I don't think it was meant as a "shot" it was just cheaper and easier to do then going out and getting a real one made for a few months.

I don't think it can really be considered a diss since it's making THEM look like morons. - If it is supposed to be a diss, TNA must be considerably blind towards peoples perceptions of them.

They're still using that dumbass belt? Jesus they were doing that when I stopped watching TNA around Thanksgiving. Is Eric Young still feuding with James Storm over who can drink the most beer?

ToyBiz did make the NWA world title playset thing with those mini figures. That's kinda like a kids belt. I'd imagine that once the Jakks TNA line starts taking off that we'll see some foam belts. It's too bad Jakks didn't get the line sooner. Even though I don't care about the foam belts, I probably would have bought a foam NWA world title.

Even though it sucks, it's still a million times better than the real WWE spinner crap.

It's hard plastic (NWA Playset).

I think they're talking about the strap when referencing "foam belts" mate. The plates are generally plastic.

The strap is plastic? =/
That's odd. My mistake then.

Yeah I know what you guys are talking about, I'm just saying that the playset is the closet thing to a foam NWA belt that we ever got.
Wait... actually I think WCW released a foam belt back in 1990 that looks similar to the world title. It was kinda like the first WWF foam belts that were supposed to be the world and IC titles, but looked nothing like them.
