They also offered Rey Mysterio a 5 year contract.

Meh, it could not last that long if Orton were to accept. I mean, Orton's on his last warning in WWE ain't he? Yea, but I have a feeling if he accepts the 10 year contract, even if he does get the third strike they might just let him off with another suspension. But really, who knows? Either way, Orton is tied as my favorite wrestler with Jericho.

I honestly don't see Orton accepting this offer. In a few years, I could probably see him signing with TNA.

Things have got that bad?.. He is a good young talent who gets crowd reaction and the audience respects as a main event player. Not to mention he has a good look and is a decent wrestler. No reason for WWE not to offer him that and lock him up...

If Orton can keep his ass straight then this is great news for him. He has the potential to carry the company, its just a matter of keeping out of trouble and watching his attitude.
Besides, this doesn't really MEAN anything anyway. Vince won't hesitate to back out of a contract if he decides to. (See: Bret Hart's 20 year deal.)

TNA wouldn't deserve Orton if he ever left IMO. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything. That's just how I feel and I refuse to explain myself. If you don't want to explain yourself, then don't post extreme statements. Obama is a terrorist who's gonna take over the country and kill us all. That's an extreme statement. I just didn't feel like being attacked today but appearently that ship has sailed. I just mean I really don't think that TNA deserves a guy like Orton. Their booking and management of talent since over the past 3-4 years makes me feel this way. If he went, he'd be immediately thrust into the main event title picture (rightfully so), given the title and dropped to mid card so fast his head wiould spin. That's just what I see happening if he went. It's obvious that they'd rather put big names over talent. It seems that they're just now figureing out how to mix both.

No way would I accept it. 5 years max. In ten years Orton will probably be out of the 'E from using up all his warnings arnyway.

It's not really, though is it? I mean, all it takes is one serious injury, and it can easily happen in wrestling, and thats your career over. If WWE can't use you in the ring, a person like orton can only be a GM or a manager for a few months before people get bored. Then you have a few years of being under contract ot a company you can't work for. Most likely making a pre-arranged annual wage that would most likely not be much per week (especially if you live an expensive lifestyle. Yes it is. If he signs that 10 year contract, he gets guaranteed money for that amount of time. I hate people who think they're absolutely 100% right, when they have no clue what they're talking about. You wrote that post as though it was actually you who wrote up the WWE contract. No such thing as "guaranteed money" in WWE, im afraid. If you can't provide them with a service (ie; wrestling) then you're out on your ass. Im sure he'd still earn a net wage annually, but it would not be enough to live comfortably in his lifestyle.

How many warnings has Orton got left?
You never know, TNA could become very serious competition within the next 10 years, meaning Orton may Jump ship

He should accept the offer because he is becoming a legend. I love Randy Orton and cant get enough of him.
