates, Jay-Z, Barak Obama. You just have to work at it, and be smart about what you do with the little money you do have. Although a recession is really bad for anyone who is trying to invest to gain money.

I know you can fix you when you're broke because I fixed me when I was broke. One of the reasons I was broke was because some serious flaws in my character that I had to address.
