Did I say anything about his father/brother storyline? No, that was Kaneish. But, the mask being taken off has nothing to do with "Kane" whatso ever. All he did was take off a mask which they did diffrently than when Kane did it. So what that he took off that mask? Kane lost his mask in a match while Abyss chose to take it off. There's a diffrence between it so why bother to even go "Oh look, he's taking off his mask like Kane"? I think they mean just the general way Abyss's career has gone: Was a mysterious and credible monster for a long time, slowly had his credibility destroyed, then was unmasked and became useless forever. True. But, the thing is we don't know what's going to happen to him once he is unmasked. Who says he's unmasked for good? He could come back under a diffrent mask and name. Anything is possible. |

How the hell are they turning hiim into Kane? He took it off himself he never lost it in a match. You people piss me off how everything has to be compared to something. Just sit down and enjoy the damn show or don't watch it. Lets count the ways shall we?.. 1. Was a big, dominant monster who never spoke 2. Now speaks 3. Manager/handler is his father 4. Feuded with his brother 5. Has worn a mask all through his time in TNA 6. Is being unmasked Ring any bells?.. It doesn't matter if he took the mask off himself, or if he lost it in a match - the fact is, that the mask is coming off.. |

Oh, and you're damn right Rhino's a cool guy. One of the few wrestlers I met that made you feel like "Hey, this guys just like me" Hes one of those guys you could see yourself hanging out with.

I love how everyone is claiming TNA has ruined Abyss....well let them ruin it, they did create it.
..and for the record, I like Abyss much more than Kane. Especially his in-ring work.

Yeah, but atleast Abyss hasn't turned into comedy hour with The Rock and Hulk Hogan, or with Kurt Angle and Jeremy Borash in TNA. I think Kane's credibility has been compromised a million times more than Abyss'. I mean Abyss has a one month title reign, Kane had a one day title reign. |

I don't know if I'm going crazy or what...
..but I could have sworn that Kane was in a match with RVD. If they lost he would have to take off the mask. But they ended up winning but at the end of the match Kane decided to take the mask off anyways and TURN on RVD.
..I don't remember him losing a title vs. mask match to HHH...

he lost to triple h from outside interference from evolution and then sometime in june he removed his mask and turned heel
and come to find out...kane never had facial scars...just mental...go figure

Harris and Abyss wrestled in my area for YEARS, before ever signing with TNA. Abyss was ALWAYS Prince Justice on the indys, before TNA created the Abyss character. And they did create it. Abyss appeared on a couple of TNAs first shows, including the first TNA title battle royal under the name Justice, with no mask. TNA created Abyss, to be Kid Kash's bodyguard or whatever. Honestly, with all the "Kane imitator" remarks, im just glad Abyss didnt  a girl and then kill her. and Kurt Angle didnt molest her dead corpse. thank God. |

On a local wrestling radio show, The StrangleHold, Rhino was a special guest. When asked about where TNA was going with Abyss, he said, roughly... "Well, it looks like they are going to unmask him, which I particular think is a bad idea, he's really ugly. Haha, but no, It seems as if TNA is unmasking him, and I personally think that it doesn't matter if he has a mask or no mask, he can entertain the fans." Yeah, I would like to see how this goes. Rhino is a cool guy too. this is really going to ruin abyss. abyss needs to keep the mask on . i saw abysss without his mask at the hotel they stayied in st louis for lockdown & he was ugly as hell abyss could break a tv with his face & looks like a wannabe rhyno or big dick dudley. |

My point is, with all these Kane/Abyss comparisons.....Kane has been buried a million times over, much more than Abyss has ever been buried. Like I said, Abyss didn't have a "Katie Vick" incident....
